An automatic dispensing device for dispensing a volatile substance, the device comprising: a fan configured to generate airflow and dispense the volatile substance from the device; a drive apparatus having at least one electromagnetic coil connectable to a drive circuit; wherein the fan comprises at least one magnet located along an arc of the fan and the electromagnetic coil is configured to attract or repel the at least one magnet; wherein the drive circuit is configured to switch the current direction in the electromagnetic coil to sequentially attract and then repel the at least one magnet as the fan rotates.

The present invention relates to a fruit or vegetable shaped fan for dispersing airborne eye irritants that are released during cutting fruits or vegetables. The fan includes a base that is wedge-shaped, an air inflow collimator that is fruit or vegetable shaped having an open front end, an internal frame that is configured to provide minimal abatement to airflow through the air inflow collimator, a motor mount that secures a motor, a fan blade that attaches to the motor, and a grill that attaches to the open front end of the air inflow collimator. The fan is configured to disperse airborne eye irritants away from a user's eyes. Airborne eye irritants are released when certain fruits and vegetables are chopped or otherwise cut. Such fruits and vegetables that can release airborne eye irritants when cut include onions, peppers, and certain other fruits and vegetables.

A portable blower assembly includes a cylinder that has an exhaust port integrated into the cylinder. A handle extends around the cylinder and the handle can be gripped by a user for directing the exhaust port toward a vehicle. A blower is rotatably integrated into the cylinder to urge air outwardly through the exhaust port thereby facilitating the air to be directed onto the vehicle for drying the vehicle when the blower is turned on. A heater is integrated into the cylinder such that the heater is in thermal communication with an interior of the cylinder. A stand-on debris blower comprising including a main frame, a pair of front wheels, and a pair of rear wheels. A cabin blower for an aircraft, the system comprising: a cabin blower compressor; an electric machine; and a controller configured to control the cabin blower system so that: in a cabin blower mode of operation, the cabin blower compressor is driven by power extracted from one or more spools of a gas turbine engine of the aircraft and provides a flow of air to a cabin of the aircraft. The controller may be further configured to control the system so that: in a rotor bow mitigation mode of operation, the cabin blower compressor is driven by the electric machine using electrical power from an electrical power source and provides a flow of air through a core of the gas turbine engine to remove heat from the core. A method of operating a cabin blower system of an aircraft is also provided.

The fan includes a fan-side linker which links the fan with the fan opening.

A blower includes a rotor, a motor adapted to drive the rotor, at least one bearing to rotatably support the rotor, a stationary component, and a bearing sleeve provided to the stationary component. The bearing sleeve is structured and arranged to support and retain the bearing to the stationary component. The present invention relates generally to the field of cooling devices. More specifically, the present invention relates to a table fan device comprised of at least one fan that is further comprised of at least one fan blade, a housing, at least one button, and at least one motor. The device may, in differing embodiments, attach itself to the underside of a table via the use of fasteners and support arms. The device is powered by a motor that rotates the fan blades around a vertical shaft to create airflow. In this manner, the device efficiently expels airflow to create an ideal climate for its users. Accordingly, the present disclosure makes specific reference thereto. Nonetheless, it is to be appreciated that aspects of the present invention are also equally applicable to other like applications, devices and methods of manufacture.
