The adjustment assembly includes a drive device and an actuator which can be activated externally of the pump, the drive device being operable to cause the relative displacement of the side part in response to activation of said actuator, the relative displacement capable of being a combination of axial and rotational movement.
MULTI-STAGE HORIZONTAL CENTRIFUGAL PUMP FOR CONVEYING A FLUID AND A METHOD FOR REPAIRING THE SAME
A multi-stage horizontal centrifugal pump for conveying a fluid has a rotor including a rotatably arranged shaft and a plurality of impellers for conveying the fluid and a stator. All the impellers are arranged in a rotatably fixed manner on the shaft. The stator includes a plurality of stage casings, which are arranged consecutively one after another with respect to an axial direction determined by a central axis. The stator encompasses the rotor, and each stage casing is designed and arranged centrically with respect to the central axis. A plurality of wear rings is disposed between the rotor and the stator, each of which is fixed with respect to the stator, and surrounds the rotor with a clearance. At least one of the wear rings is designed eccentrically.
Radial compressor for an exhaust gas turbocharger
The invention relates to a radial compressor (1) for an exhaust gas turbocharger, in particular of an internal combustion engine, with a compressor housing (2) comprising an axial inlet channel (3) and a radial outlet channel (4), with a compressor wheel (6) for delivering and compressing a gas, wherein the compressor wheel (6) has an axial inlet side (7) facing the inlet channel (3), a radial outlet side (8) facing the outlet channel (4) and an axial wheel surface contour (9), which extends from the inlet side (6) as far as to the outlet side (7), with an adapter element (10) which is substantially designed sleeve-like, which can be axially introduced into a fastening section (11) provided on the compressor housing (2), wherein the adapter element (10) at least in sections has a surface contour (13), which is designed substantially complementarily to the axial wheel surface contour (9), so that by axially moving the adapter element (10) in the fastening section (11) a gap width (w) of a passage gap (14) axially formed between the adapter element (10) and the compressor wheel (6) along the surface contours (9, 13) facing one another can be adjusted.
Centrifugal pump, a shaft therefor and a sleeve for coupling the shaft of a centrifugal pump to a shaft of a drive motor
The present invention relates to a centrifugal pump, especially to a close coupled centrifugal pump. The centrifugal pump (10) comprises a shaft (18) coupled with the shaft (20) of the electric drive motor by means of a separate threaded coupling sleeve (24). The threaded coupling sleeve (24) is coupled with the shaft (20) of the drive motor by means of a key (34) and an adjusting nut (26).
Adjustment mechanism for pump seal
An adjustment mechanism (85) for a seal assembly (80) for a pump drive shaft (52) of a pump, the pump shaft (52) mounted for rotation about a rotation axis. The seal assembly (80) comprises a rotating seal (81) mounted for rotation with the drive shaft (52) about the rotation axis and a static seal (84) adjacent the rotating seal (81) and axially moveable relative thereto. The adjustment mechanism (85) comprises an adjustment member (87) which is axially moveable so as to cause axial movement of the static seal (84) relative to the rotating seal (81). The mechanism further includes an actuator (88) and a transmission (93) for transmitting a motive force from the actuator to the adjustment member as a result of activation of the actuator. The transmission (93) is operatively connected to the adjustment member (87) at two spaced apart couplings (98) whereby activation of the actuator causes simultaneous transmission of the motive force to the two spaced apart couplings. The actuator (88) is disposed externally of all pump parts.
Low-wear slurry pump
A centrifugal pump for a slurry combines design changes with respect to conventional configurations that produce quasi-laminar flow and materially extend the life of the casing. The cutwater clearance of the casing is increased to a range of 0.20 to 0.25 times the diameter of the impeller. The casing includes a redesigned removable annular liner with a diameter increased to at least 1.15 times the diameter of the impeller. The pump preferably also has an axially adjustable wear ring with a diameter increased such that it extends by at least 10% over the diameter of the area of interface between the wear ring and the impeller.
Mainline electric oil pump assembly and method for assembling same
The mainline electric oil pump assembly relates to the field of assemblies for pumping oil in main oil pipelines. The aim of the present invention is to create a mainline electric oil pump assembly with improved technical and economic characteristics, reduced noise and vibrations, and increased reliability, service life and performance. The main distinguishing features of the proposed assembly which contribute to the achievement of the aforementioned aim are: the non-splined, zero-backlash seating of the impeller on a smooth shaft, the use of roller bearings seated in a non-splined, zero-backlash fashion on the smooth shaft, the use of mechanical seals seated in a non-splined, zero-backlash fashion on the smooth shaft, the use of self-correcting adjustable spherical supports under the supporting feet of the pump, and the boring of the seating surfaces of the pump housing for the rotor in a single set-up operation.
