INSTALLATION FOR PUMPING HYDROCARBONS, MODULE AND METHOD
The present invention concerns an installation for pumping hydrocarbons, including a pump submerged in a well and a motor for driving the pump, said motor being linked to a variable frequency drive powered during normal operation by an external network, the drive including a rectifier supplying a DC bus, an inverter supplied by the DC bus and linked to the motor, and a controller, said installation wherein it further includes an electricity storage element linked by a reversible DC-DC converter to the DC bus, the installation being arranged to ensure the variable frequency drive is supplied by the storage element in case of an interruption to the supply via the external network.
STICK PUMP ASSEMBLY
A stick pump assembly includes a tube having a first end, a second end, and an axis extending through the first end and the second end. The stick pump assembly also includes a pump having a motor and an impeller. The pump has an inlet adjacent the first end and in fluid communication with the tube. The stick pump assembly also includes a chamber surrounding the pump. The chamber is fluidly separated from the motor. The stick pump assembly also includes a handle having an outlet adjacent the second end and in fluid communication with the tube, a receptacle configured to receive a battery pack, and a grip formed by an outer periphery of the handle. The grip is configured to be grasped by a user during operation of the stick pump assembly. The outlet and the grip are positioned along the axis between the tube and the receptacle.
Cordless portable pump device
A cordless portable pump device comprising a submersible pump, wiring means capable of conducting electrical current, a power supply comprising a rechargeable battery pack from a commercially available portable power tool having a voltage rating of at least fourteen volts, and a power receptacle suitably adapted to receive and retain the power supply.
Cordless Fluid Pump
A fluid pump having a housing with a fluid input and a fluid output, a removable power tool battery pack disposed within the housing, a motor disposed within the housing and electrically connected to the power tool battery pack, and an impeller driven by the motor for drawing fluid through an input opening and into an output opening. The fluid pump may be partially buoyant when placed in a fluid.
SOLAR PUMP DEVICE FOR LIQUIDS WITH MOVABLE TANK
A pumping device for liquids is described which comprises a tank for liquids, from which a feeding pipe of a pump with a solar panel draws. The tank consists of a supporting frame with tubular uprights and upper and lower horizontal connection lengths, which supports and surrounds a flexible bag for containing liquids and has an upper connection crossbar of the upper horizontal lengths of the supporting frame, on which the pump with solar panel is mounted. The bag has a lower filling hole or mouth, in which the feeding pipe can be inserted and an overflow hole made in the upper of part of its side wall in position lower than said mouth.
WATER PUMPING SYSTEM FOR ROOFTOP APPLICATIONS AND THE LIKE
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a water pumping system. More specifically, embodiments of the present invention are directed to a solar electric powered, siphon-capable water pumping systems specifically configured for use in rooftop and other applications having similar need and conditions. Advantageously, a water pumping system configured in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention is configured to prevent pooling of water in low-lying areas of a roof and thereby limits the potential for damage to the roof and underlying structure that could otherwise result from such pooling of the water.
MULTI-OUTLET UTILITY PUMP
A multi-outlet fluid pump includes a housing, a motorized pump, an electrical power supply, a fluid inlet, and two separate discharge outlets.
Hybrid Motor for Fluid Pump
A hybrid motor for a fluid pump, including an engine having a flywheel and an engine housing; an electric motor having an electric motor housing; at least one storage battery coupled to the electric motor; a clutch rotatably connected to a shaft, the shaft extending from the flywheel through the electric motor; a controller configured to control the fluid pump with inputs from an operator and the fluid pump and an output of the engine and the electric motor; and an inverter coupled between the electric motor and the controller, the inverter providing at least a charging setting and a power setting; when the inverter is in the charging setting the electric motor produces power which is stored in the at least one electrical storage battery and when the inverter is in the power setting the electric motor is providing power as the output.
Machine and method for vacuum assisted servicing of a fluid enclosure
A portable battery-powered vacuum pump includes a housing having an intake vent, an outlet, and a fan assembly including a fan. The vacuum pump includes a magnet having a holding strength great enough to resist terrestrial gravitational force acting on the vacuum pump, a battery, and a power and control circuit that selectively applies power from the battery to rotate the fan, such that gas is drawn into the intake vent and expelled from the outlet.
Devices, systems and methods for detecting leaks and measuring usage
Devices, systems and methods for leak detection are provided herein. Also provided are devices, systems and methods for monitoring and/or measuring fluid usage. In some aspects, a system comprising a sensor, a processing system, and a platform are provided. In some aspects, the sensor may be coupled to a spinning device. The sensor can be configured to detect fluid data, which can comprise, for example, displacement data of liquid and/or movement data associated with the liquid in a container and/or flow data associated with a flow of fluid in a conduit. The processing system can be coupled with the sensor and configured to communicate the fluid data. The platform can comprise an application communicatively coupled to one or more databases storing evaluation data (e.g., known pattern data) and configured to receive the fluid data and determine if there is a leak.
