Motor Bearing With Anti-Rotation Spring For Electrical Submersible Well Pump
A submersible pump electrical motor has a bearing hub between adjacent rotor sections. The bearing hub has a hub outward facing sidewall and a hub inward facing hub sidewall through which the shaft extends. A collar having a collar inward facing sidewall is rigidly mounted to the hub outward facing sidewall. The collar has a collar outward facing sidewall spaced from stator sidewall by an annular clearance. A slit in the collar extends from the collar inward facing sidewall to the collar outward facing sidewall. An anti-rotation spring has a supporting portion inwardly biased against the hub outward facing sidewall and a locking portion protruding outward through the slit into engagement with the groove to prevent rotation of the hub and the collar.
FLUID PUMP
A fluid pump for conveying a fluid is provided comprising: a housing with a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, a rotor which is disposed rotatably about an axis of rotation in the housing, and a rotor body and at least one conveying element connected rigidly to the rotor body in order to convey the fluid from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet, the rotor being mounted in the housing radially to the axis of rotation by means of a passive magnetic bearing and also axially and radially by means of a mechanical and/or hydrodynamic bearing disposed on the inlet side or outlet side. A safety bearing is disposed on one side of the rotor situated opposite the mechanical and/or hydrodynamic bearing, wherein the safety bearing has a first safety bearing component connected rigidly to the rotor and a second safety bearing component connected rigidly to the housing.
PUMP
The present disclosure refers to a pump (1) comprising a rotor shaft (13) extending along a rotor axis (R), a bearing body (19) circumferentially encompassing the rotor shaft (13) and comprising a radially outer bearing surface (32), and a locking ring (25) circumferentially encompassing the rotor shaft (13) and limiting an axial movement of the bearing body (19) relative to the rotor shaft (13),
wherein the locking ring (25) comprises at least two radially inwardly protruding teeth (49, 51, 53, 55), wherein the locking ring (25) is radially expandable from a locking state to a mounting state against an elastic restoring force of the locking ring (25), wherein the locking ring (25) is, in the mounting state, positionable at a desired axial position on the rotor shaft (13), wherein the teeth (49, 51, 53, 55) are configured to press, in the locking state, against a radial outer surface (31) of the rotor shaft (13) by the elastic restoring force of the locking ring (25).
Alternating pump gaps
A blood pump system includes a pump housing and an impeller for rotating in a pump chamber within the housing. The impeller has a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The system includes a stator having drive coils for applying a torque to the impeller and at least one bearing mechanism for suspending the impeller within the pump chamber. The system includes a position control mechanism for moving the impeller in an axial direction within the pump chamber to adjust a size of a first gap and a size of a second gap, thereby controlling a washout rate at each of the first gap and the second gap. The first gap is defined by a distance between the first side and the housing and the second gap is defined by a distance between the second side and the pump housing.
