FAN MOTOR
A fan motor includes a motor including a stationary portion and a rotating portion arranged to rotate about a rotation axis extending in a vertical direction; an impeller including a plurality of blades, and arranged to rotate together with the rotating portion; a housing arranged to house the motor and the impeller therein; and a plurality of lead wires each of which is connected to the motor and is arranged to extend radially outward. The housing includes a tubular portion being tubular, and arranged to extend from an inlet side to an outlet side along the rotation axis, and house at least a portion of the impeller therein; a flange portion arranged to project radially outward from at least a portion of the tubular portion; a lead wire outlet defined in at least a portion of the tubular portion, and arranged to pass through the tubular portion in a radial direction; and a vertical groove arranged to be in communication with the lead wire outlet, and arranged to pass through the flange portion in an axial direction. The flange portion includes a first restricting portion arranged to extend toward the tubular portion. At least one of the lead wires is drawn radially outward through the lead wire outlet, and is held in the vertical groove radially inside of the first restricting portion.
Fan mounting chassis
An assembly that includes a planar surface, a plurality of first features disposed on the planar surface and a plurality of second features disposed on the planar surface. Each second feature is associated with one of the first features and a fan module coupled to one of the first features and the associated second feature.
Vacuum cleaner motor assemblies and methods of operating same
A vacuum cleaner includes a housing, a debris chamber defined within the housing, and a motor assembly connected to the housing and operable to generate airflow through the debris chamber. The motor assembly includes a motor, an impeller, an impeller housing, and a controller. The impeller is connected to the motor and operable to generate airflow upon operation of the motor. The impeller housing is constructed of an electrically-conductive material. The impeller is positioned within the impeller housing. The controller includes a circuit board assembly. The circuit board assembly including a common circuit, and the impeller housing is electrically connected to the common circuit.
Ceiling fan having a dual redundant motor mounting assembly
A ceiling fan having a dual redundant motor mounting assembly for suspending a motor comprising a downrod, a hollow motor shaft suspending the motor from the downrod, a retaining pin extending through the hollow motor shaft, and a retaining rod coupled to the retainer pin for redundantly suspending the motor.
FAN MODULE, ELECTRICAL DEVICE HAVING CONNECTOR RESTRICTING CONFIGURATION, AND A RESTRICTING FRAME
A fan module is disposed with a fan mechanism having a fixing portion. The fixing portion has a first surface, a second surface, and a perforation passing through the first and the second surface, wherein the first surface and the second surface face opposite directions. A connector is disposed in the perforation and is electrically connected to a wire set which is adapted to transmit a signal or electric power. A shell of the connector includes a body for passing through the perforation and a protruding portion protruding away from a circumference of the body and abutting against the first surface of the fixing portion. The restricting member is detachably engaged with the fixing portion and the connector to clamp the protruding portion and the fixing portion by two restricting plates of the restricting member. With such design, the fan module could be installed to a site via the connector to achieve positioning and electrical connection once.
MOTOR-COMPRESSOR UNIT WITH MAGNETIC BEARINGS
A motor-compressor unit for sub-sea applications, including a pressure casing, and an electric motor housed in a motor compartment formed in the pressure casing and a compressor housed in a compressor compartment formed in the pressure casing. A shaft drivingly connects the electric motor and the compressor. At least one magnetic bearing rotatingly supports the shaft and a control system is provided for controlling the magnetic bearing. The control system is housed in a control system compartment structurally connected to and supported by the pressure casing.
Cordless Fan
A cordless wall fan having a front and rear housing, and safety grills, that plugs directly into a wall socket, and configured to safely provide air movement in the home and white noise near sleeping children, without taking up space on horizontal surfaces and without using potentially dangerous power cords.
CEILING FAN
A ceiling fan assembly having a motor assembly with a rotating blade hub, and at least one fan blade mounted to the rotating blade hub with a blade span defined between a tip and a root, and defining an airfoil cross section including a rounded leading edge and a v-shaped trailing edge defining a chord therebetween. The blade comprising a pressure side surface and a suction side surface extending between the leading and trailing edges and including a hollow interior and including a tip opening at the tip and a root opening at the root for accessing the hollow interior. The at least one fan blade includes a thickness to chord ratio of less than about 15%.
Ceiling fan
A ceiling fan including a retention system and method of redundantly retaining a ceiling fan can include a ceiling fan motor assembly including a hollow motor shaft at least partially surrounded by a motor housing. A retainer plate is provided at the bottom of the motor housing including an opening. A retainer rod extends through the opening in the retainer plate and secures to the retainer plate. A support cable couples to the retainer rod to suspend the retainer plate from a structure, wherein the retainer plate is configured to redundantly retainer the ceiling fan.
ELECTRIC DEVICE AND ELECTRIC DEVICE MANUFACTURING METHOD
An electric device includes a case, an electric component that is provided in the case and has a main body section and a lead terminal extending from the main body section, the main body section being supported on the case, a circuit board that is provided in the case and has a connecting hole through which the lead terminal is inserted, and a guide member that has a guide hole positioned relative to the connecting hole, the lead terminal being disposed to penetrate through the guide hole.
