Impeller and motor assembly

A lightweight impeller is provided for use in a pressurised gas source for a CPAP or other breathing assistance apparatus. The impeller can be shroudless or otherwise lightweight.

CENTRIFUGAL FAN

A centrifugal fan is formed from an impeller installed within a casing. The impeller is formed from two plates that are interconnected by a plurality of blades. A duct extends through each blade. At each of its ends, the duct opens at one of the plates. Air enters the fan from through a central opening formed in one of the plates, moves to a medial zone between the plates, and exits the fan at the medial zone's unwalled periphery. Air also crosses the fan by way of the ducts formed within each blade.

An integral fan blade includes a fan blade connecting disk and a plurality of fan blade bodies arranged around and equidistantly surrounding the fan blade connecting disk. The fan blade bodies and the fan blade connecting disk are integrally formed. This design allows the wind angle to cover a cone-shaped area from top to bottom. Under the same specifications, the wind force is relatively larger than ordinary conventional fan blades, and the coverage area is also larger, thus bringing better blowing effect and better use effect to users.

CENTRIFUGAL BLOWER

A centrifugal blower includes a centrifugal fan and a separation cylinder. The centrifugal fan has a separation plate. The separation cylinder is disposed inward of the blades in the radial direction of the centrifugal fan. The separation plate has an inner end surface extending from the one side to the other side in the axial direction at a position of an inner end in the radial direction. The separation cylinder has a separation cylinder end surface extending from the one side to the other side in the axial direction at a position of an end on the other side in the axial direction. A height of one of the separation cylinder end surface and the inner end surface in the axial direction is larger than a height of the other of the separation cylinder end surface and the inner end surface in the axial direction.

CROSS-FLOW FAN

A cross-flow fan, and blades of a cross-flow fan are provided. The cross-flow fan includes a rotary shaft; a plurality of blades that extends in a direction parallel to the rotary shaft and having a positive pressure surface and a negative pressure surface; and a connector that connects the rotary shaft and the plurality of blades. At least one protrusion that protrudes in a thickness direction and extends in a longitudinal direction of the plurality of blades is formed on the plurality of blades, and by means of the at least one protrusion formed on a blade surface, a flow separation phenomenon caused by friction with the blade surface is suppressed, thereby reducing noise generated by the cross-flow fan.

The aspects of the disclosed embodiments are directed to a fan for displacing a fluid, which fan includes a rotor rotating around its axis of rotation and surfaces, such as blades, forming a flow when the rotor rotates. The rotor is arranged to displace fluid simultaneously with at least two different flows (F1, F2).

CENTRIFUGAL FAN

A centrifugal fan is disclosed and includes a housing, a fan wheel, a first throat portion and a second throat portion. The housing includes a lower cover connected to an upper cover through a peripheral wall to form an accommodation space and an outlet. The upper cover includes an inlet communicated with the outlet. The fan wheel is disposed on the lower cover and accommodated in the accommodation space. The fan wheel is rotated along a rotation direction. The first throat portion is disposed adjacent to a lateral end of the outlet and protrudes from the peripheral wall toward the accommodation space. The second throat portion is disposed adjacent to another lateral end of the outlet, and protrudes from the peripheral wall toward the accommodation space. When the fan wheel is rotated along the rotational direction, an airflow is guided from the first throat portion to the second throat portion.

Centrifugal blower

A centrifugal blower includes an outer rotor, and a turbo fan. The turbo fan includes blades, an other end plate, and a cylinder portion. The cylinder portion is located inside the other end plate, and is fixed to the outer rotor. A surface of the outer rotor configures a rotor guide surface that guides an air flow toward a channel provided between adjacent blades. Each blade has a leading edge side portion located radially inside the cylinder portion. An outer end portion of the rotor guide surface in the radial direction is located at the same position in the axial direction as a one side cylinder end portion of the cylinder portion in the axial direction, in a state where a rotor contact portion of the outer rotor and a blade contact portion of the leading edge side portion are in contact with each other.

Rotary drive for an impeller and motor assembly with gas and rolling bearings arranged in housing structure

The present embodiment comprises: a rotary shaft; a rotor mounted on the rotary shaft; a stator for encompassing the outer circumference of the rotor; an impeller mounted on the rotary shaft so as to be spaced from the rotor; a bearing housing having a through-hole through which the rotary shaft passes; a rolling bearing disposed in the bearing housing and coupled to the rotary shaft; and a gas bearing disposed in the bearing housing so as to be spaced from the rolling bearing in an axial direction, and facing the outer circumference of the rotary shaft.
