Compressed air operated fluid pump applied to oil wells
10415603 · 2019-09-17 ·

The present invention is constructed for use with oil field pumps. The disclosed fluid pump is an apparatus that can replace conventional mechanical jack pumps, which are often problematic and inefficient during use. The present invention is a down hole fluid pump, which carries fluid upward by means of, a two phase flow of a compressed gas, and fluid. The fluid may be an admixture of petroleum oil and water. The compressed gas is generally air, but other gases may be applied. The inventive pump comprises multiple air lines, which allow serial connectivity with multiple oil wells. Multiple donut shaped magnets comprise the inventive fluid pump assembly, which facilitate effective and efficient fluid pump operation.

ASSEMBLY AND SYSTEM FOR PUMPING A VOLUME OF FLUID THROUGH A BODY OF WATER
20190277274 · 2019-09-12 ·

An assembly and system for pumping a volume of fluid over a body of water, comprising a shell (12) defining a volumetric space within a vessel (10) in which air is extractible from and introducible into, an opening (18) to allow air to be extracted from and supplied into the vessel (10) to allow fluid to be drawn in and expelled from the vessel (10), a first valve (16a) and a second valve (16b) to permit and restrict fluid entering and exiting the vessel (10) and a pump (20) to extract and introduce air from and into the vessel (10) to cause fluid to be drawn into and expelled out of the vessel (10). The vessel (10) floats in the body of water.

Vacuum Installation for industrial vacuum processes

The invention relates to a vacuum installation for industrial application, the installation comprising a first vessel having a first gas inlet for allowing a gaseous substance into the first vessel and a first outlet for depletion of a material, a second vessel having a second inlet for aspirating a quantity of material and a second gas outlet for depletion of the gaseous substance, wherein the gaseous substance comprises a vapour generated from the material, a storage chamber for storing the quantity of material, the storage chamber having a third inlet, wherein at least the first vessel communicates with an interior of the storage chamber via the first outlet and the third inlet; and a vacuum pump located in between the first vessel and the second vessel, and operated to lower the pressure in the second vessel, thereby allowing the material to be sucked into the second vessel via the second liquid inlet to an equilibrium level between the material and the gaseous substance, the vacuum pump being further operated to transport the gaseous substance to the first vessel to raise the pressure in the first vessel, thereby forcing the material in the first vessel into the storage chamber.

PUMPING APPARATUS, TREATMENT SOLUTION SUPPLYING DEVICE, SUBSTRATE TREATING APPARATUS, LIQUID DRAINING METHOD, AND LIQUID REPLACING METHOD

A chamber has at least three openings, or a first opening, a second opening, and a third opening formed therein that are in communication with a reservoir. The second opening is higher in level than the first opening. The third opening is used for discharging a liquid within the reservoir by introducing gas through at least one of the first opening and the second opening into the reservoir. Since the third opening is the lowest in level among the three openings, the liquid stored in the reservoir is able to be drained easily.

A hydraulic compressed air energy storage system includes air and liquid tanks, each of which includes interdependent volumes of liquid and air. Each tank includes dedicated passages through which incoming air may be fed, forcing outflow of liquid, or incoming liquid may be fed, forcing outflow of air. Compressed air tanks are connected to a first group of the air and liquid tanks. The system further includes a pump and a liquid turbine, the liquid turbine being electrically connected to a generator for generating electric power. During charging of the system, liquid is pumped through the first group of air and liquid tanks, and air is expelled from the first group of air and liquid tanks and compressed in the compressed air tanks. During discharging of the system, compressed air is released from the compressed air tanks, and said compressed air pumps liquid through the liquid turbine, thereby generating electricity.
