The at least one seal assembly also includes at least one sealing-device-holding device configured to hold the at least one sealing device in an axially secured fashion with respect to the central axis and which includes at least one main holding body.

Disclosed is an embodiment of a dual seal arrangement for the high-speed shaft of a supercharger with a centrifugal compressor and a mechanical speed step-down transmission to the shaft. A ring located about the shaft splits the rotational speed of the shaft between two seals, so that each seal spins at a speed of roughly half the speed of the shaft. The arrangement can also be used to split the shaft speed between two bearings in the same manner. The high-speed shaft may also have a turbine attached, to form a driven turbocharger.

A direct current induced draft fan includes: a volute, a wind wheel, a motor, and a locking assembly. The motor includes a motor body and a motor controller. The motor is disposed on the top of the volute, and the wind wheel is disposed in the volute. The motor is configured to drive the wind wheel to rotate. The motor controller is disposed on one side of the motor body and is fixed on the motor body through the locking assembly. The side wall of the motor controller extends from the motor body towards the volute.

A turbocharger is provided including a housing with a turbine and a compressor disposed in the housing. A central shaft is connected between the turbine and the compressor and is rotatably supported by a first journal bearing disposed within the housing at a location adjacent to the turbine and a second journal bearing disposed within the housing at a location adjacent to the compressor. A spacer is disposed directly between and adjacent to the first journal bearing and the second journal bearing and is neither coupled to or integrally formed with the first journal bearing.

The universal housing includes a body, a suction port extending from the body, a discharge port extending from the body, and a first compartment within the body. The first compartment includes a suction inlet in flow communication with the suction port and a discharge outlet in flow communication with the discharge port. The first compartment is configured to receive more than one staging length for the staging. The staging inlet is in flow communication with the suction inlet and the staging outlet is in flow communication with the discharge outlet.
