A contra-rotating compressor includes a first shaft assembly disposed in a housing, the first shaft assembly including an outer shaft, and a first plurality of impellers coupled to the outer shaft, wherein the outer shaft includes a final stage that includes a final impeller of the first plurality of impellers, a second shaft assembly disposed in the housing and rotatable about the longitudinal axis, the second shaft assembly including a second plurality of impellers, a first pair of annular seals between the final stage and an inner surface of the housing, the pair of annular seals being configured to permit relative rotation between the final stage and the housing, and a third annular seal positioned between the outer surface of the final stage and an inner surface of the second shaft assembly, the third annular seal configured to permit contra-rotation between the final stage and the second shaft assembly.
COMBUSTIBLE GAS COMPRESSOR
Provided is a combustible gas compressor for compressing combustible gas. The combustible gas compressor comprising: a compressor housing having an impeller rotatably disposed therein; a motor housing having a motor for driving the impeller therein; and a bearing rotatably supporting a rotational shaft transmitting rotation driving force of the motor to the impeller, wherein the compressor housing is integrally formed with the motor housing, the bearing is a self-lubricating type bearing not using lubricant oil, the self-lubricating type bearing being configured to lift the rotational shaft using gas.
Single-shaft turbo compressor
A single-shaft turbo compressor having a rotor extending along an axis, an outer housing, static flow fittings, bearings for supporting the rotor, and at least one first shaft seal, wherein the rotor has a shaft and an impeller arranged on the shaft, wherein the static flow fittings have supply elements, intermediate elements and discharge elements, and wherein the outer housing has a casing part that is open at the end on both sides. A first cover of the outer housing is connected to a first shaft seal, wherein supply lines and discharge lines of the first shaft seal are provided extending through the first cover into a wall thickness of the casing part adjacent to the first cover.
Labyrinth seal with angled fins
An aircraft engine having a shaft, an engine casing, at least one bearing located between the shaft and the engine casing, the engine casing defining a bearing cavity containing the at least one bearing, an air distribution system configured to inject compressed air to the bearing cavity to in use provide a sealing air flow entering the bearing cavity, and a labyrinth seal having a seal rotor and a seal stator, fins extending from one of the seal rotor and the seal stator toward the other of the seal rotor and the seal stator, at least one of the fins extending in an angled upstream direction relative to a direction of the sealing air flow.
CENTRIFUGAL PUMP FOR CONVEYING A FLUID
A centrifugal pump for conveying a fluid includes a pump housing, an impeller to convey the fluid from an inlet to an outlet, a shaft to rotate the impeller, a first sealing device to seal the shaft at a suction side, a second sealing device to seal the shaft at a discharge side, a balance drum connected to the shaft between the impeller and the second sealing device, the balance drum defining a front side facing the at least one impeller and a back side facing the second sealing device, a relief passage between the balance drum and a stationary part, a balance line connecting the back side with the suction side, a discharge opening arranged at the relief passage between the front side and the back side, and a connecting line connecting the discharge opening with the first sealing device.
SUSPENDING TOOL, SUPPORTING JIG, DISASSEMBLING METHOD FOR ROTARY MACHINE, AND ASSEMBLING METHOD FOR ROTARY MACHINE
A suspending tool includes a suspending tool main body that extends to be parallel with an axial direction above a rotor main body, a pair of bearing supporting portions that are disposed at an interval in the axial direction and are detachable from the bearing portions, a pair of seal supporting portions that are disposed inside the pair of bearing supporting portions in the axial direction at an interval in the axial direction and are detachable from the seal portions, and a plurality of diaphragm supporting portions that are disposed inside the pair of seal supporting portions in the axial direction such that the diaphragm supporting portions are disposed at intervals in the axial direction and are detachable from the diaphragms.
Electric supercharger and supercharging system
An electric supercharger that can reduce vibration amplitude in an end of a shaft due to rotational vibration is provided. An electric supercharger 101 comprises: an impeller 40 for supercharging a fluid by rotation; an impeller chamber 15 for accommodating the impeller 40; a motor 30 for driving the impeller 40 to rotate; and a motor chamber 18 for accommodating the motor 30. An opening 28 is provided between the impeller chamber 15 and the motor chamber 18 wherein the fluid is able to pass therethrough. Seal structures 50, 51, 52 are provided for separating the motor chamber 18 from the exterior at portions other than the opening 28.
Rotating leaf spring seal
