A modular planting system comprising a plurality of container units to receive therein a growing medium and one or more plants or plant material, the container unit being configured such that adjacent abutting container units define at least one or more voids therebetween; a frame with a plurality of engagement projections which extend at least partially into the at least one or more voids defined between adjacent abutting container units to maintain said container units in the abutting arrangement and positioned above apertures defined in the support frame member; and a water impermeable base that supports the frame spaced apart by a predetermined distance from an upper surface of the water impermeable base.

HORTICULTURE TRAY SUPPORT SYSTEM
20230120341 · 2023-04-20 ·

A horticulture tray support system including a plurality of horticulture trays. Each one of the plurality of horticulture trays defines a plurality of growing cells. A stand includes a plurality of vertical supports spaced apart along a length of the stand. A horizontal support extends along the length of the stand between at least two of the plurality of vertical supports. The stand is configured to support the plurality of horticulture trays above a surface that the plurality of vertical supports are seated on.

Plant support for hydroponic growing system

A hydroponic growing system is presented. The system can include multiple growing trays in a vertical arrangement, where a pump supplies the top-most tray and each lower tray is supplied by the overlying tray, and where the plumbing elements for supply and drainage are arranged to one side of the system. The system includes variations to support different crop types within the same system, including removable growing structures for root vegetable, microgreens and supports for vining crops. The system can monitor and adjust the nutrients and other features of the systems water profile to concurrently group multiple crops in differing developing stages.

GROOVED STACKABLE PANEL FOR FLOATING CULTIVATION OF PLANTS

Panel for floating cultivation of plants on water, includes parallel grooves at a top side extending longitudinally, adapted for receiving a substrate and a number of plants or precursors in the substrate, each groove extending through the panel from a first top plane to a second parallel plane. The panel includes air chambers at a lower side extending substantially below the second plane, each of the air chambers allowing therein formation of air roots of plants supported in the substrate of the grooves. At the second plane, each groove is spaced apart from the circumferential side wall of the air chamber it debouches in when projected onto a plane normal to the longitudinal direction, each of the grooves including at least two side support surfaces extending parallel to the groove and below the top side, the side support surfaces adapted for substantially completely supporting the substrate in the groove.

Weed Barrier And Method Of Use

A weed barrier includes a rigid body defining a plurality of basins. The basins have bottoms with holes therethrough for planting garden plants. In a particular embodiment the bottom surface of the weed barrier includes a plurality of hose channels configured be positioned over a hose. Several example configurations of rigid weed barriers are disclosed. Some example weed barriers include flanges that facilitate the adjustable arrange of the weed barriers with respect to one another.

FLEXIBLE SEEDLING TRAY WITH CARRIER TAB
20220322614 · 2022-10-13 ·

A flexible seedling tray with at least one carrier tab for lifting the seedling tray. The seedling tray has a plurality of upwardly tapered cells arranged in rows and columns. The cells can be connected or joined together across an upper terminus to which is attached the at least one carrier tab. When the seedling tray is lifted by the at least one carrier tab, the flexibility of the seedling tray and the taper of the cells causes the cells to come together, bringing the base surfaces together to form a stable arc across the bottom side. The force of the cells pressing against each other provides support and rigidity to the seedling tray for easier transport. When placed on a surface, the cells separate and are supported on the surface.
