Modular plant support poles
In embodiments there is disclosed a modular pole for horticultural and agricultural use, pole sections and connector pins for use to assemble the pole, and methods for assembling the pole. In embodiments a connector pin is inserted into end sockets in opposed pole section ends and in embodiments the ends are held onto the connector pin by a fastener which may comprise a clip or a threaded sleeve.
Systems and methods utilizing an overhead plant training screen
Examples of the present disclosure are related to systems and methods to redirect vertical growth of flowering plants. In embodiments, a portable growing system may redirect vertical growth of plants in a late vegetative stage and in an early flower stage. This may allow lower budding sites positioned within the portable growing system to receive substantially the same amount of light as higher budding sites positioned within the portable growing system.
Portable plant support system
What is disclosed is a portable and/or movable plant support system that can be used in a consumer setting in which a plant is grown with the movable support system and can be moved from one place to another without altering the plant's growth and in an embodiment of which an indeterminate plant can be grown and allowed to be lowered when lower portions of the plant stop producing, thus allowing for new growth and thus enhanced production at the top of the plant.
Plant stake and display tag holder
A plant stake and display tag holder for use with a nursery container such as a pot or free-standing planter. The display tag is attached to the container and is accessible and visible to the consumer without obstruction from the container or plant contained therein. The bottom of the plant stake inserts into a slit in the rim portion of a nursery container and locks into place to hold the plant stake upright and securely in place. The display tag is held above the soil line and avoids the common problems associated with display tag holders inserted below the soil line.
Potted Plant Stabilizing Device
A potted plant stabilizing device includes a collar arrangement and legs. The collar arrangement is designed to fit around and hold a trunk or stem of a potted plant in an upright, stable position. The legs are designed to detachably connect the collar arrangement to a rim of a pot to minimize or prevent displacement of the collar arrangement. The collar arrangement includes a collar, which is made at least in part from a hard plastic or metal material or combination thereof. The collar is adjustable between a minimum and maximum diameter to accommodate trunks or stems of potted plants of different diameters.
EXTENDABLE MODULAR POT
A modular pot having a pot for carrying soil and plant load, in which ivy type plants can be grown, comprises a plurality of pot connecting pieces circumferentially arranged around a pot body, integrally formed with the pot body, and each having a pot connecting slot; a plurality of detachable connection elements adapted to extend the height of the modular pot and capable of being removed by the user as desired after attachment, wherein each connection element comprises a cylindrical connection element body, two opposing connection tips extending in opposite directions from the connection element body, each connection tip having two pressable flexible arms with an arm opening extending therethrough; and a plurality of intermediate connection pieces configured to engage with the connection elements of the same height to form intermediate layers, thereby enabling the modular pot to be raised modularly.
Disassemblable trellis
A trellis comprising a plurality of pole portions removably connected to one another via threaded connections or interference-fit connections; a top supporter removably connected to the plurality of pole portions via a threaded connection or a interference-fit connection; and a bottom base removably connected to the plurality of pole portions via a threaded connection or a interference-fit connection. Each of the plurality of pole portions having a middle hollow cylinder with a perforated chamber. Each perforated chamber having perforations that extend in a helical pattern along the pole portion. A light pole removably connected to the top supporter or to the plurality of pole portions via a threaded connection or a interference-fit connection. The light pole supporting an electrical wire that is electrically coupled to lights such as ultraviolet lights that shine on a plant that is supported by the trellis.
METHOD FOR SUPPORTING A PLANT
A method for supporting a plant has the steps of providing a trellis having a plurality of annular frames and a base structure. Each of the plurality of annular frames includes a front surface having a plurality of posts, and a rear surface having a plurality of receiving recesses. A plant and a plant support fastener are provided that includes a fastener body that extends to ends which each include either a post or a receiving recess. Adjacent annular frames are connected together via frictional engagement of at least some of the plurality of posts of a first annular frame with at least some of the receiving recesses of a second annular frame, such that the front surface of the first annular frame abuts the rear surface of the second annular frame. The plurality of annular frames are mounted on the base structure. Finally, the plant may be fastened to at least one of the plurality of annular frames using the plant support fastener.
