Proposed is a through type drain pump for a fluid draining apparatus of a fluid pipe. The drain pump includes: a housing formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, the housing being configured such that a fluid inlet port and a fluid outlet port are in communication with each other via a fluid movement path; a rotary shaft having a driving motor, the rotary shaft being rotatably coupled to an output shaft of the driving motor via a coupler; an impeller formed at a lower end of the rotary shaft and configured to be rotated so that the fluid is moved to the fluid outlet port through the fluid movement path; and a mounter mounted at a lower outer side surface of the housing and configured to mount the drain pump on any pipe such that the drain pump is capable of being lifted and inserted into the pipe.

Integrated pressurized pump shaft seal assembly and method of use thereof

An integrated pressurized pump shaft seal assembly for a submersible rotary fluid pump comprises an oil reservoir having a pressure equal or less than the ambient pressure external fluids surrounding the casing, the oil reservoir feeding an oil pump impeller that is mountable onto, so as to be rotated by, the rotary fluid pump shaft. The impeller is a radial hole impeller in fluid communication with an adjacent diffusion element comprising an internal diffusion bore in fluid communication with an axially vertical spiral volute diffusion chamber located between inner and outer walls of a mechanical seal housing. The centrifugal oil pump impeller pumps oil from the oil reservoir to the seal chamber through the diffusion element and the internal volute diffusion element so as to increase a pressure within the seal chamber to a positive pressure above the ambient pressure of the external fluids surrounding the pump housing.

An impeller for centrifugal pumps having at least one blade for delivering solids-containing media has, between a leading edge of the blade and a circumferential direction, an angle α, and between a leading edge of the blade and a meridional direction, an angle β. Depending on the dominant speed, the associated angles α, β are less than 90°, preferably less than 70°, in particular less than 50°.

System for the circulation of gas in airs gaps of rotating machines

A system for the recirculation of gas in air gaps of rotating machines via an ejector, a motor and a pump, including circulating a gas extracted from a gas-extraction unit which is located in the pump. This gas circulates in the gap between the rotors and the stator of the motor. The rotor of the motor is coupled to the shaft of the pump, and in one or more embodiments the gas from the gas-extraction unit flows from the pump to the ejector in order to be injected into the air gap between the rotor and the stator, thereafter returning to a process line. In one or more embodiments, the gas from the gas-extraction unit flows from the pump, and is injected directly into the air gap, and thereafter passes via the ejector in order to recirculate the gas to the process line.

The disclosed system and methods continuously detect water levels in sump pumps and may implement control based on the detected water level. The disclosed systems may include a sensor assembly including one or more sensors that may be configured to detect a gravity vector relative to the sensor assembly housing, which may be analyzed to calculate a water level in a basin. The calculated water level may be used to assess water accumulation conditions, to control activation and deactivation of the sump pump, to assess performance of the sump pump system and its components, and to implement other control functions relating to the sump pump.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A MECHANICAL SHAFT LOCK ON AN ELECTRIC SUBMERSIBLE PUMP

The present embodiments disclose a mechanical shaft lock for use in electric submersible pumps. The mechanical shaft lock can include one or more shear pins. When an end of the shear pin, e.g., shear pin head, lines up with one or more shearing slots on the MSL or pump shaft, the shear pin engages and stops the rotation of the pump shaft and motor attached to the pump. The shaft lock can be engaged for installing an ESP, disengaged for production after installing by breaking the shear pin upon start-up, and re-engaged for removing the ESP from the wellbore. In some embodiments, the MSL may be configured to be disengaged and re-engaged to deal with well kicks.

A fluid pump assembly is used in combination with a container having a wall. The pump assembly comprises a first casing disposed outside the container in contact with the wall, a first magnetic assembly mounted to the first casing and operatively associated with a drive motor, a second casing disposed inside the container in contact with the wall, and a second magnetic assembly mounted to the second casing and operatively associated with an propeller. The first magnetic assembly includes a rotatable magnetic drive member drivingly coupled to the drive motor. The magnetic drive member is magnetically coupled to the magnetic driven member through the wall for imparting a rotary driving force of the drive motor to the propeller. Furthermore, the second casing is detachably connected to the second side of the wall of the container solely by magnetic attraction force between the first and second magnetic assemblies.
