Filter mounts for a portable fan and methods for mounting a filter to a portable fan
A filter frame is removably attachable to a box fan. The filter frame is adapted for receiving a standard HVAC-style filter for removing contaminants from air flow induced by the fan. In this manner, a cost-effective means for filtering a flow of air is provided for residential and commercial settings. The filter frame is adaptable to a variety of standard box fan types of different styles and dimensions. The frame is configured to accommodate standard filters, such as those readily available from retail hardware stores and home centers.
Centrifugal Blower
A disclosed centrifugal blower comprises: a centrifugal fan; a scroll casing which is configured so as to surround the centrifugal fan, has an air inlet on at least one surface thereof, has an air outlet on one side thereof, and guides, to the air outlet, air discharged from the centrifugal fan; an expansion part which is provided at the air outlet and is configured such that the cross-sectional area of the flow path is expanded in the air discharge direction; and a dividing plate which is provided in the expansion part, is arranged at the outside of the air outlet and is arranged lengthwise along the flow direction of the air discharged from the air outlet.
AIR CLEANER
An air flow controller for an air cleaner and an air cleaner are provided. The air flow controller may include a fan, and a housing, the fan being provided in the housing and the housing being movable from an initial horizontal position in which the air flow controller directs air flow in a vertical direction to an inclined position in which the air flow controller directs air flow in a diagonal direction.
AIR CLEANER
An air cleaner is provided that may include at least one blowing device including a main fan that generates air flow and a first discharge outlet through which air passing through the main fan is discharged; a flow controller movably provided at one side of the at least one blowing device, the flow controller including a sub-fan that generates air flow and a discharge grill through which air passing through the sub-fan is discharged; and a display provided in the discharge grill, the display device displaying operation information.
Motor suspension for fans, preferably axial-flow fans, as well as method for manufacturing an air grille of such a motor suspension
A motor suspension for fans has an air grille with radially extending braces and grille rings that are positioned coaxially to each other and are connected to each other by the radially extending braces. For adapting the motor suspension to a vibration behavior of a fan, at least one of a feature selected from a number of the braces and a diameter of the braces is varied to effect a reduction of acoustic noises and/or natural resonances of the motor suspension. The number of the braces that are preferably made of metal is preferably unequal to the number of vanes of the fan.
Axial fan
An axial fan, including: a wind deflector including a cavity; a motor; a plurality of blades circumferentially disposed on the motor; and a grid mesh disposed on one end face of the wind deflector. The motor and the plurality of blades are disposed in the cavity. The grid mesh includes a central part provided with a fixed platform. The motor is disposed on the fixed platform.
PORTABLE POWER WORKING MACHINE
Provided is a portable power working machine in which suction of clothing to a safety guard can be reliably prevented and the amount of a portion protruding laterally from one side surface portion of a fan case can be reduced so as to enable a required air blowing performance to be obtained without causing an increase in size or weight or deterioration of the operability thereof. A suction port for inhaling air is provided on one side surface portion of a fan case of an air blower, and a safety guard is provided in the suction port. Further, the one side surface portion of the fan case has attached thereto a block prevention guard that has a top surface portion with a top surface opening facing the suction port, three leg portions for allowing the top surface opening to face the suction port with a predetermined distance therebetween, and a lattice provided in the top surface opening. Furthermore, the average opening area of apertures of the lattice in the top surface opening of the block prevention guard is larger than that of the apertures of the lattice of the safety guard.
CONCENTRICALLY SYMMETRIC CONNECTOR IN BLIND MATE ROUND FAN ASSEMBLY
A fan assembly system includes two or more circular fans, each fan situated in a round fan assembly, where each fan can be situated in the round fan assembly in any orientation. The system also includes a concentrically symmetric connector for each circular fan, located in a center of each circular fan. The system also includes a latching mechanism for each circular fan, where the latching mechanism is wholly contained within a swept area of a fan blade of the circular fan. The circular fans are arranged in a staggered arrangement, and the staggered arrangement of circular fans increases a number of circular fans that can be placed in the fan assembly system compared to a non-staggered arrangement.
ADAPTOR WITH IMPROVED AIRFLOW
An adaptor is disclosed for connecting a rotating electrical machine 12 to a prime mover 10. The adaptor comprises at least one air outlet. The adaptor is arranged to provide an increase in a cross-sectional area of air flow towards the outlet. In this way part of the dynamic pressure can be converted into additional static pressure rise through steady expansion of the air flow cross-section. This in turn may help to improve the overall amount of cooling air passing through the machine for a given fan input power.
Livestock Blower Apparatus
A livestock blower apparatus for blowing air through a flexible hose onto an animal. A pair of blower units are enclosed within an interior space of a housing. The blower units are adapted to draw air through housing inlet openings and force it through a Y-shaped conduit out through a housing outlet opening without the air coming in contact with the housing interior space. A cooling fan is provided at a housing cooling inlet opening and blows air into the housing interior space. Another cooling fan is provided at a housing cooling outlet opening and draws/blows air out from within the housing interior space. The blower units are thereby protected from the elements and noise generated by them is muffled by the housing, and the blower units are cooled for minimizing the heat that may be transferred to the air being blown onto the animal.
