Threaded connection for tandem motors of electrical submersible pump
An electrical submersible pump assembly has modules including a pump, at least one motor, and a pressure equalizer coupled to the motor. First and second ones of the modules have a threaded connection including a first adapter having threads. A second adapter mounted to the second module has a tubular body, a neck of smaller diameter than the body, an external shoulder at a base of the neck, a rim on the neck, and an external groove between the external shoulder and the rim. A collar is rotatably carried and axially movable on the neck, the collar being in threaded engagement with the threads of the first adapter, the collar having an internal groove. A split shoulder ring carried partly in the external groove and partly in the internal groove retains the collar on the neck and is biased into one of the grooves.
Electrical feedthrough for subsea submersible well pump in canister
A subsea pump assembly includes a tubular conduit that has an upstream end plate and an inlet for flowing well fluid into an interior of the conduit. A power cable opening extends through the upstream end plate. An electrical submersible pump and motor are in the interior of the conduit. The motor has a motor assembly housing with an upstream end having an electrical insulator opening. An end connection secures the upstream end to an interior side of the upstream end plate with the insulator opening registering with the power cable opening. An insulated electrical connector is mounted in the insulator opening. A motor wire in the motor assembly housing joins to an inner end of the electrical connector. A power conductor extends from exterior of the conduit through the power cable opening and joins to an outer end of the electrical connector.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DRIVING A VACUUM PUMP
A vacuum pump drive having an electric motor and a frequency converter electrically connected to the electric motor and arranged at a distance to the motor, wherein in the electric feed line from the frequency converter to the electric motor a transformer in the form of a transmitter of ferrite or sinter material is arranged.
ELECTRIC PUMP
An electric pump includes: a motor; an impeller rotated by the motor; a motor housing portion that houses the motor; an impeller housing portion that houses the impeller and is positioned at one side with respect to the motor housing portion in a rotation axis of the motor; an introduction pipe portion that introduces a fluid into the impeller housing portion and is positioned at the one side with respect to the motor housing portion; a discharge pipe portion that discharges the fluid from the impeller housing portion; and a printed circuit board electrically connected to a coil of the motor and positioned at the one side with respect to the motor housing portion.
LOW PROFILE PUMP MOTOR LEAD PROTECTOR
A low profile pump motor lead protector with a head guard and a trailing guard, the head guard including a front section with a front end and a rear section with a rear end, the trailing guard having a pin end for insertion in a head guard socket, the lead protector for protecting a motor lead of a pump and motor assembly of a downhole production string for surfacing fluid from a reservoir such as a subterranean oil well.
INTEGRATED ELECTRIC SUBMERSIBLE PUMPING SYSTEM WITH ELECTROMAGNETICALLY DRIVEN IMPELLER
A technique facilitates pumping of various fluids such as well fluids. An electric submersible pumping system is constructed with an outer housing which contains an integrated pump and motor. The pump may comprise an impeller disposed within a stator of the motor. The integration of the pump and the motor enables elimination of various components of traditional electric submersible pumping systems to thus provide a simpler and more compact system for pumping fluids.
Electric submersible pump power cable termination assembly
A power cable termination assembly can include a cable end; a connector end; a longitudinal axis that extends between the cable end and the connector end; a cable securing mechanism; a dielectric material space that includes a volume where the dielectric material space is disposed axially at least in part between the cable securing mechanism and the connector end; and a movable component that moves responsive to a pressure differential where movement of the movable component alters the volume of the dielectric material space.
Electric pump
An electric pump includes a motor rotor provided in a first end region in the axial direction of a rotary shaft, a pump rotor provided in a second end region in the axial direction of the rotary shaft, and a pump housing supporting the rotary shaft. The pump housing has a first housing portion for accommodating the pump rotor and a second housing portion having a blocking portion. The first housing portion has a suction port for drawing in fluid and a discharge port for discharging the drawn-in fluid.
Portable pump
A pump for non-flammable liquids has an improved mounting for the motor which facilitates the relatively quick and easy removal of the motor from the pump. The pump has a main body which is hollow and cylindrical. A motor housing is connected to the main body by threads at a first end and has a removable end cap on its second end. The electric motor is located in said motor housing and secured when the end cap is on the motor housing. An electronics housing has a battery adapter plate, a switch, and a discharge port, and encloses wires and electronics such that the motor pumps the liquid from the end cap, through the motor housing and the main body, and out of the discharge port when the switch is turned on.
Thermal probe for motor lead extension
An electric submersible pumping system is configured to produce fluids from a well. The submersible pumping system includes a motor drive, an electric motor driven by the motor drive, a sensor module and a power cable. An upper end of the power cable is connected to the motor drive. The electric submersible pumping system further includes a pothead connected to the motor and a motor lead extension, where an upper end of the motor lead extension is connected to the power cable and a lower end of the motor lead extension is connected to the motor through the pothead. The electric submersible pumping system includes a motor lead extension temperature sensor located in the pothead.
