A pump is provided with a housing and with an upstream inlet and a downstream outlet and a fluid channel with a channel axis, said fluid channel being arranged between the inlet and outlet. A rotor which can be brought into rotation by way of a motor is arranged within the fluid channel. Furthermore, a sensor arrangement is provided which can detect an inclination of the rotation axis of the rotor.

Unitary thick diamond composite downhole tool components

An electric submersible pump system can include a shaft; at least one impeller operatively coupled to the shaft; and a bearing assembly that rotatably supports the shaft, where at least one component of the electric submersible pump includes a volumetric composite material that includes polycrystalline diamond material and at least one metallic material.

Cooling unit

A cooling unit comprising a coolant fluid pathway in which there is (a) a centrifugal pump which serves to pump coolant fluid along the pathway when the unit is in use, and (b) a heat exchanger which serves to cool the coolant fluid which is thus pumped along the pathway. The pump has a rotor constituted by a magnetically contactlessly driven impeller which is provided with at last one magnet and which is enclosed within a housing, and stator outside the housing and provided with at least one electromagnet operable to act on the said at least one magnet to rotate the impeller.

MOTOR ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
20200400148 · 2020-12-24 ·

A motor assembly includes a rolling bearing installed on a rotation shaft between an impeller and a rotor to support a first support of the rotation shaft, and a motor housing having a stator. The motor housing has a gas bearing bracket for accommodating a second support of the rotation shaft disposed at a side opposite to the first support with respect to the rotor. The motor assembly includes a gas bearing assembly in the gas bearing bracket to support rotation of the second support of the rotation shaft. The gas bearing assembly includes a gas bearing for surrounding the second support. The gas bearing is spaced apart from the second support of the rotation shaft to define a gap therebetween when the rotation shaft rotates. The gas bearing assembly includes an elastic member interposed between the gas bearing bracket and the gas bearing to elastically support the gas bearing.

Journal bearing and rotary machine

A journal bearing including a plurality of bearing pads having pad surfaces which configured to slidably come into contact with an outer circumferential surface of a rotating shaft and disposed at intervals, a key member provided a part of a pad rear surface which faces radially outward in the bearing pad, having a curved surface which is curved around an axis parallel to the central axis, configured to extend to have the same cross-sectional shape, and formed of a material having a hardness higher than that of a material forming the pad rear surface of the bearing pad, and a housing having a support surface in contact with a part of the curved surface of the key member in the circumferential direction and configured to support the key member and the bearing pad to be swingable from an outer side in a radial direction.

Subsea process lubricated water injection pump
10859084 · 2020-12-08 · ·

A subsea water injection pump includes components that are cooled and lubricated by the process fluid. The pump includes opposing stages of impellers in a back-to-back arrangement such that the axial forces of the impeller stages partially or nearly fully offset each other. In some cases, a combination of barrier fluid and process fluid is used for lubrication and cooling.

OIL FIELD PUMP

An oil field pump installed within a pipe that connects to an oil field, and feeds accumulated extraction oil in a predetermined direction, the oil field pump including a rotor with an impeller, a stator installed on the outer circumferential of the rotor and that forms a flow path for passing the extraction oil between the stator and the rotor and that includes a diffuser on the downstream side of the impeller, a static pressure bearing device installed between the rotor and the stator and that supports the load in the radial direction, and a supply flow path that supplies, to the static pressure bearing device, a portion of the extraction oil flowing along the inner side in the radial direction of the path.

BEARING SYSTEM FOR VERTICAL SHAFTS
20200362871 · 2020-11-19 ·

A vertical rotating system that includes a first vertical shaft that rotates. The first vertical shaft is oriented such that the gravitational force is substantially parallel to the first vertical shaft. A radial bearing extends about a first portion of the first vertical shaft. A first impeller sectioned couples to the first vertical shaft and rotates in a first direction to pump a first fluid. A first stator surrounds the first vertical shaft. The first stator defines a first groove that extends about a second portion of the first vertical shaft. The first groove receives a second fluid. A pressure of the second fluid drives the first vertical shaft away from the first groove.
