PLANT ROOT MANAGEMENT AND PROTECTION
A plant root management and protection system configured for embedding within a dug pit, the system comprising: a sidewall peripherally defining a receiving internal cavity and having (i) a top opening dimensioned to receive a root ball of a plant therethrough, and (ii) a bottom opening defined by a peripheral edge of the sidewall; and at least one root-guiding extension extending outwardly from the sidewall and perpendicularly to a longitudinal axis of the sidewall, wherein each of the at least one root-guiding extensions defines an open-ended hollow passageway in communication with the cavity; wherein, when embedded a dug pit, the longitudinal axis of the sidewall is upright and the top opening does not extend above surface level, and wherein at least a vertical portion of the sidewall ending with the peripheral edge is configured for entrenching in a bottom surface of the pit.
Method and apparatus for airborne dissemination and implantation of seeds
This invention relates to a method and apparatus for the airborne dissemination and implantation of seeds utilizing an aerodynamic seed delivery apparatus with built-in nutrients, anti-pest, and anti-fungal properties that can be disseminated rapidly from an airborne platform. The velocity of impact and depth of penetration into specific soil types by the delivery apparatus can be controlled up to a terminal velocity kinetic energy by exploiting a specified drag coefficient, mass, and altitude of release. The seeds are delivered and imbedded into the soil at the optimal depth and orientation to maximize germination rates, since seed orientation has a pronounced effect on germination and sprout mortality rates. Flight paths for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) utilized for dissemination can be automated to adjust coordinates based on wind vectors, terrain elevation data, and soil permeability data to efficiently achieve a desired penetration depth across a specified geographic area.
Garden seed planter
A garden seed planter that displays a color for identifying the type of garden product that will be produced by a plant from a seed contained in a starch capsule of the garden seed planter. In a preferred lollipop form embodiment at least a portion of the garden seed planter starch capsule has a colored coating that is substantially the same color as the garden product produced by the plant to be grown from the seed, and there is a planter stake attached to the seed capsule having a portion that also displays substantially the same color as the garden product.
Distribution assembly for an aerial vehicle
Provided is a seeder assembly for an aerial vehicle as shown and described. The distribution assembly includes a frame selectively attachable to an aerial vehicle and at least one distribution device attached to the frame. The distribution device having a body defining a cavity to receive a plurality of products and a barrel to discharge the plurality of products. A control device configured to communicate with the aerial vehicle and the distribution device to coordinate the timing that products are discharged and a spacing of a subsequent discharged product relative to the speed of the aerial vehicle. A system, method, and cartridge device associated with the distribution assembly are also contemplated by this disclosure.
Systems and Methods for Planting Flora and Fauna Through Drone Delivery
The present disclosure provides generally for a system and method for planting flora, fauna, and dispersing various organisms through drone delivery. The system may comprise of a drone with seedling box that may hold and drop the pods containing flora or fauna. The seedling box may hold the pods with the flora or fauna in them and at specific intervals drop the pod with the to flora or fauna. The seedling box may also hold various organisms or other materials and drop these organisms or materials when directed. A seedling box may comprise loading mechanism and deploying mechanism to facilitate accurate, timely deployment of the pods containing the seedlings. A pod may comprise a weighted tip with hollow cavity for seedling placement and a vertical rod for securing seedling during deployment. Where the system comprises uneven number of seedlings, seedling box may include counterweights to provide stability in configured flight patterns for duration of seedling deployment.
BIODEGRADABLE PLANTER POTS COMPRISING STARCH AND AN OUTER SILICON LAYER
The invention is directed to biodegradable planter pots constructed from starch and an outer silicon layer. The starch provides a biodegradable and/or compostable characteristic to the pot, allowing it to be broken down into the soil after the pot has been planted. The outer silicon layer provides durability to the pots, allowing them to retain their shape for an additional period of time and withstand handling, while also retaining the biodegradable characteristics of the pots. Advantageously, the pots allow seedlings and seeds to be directly deposited into the soil, while also providing structure to the plant for the initial growth period. Advantageously, the pots provide a stable structural support that is hardy and/or water-resistant but can also being broken down as the plant grows.
Environmentally friendly toy projectiles
The present invention provides biodegradable projectiles for toy launchers that contain viable seeds. When lost outdoors the projectiles do not pollute the environment but instead degrade naturally and the seeds grow into plants that enhance the landscape.
PLANT CULTIVATION POT
A plant cultivation pot comprises a first paper fiber board constituting a wall portion of the plant cultivation pot and a second paper fiber board constituting a bottom portion of the plant cultivation pot. The plant cultivation pot comprises a plinth portion so that a part of the wall portion is below the bottom portion in the height direction of the plant cultivation pot. An outline of a lower edge of the first paper fiber board constituting the plinth portion is provided with cuts extending towards an upper rim of the plant cultivation pot. Thus, the cuts form openings in the wall portion through which roots of a plant can grow out from the plant cultivation pot.
Formulations and products to replace single-use plastics and polystyrene with bio-benign materials such as agricultural wastes
The present invention provides methods for preparing the nut waste pot composites from a nut waste component, one or more binders, and an oil.
Seedling starter box device and method for transplanting seedling plants
A transplanting device and method to eliminate seedling replanting stresses and reduce transplanting time, allowing several seedlings to quickly and efficiently go into the ground at one time in one fluid motion. The generally rectangular box has a sliding drip plate, supported above the box floor, creating an open region, allowing for water drainage and retention through the plurality of drain holes. The first short side and the opposing second short side are detachable and removable from the generally rectangular box. An alternative method provides an open top and open end slide tray in which a plurality of sliding drip plates are arrayed and separated into a plurality of plate spaces, having a plurality of seedling plants. A pair of slide handles is used to easily remove and identify the seedling plants.
