ROTARY PUMP FOR CONVEYING A FLUID
A rotary pump for conveying a fluid, includes a pump housing, a pump shaft, a hydraulic unit, a mechanical seal, and a stator. The hydraulic unit conveys and pressurizes the fluid, includes an impeller fixedly mounted on the pump shaft, and during operation generates an axial thrust to act on the pump shaft. The mechanical seal seals the pump shaft and includes a rotor connected to the pump shaft in a torque proof manner. The stator is stationary with respect to the pump housing. The mechanical seal is arranged between the hydraulic unit and an end of the pump shaft, and is a balancing device configured to generate an axial force on the pump shaft during operation, with the axial force configured to counteract the axial thrust.
FLUID PUMP AND OUTLET CHECK VALVE ASSEMBLY THEREOF
A fluid pump includes a housing; an inlet passage; an outlet conduit; a pumping element within the housing; and a check valve assembly. The check valve assembly includes a valve stem within the outlet conduit such that a flow path is created radially between the outlet conduit and the valve stem, the valve stem moving along a check valve assembly axis between a closed position and an open position. The flow path includes a first restriction which increases velocity of fluid passing through the flow path; a first expansion, downstream of the first restriction, which decreases velocity of fluid passing through the flow path; a second restriction, downstream of the first expansion, which increases velocity of fluid passing through the flow path; and a second expansion, downstream of the second restriction, which decreases velocity of fluid passing through the flow path.
Centrifugal multistage compressor
The present invention provides a centrifugal multistage compressor adapted to inhibit corrosion of an intermediate stage labyrinth. More particularly, the present invention provides a centrifugal multistage compressor adapted to inhibit carbon dioxide corrosion of the intermediate stage labyrinth. The centrifugal multistage compressor of the present invention includes: a rotary shaft equipped with a plurality of impellers; an ejection flow path extended between a first stage of the impellers and a last stage of the impellers and serving to discharge a fluid once from the compressor; a suction flow path extended between the first stage of the impellers and the last stage of the impellers and serving to inject the discharged fluid once again into the compressor; an intermediate diaphragm disposed between the ejection flow path and the suction flow path; and an intermediate stage labyrinth for sealing between the ejection flow path and the suction flow path, and has a configuration where the intermediate diaphragm includes a bypass flow path for supplying the intermediate stage labyrinth with some of the fluid flowing to the ejection flow path.
ROTARY SHAFT OF A CEILING FAN AND CEILING FAN HAVING THE SAME
A ceiling fan includes at least one rotary shaft that has a seat being semi-circular and a guiding portion being semi-spherical and having a guiding surface. A lower sealing ring of the ceiling fan has at least one protrusion. The guiding portion is mounted through the lower sealing ring and the guiding surface abuts against the at least one protrusion. With the seat of the rotary shaft being semi-circular and the guiding portion being semi-spherical, when the rotary shaft is rotated, the guiding surface and the at least one protrusion coordinate with each other to rotate. The rotary shaft has reduced volume. Accordingly, the ceiling fan having the rotary shaft is lightweight, has reduced power consumption and manufacturing cost, and is easy for installation.
Impeller rotor configured with wear resistant seal land
An assembly is provided for a turbine engine. This turbine engine assembly includes an impeller rotor, a seal land and a lip seal. The impeller rotor is configured to rotate about a rotational axis. The impeller rotor is configured from or otherwise includes impeller rotor material. The seal land extends axially along and circumferentially about the rotational axis. The seal land is mechanically attached to and rotatable with the impeller rotor. The seal land is configured from or otherwise includes seal land material that is different than the impeller rotor material. The lip seal radially engages the seal land.
Impeller rotor configured with wear resistant seal land
An assembly is provided for a turbine engine. This turbine engine assembly includes an impeller rotor, a seal land and a lip seal. The impeller rotor is configured to rotate about a rotational axis. The impeller rotor is configured from or otherwise includes impeller rotor material. The seal land extends axially along and circumferentially about the rotational axis. The seal land is mechanically attached to and rotatable with the impeller rotor. The seal land is configured from or otherwise includes seal land material that is different than the impeller rotor material. The lip seal radially engages the seal land.
Mechanical seal assembly with safety seal
The invention relates to a mechanical seal assembly comprising a mechanical seal (2) comprising a rotating mechanical seal (20) and a stationary mechanical seal (21) defining a sealing gap (22) therebetween, and a one-piece safety seal (3) provided as a redundant seal in the event of failure of the mechanical seal (2) and adapted to seal at a rotating component, the safety seal (3) comprising a base body (30) and a sealing area (31) projecting from the base body (30) in the axial direction (X-X) and being flexible, a thickness of the sealing area (31) in the radial direction being smaller than a thickness of the base body (30) in the radial direction, and the safety seal (3) being arranged in a stationary manner and comprising a sealing surface (32) on an inner circumference.

A rotary machine includes a rotating shaft which is rotatably provided around an axis, a casing which covers the rotating shaft from an outside in a radial direction and in which a gas flow path extending in a circumferential direction is formed, a drain pipe which is connected to a lower portion in a vertical direction of the casing and communicates with the gas flow path, an adjusting valve which is provided in the drain pipe and adjusts a flow state of a fluid in the drain pipe, and a gas flow pipe which is connected to the drain pipe at a position closer to a connection portion between the casing and the drain pipe than the adjusting valve and through which the seal gas flows.

A rotary machine includes a rotating shaft which is rotatably provided around an axis, a casing which covers the rotating shaft from an outside in a radial direction and in which a gas flow path extending in a circumferential direction is formed, a drain pipe which is connected to a lower portion in a vertical direction of the casing and communicates with the gas flow path, an adjusting valve which is provided in the drain pipe and adjusts a flow state of a fluid in the drain pipe, and a gas flow pipe which is connected to the drain pipe at a position closer to a connection portion between the casing and the drain pipe than the adjusting valve and through which the seal gas flows.

The plurality of window openings may be configured to provide access to the seal for installation of a melting member to secure the seal shoes in an outboard direction during installation.
