Ventilation device and vehicle with a ventilation device

A ventilation device has a holder, in particular a ventilation frame, with a substantially circular continuous opening for receiving a ventilation wheel rotating about the central axis, thereof. The opening is bordered by an edge face running substantially cylinder-symmetrically about the central axis. As the edge face in two separate, diametrically opposed peripheral sections the radius is at least partly enlarged in comparison to the cylinder-symmetrical form in the remaining peripheral sections, and/or a circular projection of she edge face, which projection projects radially inwards, is axially offset away from a space provided for the ventilation wheel. Because of she corresponding shaping of the edge face of the opening, contact and/or development of noise between the ventilation wheel and the edge of the opening is prevented in the ventilation frame in the event of a yawing of the ventilation wheel.

STALL MARGIN IMPROVEMENT OF ROTOR FAN AND HOUSING FOR A VANEAXIAL BLOWER SYSTEM

A vaneaxial blower system having a stator and a rotor is disclosed. Each of the stator and rotor have a hub and blades, each of the blades have a leading edge and a trailing edge, an angle theta defined by a line extending from the respective leading edges to the respective trailing edges and the respective hub and an angle beta defined as an angle measured between a camber line between a first blade and a second blade and a horizontal tangential line that extends through respective leading edges of the first and second blade.

Turbocharged engine employing cylinder deactivation

A method of operating a gasoline engine having a first subset of cylinders and a second subset of cylinders includes providing a flow of compressed air from a single-sequential compressor to the engine, selectively deactivating the first subset of cylinders, and igniting gasoline mixed with the compressed air in the second subset of cylinders. The single-sequential compressor includes a dual sided impeller having a first blade arrangement in fluid communication with a first air inlet, and an opposing second blade arrangement in fluid communication with a second air inlet. Additionally, deactivating the first subset of cylinders includes sealing the first subset of cylinders such that the flow of compressed air is provided only to the second subset of cylinders.

Air circulator

An air circulator includes a blower unit that is provided with an airflow opening on a front side of the blower unit. A grill is provided in the airflow opening, and is provided with airflow guide blades in a spiral manner Each of the airflow guide blades is convex toward an airflow direction between its inner end portion and its outer end portion to form the grill three-dimensionally. The grill further includes a circular ring that intersects with the airflow guide blades.

SERVICE ROUTING CONFIGURATION FOR A GAS TURBINE ENGINE DIFFUSER SYSTEM

Provided is a radial diffuser that includes a housing, a plurality of diffuser vanes, and a plurality of deswirl vanes and at least one vane extension providing a service routing. Each of the vane extensions is disposed after a radial section and may extend into or through a transition and into the deswirl cascade. At least a portion of the vane extensions include a service passage extending therethrough. Each service passage is configured to allow a service conduit to extend therethrough without adversely crossing either a diffusion flow passage or a transition flow passage.

COMPACT AIR MOVING DEVICE

An air moving device includes an outer casing comprising an outer diameter, an inner portion defining a flow path, an inlet portion defining an inlet cross-sectional area, and an opposing outlet portion defining an outlet cross-sectional area. A motor assembly is disposed within the outer casing, and a hub and blade assembly is secured to a shaft on the motor assembly. The air moving device further includes a de-swirl vane package. The package includes a plurality of de-swirl vanes disposed in the flow path. The blades are characterized by one or more resonant frequencies, and a potential excitation source of the blade resonant frequencies is a flow path obstruction comprising a plurality of objects substantially equally spaced about the circumference of the flow path. The flow path obstruction is characterized by a periodic frequency. The periodic frequency differs from the blade resonant frequencies by a safety margin of at least 20%.

Stator structure and motor

A stator structure and a motor are provided, including an air duct housing. A fixing part is coaxially disposed in the air duct housing and configured to install a motor assembly, connecting components disposed between the air duct housing and the fixing part fix a relative position between the air duct housing and the fixing part, a position of a mounting inlet of the fixing part is on the same side as a position of a fan blade assembly of the air duct housing, an end of the fixing part far away from the mounting inlet is provided with a mounting end cover. By setting the mounting inlet of the fixing part and the fan blade assembly of the air duct housing on the same side, processing of surfaces A, B and C can be completed by one processing without secondary processing, therefore ensuring coaxiality and accuracy of the processing.
