The impeller can have an impeller hub and a plurality of impeller blades extending radially outward from the impeller hub. The assembly can include an impeller motor configured to rotate the impeller blades about an axis of rotation. A stator can be positioned within the outer housing between the impeller and the outlet of the outer housing. The stator can include a plurality of vanes. The stator vanes can include an upstream edge at the upstream end of the stator, a first surface extending from the upstream edge to the downstream edge of the vane, and a second surface opposite the first surface and extending from the upstream edge to the downstream edge of vane. A plurality of the vanes can have a downstream edge at the outlet of the outer housing.
EASILY CLEANABLE WATERPROOF FAN AND HUMIDIFIER USING THE SAME
A waterproof fan according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a blade module configured to be operated by a motor; and a frame having an accommodation hole that accommodates the blade module, the frame being formed to surround the accommodation hole, and the frame includes an opening that opens a part of the accommodation hole.
Gas turbine engine with high speed low pressure turbine section and bearing support features
A gas turbine engine includes a very high speed low pressure turbine such that a quantity defined by the exit area of the low pressure turbine multiplied by the square of the low pressure turbine rotational speed compared to the same parameters for the high pressure turbine is at a ratio between about 0.5 and about 1.5. The high pressure turbine is supported by a bearing positioned at a point where the first shaft connects to a hub carrying turbine rotors associated with the second turbine section.
Low weight large fan gas turbine engine
A gas turbine engine includes a fan with a plurality of fan blades rotatable about an axis, a compressor section, a combustor in fluid communication with the compressor section, and a turbine section in fluid communication with the combustor. The fan defines a fan diameter and the turbine section includes a fan drive turbine with a diameter less than 0.50 the size of the fan diameter. A geared architecture is driven by the turbine section for rotating the fan about the axis.
REVERSIBLE FAN
Provided is a reversible fan including: a fin configured to produce a current of air in both of a normal direction and a reverse direction; an impeller configured to be rotatable about a rotation axis; a motor configured to rotate the impeller; and a tubular frame housing the impeller and the motor, wherein the fin has a shape that allows producing louder noise upon producing the current of air in the normal direction than upon producing the current of air in the reverse direction, and protrudes inward in a radial direction from an inner peripheral surface of the frame.
Engine having variable pitch outlet guide vanes
An un-ducted turbofan engine defining a radial direction and an axial direction that includes a core engine, a fan, a plurality of variable outlet guide vanes, and a pitch change mechanism. Each of the plurality of variable outlet guide vanes are attached in a rotatable manner to the core engine of the un-ducted turbofan engine. The pitch change mechanism is positioned radially between the engine air flowpath and the plurality of variable outlet guide vanes and coupled to at least one variable outlet guide vane of the plurality of variable outlet guide vanes for changing a pitch of the at least one variable outlet guide vane.
Bladed disk flexible in the lower part of the blades
The invention relates to a bladed disk (1) of a fan, comprising: a hub (10) comprising an outer radial platform (13) designed so as to define an inner gas flow stream in the turbomachine, a plurality of blades (20) comprising a root (23) connected to the platform (13), a leading edge (21) and a trailing edge (22), a groove formed in the platform (13) around part of the root (23) of each blade (20) in an area adjacent to the leading edge (21) and/or the trailing edge (22), and a joint (30) placed in the groove (15) in such a way that it extends in the extension of the radially outer face (14) of the platform (13) in order to ensure a continuity of the inner flow stream.
Fan
A fan includes a support, a motor mounted at the support and including a first rotation shaft, a first blade mounted at one end of the first rotation shaft, a transmission mechanism mounted at the support and connected to another end of the first rotation shaft, and a second blade. The transmission mechanism includes a second rotation shaft. A rotation direction of the second rotation shaft is opposite to a rotation direction of the first rotation shaft. The second blade is mounted at the second rotation shaft. A tilt direction of the first blade is opposite to a tilt direction of the second blade.
Window Fan
A dual window fan having a rectangular body adapted to engage a window, two fan heads pivotably engaging the body independently of each other about a vertical pivot axis from aiming directly outwardly normal to the body to aiming inwardly through a pivot angle of at least 225 angular degrees.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUS FOR BLOWING OUT BIRTHDAY CANDLES
Methods and apparatus for blowing out birthday candles are presented. The apparatus may include a rotor comprising at least two blades and attachable to a wind-up launcher for imparting a rotational impulse to the rotor. Each blade of the rotor may include a blade scoop extending from a central hub of the rotor to an outer safety ring positioned around an outer circumference of the rotor and coupled to each of the central hub and the outer safety ring. The blade scoop may have a convex shaped leading edge. The blade may also include a blade overhang for pushing air from the blade scoop out from the rotor. The blade overhang may have a trailing edge positioned below the central hub, with a portion of the blade forming the trailing edge having a tangent that is angled between 30 and 60 degrees below a plane of the outer safety ring.
