Water heater blower housing, impeller, and static tap system
A blower has a blower housing of clamshell construction, including two housing members having a scroll back wall molded with radial draft, an impeller and a motor within the housing, and a static tap connected to the housing. The impeller has a backplate with a backplate back surface region of substantially the same radially converging shape as that of a front surface region of the scroll back wall formed by the radial draft, providing a substantially uniform axial gap between the backplate back surface region and the scroll back wall. The impeller has a ring connected by a skirt to the back plate to define a stepped area behind the ring. The impeller includes impeller blades extending forwardly from the impeller backplate and the ring and back fins extending rearwardly from the ring. The blower has a scroll width of about twice an impeller exhaust width.
Compressor joint
A compressor housing for a turbocharger may include an outer volute having an outer volute inner surface with a clamp groove defined therein, and an inner volute having an inner volute outer surface and an axially facing surface. The inner volute is inserted into the outer volute through the outer volute inner surface with the inner volute outer surface facing the outer volute inner surface. The inner volute is positioned with the axially facing surface disposed axially inward of the clamp groove. A clamp plate includes a radially outward portion inserted into the clamp groove and a radially inward portion extending downward past the inner volute outer surface. The clamp groove and the axially facing surface engage the clamp plate to retain the inner volute within the outer volute when an axial load is applied to the inner volute.
Vacuum pump
The present disclosure provides a vacuum pump with which size and weight reduction, improvement of workability, and cost reduction can be realized. Electrical connection between a pump main body that has a rotor supported by a magnetic bearing and a control unit that controls the drive of the pump main body is established by a flexible printed wiring board configured by printing an electric circuit on a surface of a sheet-like insulating substrate.
Housing arrangement for a blower motor
A housing arrangement has a blower motor including a rotation shaft that traverses through an underside and a topside of the blower motor, the rotation shaft being configured to mount a fan impeller thereupon, a first housing part that receives the blower motor, a second housing part that covers the blower motor received in the first housing part, a first decoupling unit arranged circumferentially between the underside of the blower motor and an inner bottom of the first housing part, and a second decoupling unit arranged circumferentially between the topside of the blower motor and an inner surface of the second housing part. Here, the spring stiffness of the first and the second decoupling units are substantially constant in an axial direction, a radial direction, or a normal direction.
Method of repair to compressor housing and repaired housing
A method of repairing a compressor outlet housing includes the steps of obtaining a damaged compressor outlet housing having a radially outer volute, a radially inwardly extending finger extending to an axially extending ledge, a radially inwardly extending web extending radially inwardly from the ledge, and a radially inner bearing support defining a bore. The method identifies a damaged section within at least one of the bearing support, the web, and the ledge, and removes at least the bearing support and the web to leave a remaining part. The method then inserts an insert having at least a replacement bearing support and a replacement web into the remaining part after the removal step. The method then welds the insert to the remaining part to provide a repaired compressor housing. A method of replacing a compressor outlet housing and a replacement compressor outlet housing are also disclosed.
ROTATING MACHINERY
There is provided a rotating machinery including: a rotating body R which is rotatable around an axis O and has a first facing surface P1 that widens in a plane intersecting the axis O; a stationary body S which faces the first facing surface P1 from the axial direction O, and has a second facing surface P2 forming a flow path F1 through which a fluid flows from a radially inner side toward the radially outer side between the first facing surface P1 and the second facing surface P2; and a rotation side projection portion 80 which projects from the first facing surface P1 toward the second facing surface P2, has an annular shape around the axis O, and faces the second facing surface P2 via a clearance C.
Blower housing assembly structure
A blower housing assembly structure includes a locking base formed by aluminum die casting and two opposite casing covers disposed on both sides of the locking base respectively. The locking base has two opposite side connecting plates, each having a connection part formed at the top of the side connecting plate, and a side of each casing cover has an intake vent, and the two casing covers have two opposite half-extended pipe sections extending from the edges of the locking base connection part respectively, so that the half-extended pipe sections of the two casing covers are engaged to form an exhaust vent of a housing. This invention has the advantages of simple structure, easy assembling, effective alignment and high stability and the effects of preventing damages by vibration and reducing the noise during operation.
Centrifugal compressor and refrigerating device
A centrifugal compressor and a refrigerating device. The compressor includes: a shell, which has a fluid inlet at a first position of the shell, and a fluid outlet at a second position of the shell, a motor assembly, which is arranged in the shell and includes a stator and a rotor, the rotor including a vertically arranged rotor shaft, and the rotor shaft including a lower end and an upper end; a centrifugal compression mechanism, an impeller of which is connected with the rotor shaft so as to be driven by the motor assembly; and a guide member, which is located above the centrifugal compression mechanism, and which defines a flow passage alone or together with a top part of the shell.
Systems and methods for turbocharger
Methods and systems are provided for a turbocharger. In one example, a method may include flowing bleed air to control a catalyst temperature. The bleed air is directed from a bleed port of a compressor of an engine system.
IMPELLER SHROUD FREQUENCY TUNING RIB
A frequency tuning rib is provided on an impeller shroud to alter a natural frequency of the shroud so as to avoid coincidence with the aerodynamic excitation frequencies to which the shroud is exposed during engine operation.
