WIND TURBINE WITH DIRECTLY DRIVEN GENERATOR
A wind turbine system includes a wind turbine which has a wind turbine shaft rotatable around an axis, and a generator. The generator has shaft, a stator positioned on a machine housing, and a rotor interacting with the stator. The shaft of the generator and the wind turbine shaft are formed as one piece and/or are coupled to each other in axially aligned relationship. The wind turbine and the generator are mounted exclusively by two main bearings on the wind turbine shaft in a machine housing on top of a tower of the wind turbine system.
TURBINE ASSEMBLY
An apparatus for generating electricity from water flow held behind a barrier includes a convergent section connected to a first end of a mixing tube such that a venturi is defined between the end of the convergent section and the mixing tube; a diffuser section connected to a second end of the mixing tube, the diffuser section configured such that the pressure at the exit of the diffuser section is greater than the pressure at the venturi; and a turbine tube comprising a blade assembly having a plurality of blades. The turbine tube is supported in the convergent section and is rotatably mounted, the blades being attached to the inner surface of turbine tube such that water flow past the blades drives the rotation of the turbine tube.
Mini notched turbine generator
The present invention is turbine generator capable of integration into a bio-physiological or microfluidic system. The generator can convert biomechanical energy into electrical energy by using electromagnetic subsystems to transform the kinetic energy to electricity. These systems have the potential to convert hydraulic energy (such as flow of body fluid, blood flow, contraction of blood vessel, dynamic fluid in nature) into electric energy that may be sufficient for self-powering nano/micro devices and systems, such as artificial organs, valves, sensors, micro motors, and micro robots. The system incorporates a new turbine model having, notched blades; a rotor in levitation; and a special casing capable of integration into a bio-physiological or microfluidic system.
Method and Apparatus for Permanent Magnet Attachment in an Electromechanical Machine
An apparatus and method for the installation and removal of permanent magnets in a permanent magnet electromechanical machine, for example a wind turbine power unit generator. A magnet holder is mounted on a magnet carrying structure such as a rotor. Permanent magnets may be inserted into and removed from the magnet holder after the electromechanical machine is assembled. The magnet holders define passages for airflow between the inside top and magnet surface. In this manner, permanent magnets may be installed on the magnet carrying structure and provided with additional cooling via said passages. Further, the holders may be configured to secure the magnets by an interference fit, without using bolts or adhesives, to facilitate both assembly and removal for maintenance and repair.
Wind turbine
A wind turbine includes a turbine housing, a turbine wheel system housed in the turbine housing, and a wind power converting system for converting kinetic energy generated by the turbine wheel system into electrical energy. The turbine wheel system includes a turbine rotor being driven to rotate circumferentially around an interior of the turbine housing, and a rail frame guiding a rotational movement of a turbine rotor. The wind turbine not only allows airflow to move across and through the turbine wheel system but also allows airflow to be directed and exhausted to maximize and control energy generation. The wind turbine is able to efficiently convert wind power to electrical power via a turbine wheel system which allows for the load generated to be distributed across the circumference of the turbine wheel system instead of localized in the center as the traditional wind turbine.
Convenient human and animal power drive permanent magnet power generation and storage system
The invention discloses a convenient human and animal power drive permanent magnet power generation and storage system, comprising a grip power drive power generation system; the grip power drive power generation system is a dumbbell-shaped grip power generation device, comprising a grip handle and power generation devices provided at both ends of the grip handle; the power generation device is composed of a permanent magnet generator, a tensioning wheel, a spring sheet, a winder ratchet device, and a battery; folding buckles are provided between the power generation devices at both ends and the grip handle so as to be folded inward. The invention solves the problem of continuous power guarantee of wearable intelligent device; in the invention, the grip-type slow gear is designed as a spring tensioning device similar to a mechanical watch; the stress generated during the grip tightens the spring.
MagnaFloat device generating clean electricity by using gravity, buoyancy, speed manipulation procedures and by passing magnets through inductors
The MagnaFloat, an energy generation device using gravity, buoyancy, pressure differentials, speed controls and linear motors to control the movement of buoyant canisters over and through a series of open, non-restricted pathways. Each canister has a magnet inside. While moving downward through Air (Drop Phase), ascending through Fluid (Floatation-ascent Phase), and upward through Air, these magnet-canisters pass through permanently attached inductors and electricity is produced. At conclusion of Floatation-ascent Phase, canisters exit Fluid and continue moving upward through Air into Pivot Bucket; Pivot Bucket is then rotated and canisters are ejected onto Inclined Platform. At bottom of overall device Passive Roller System changes direction of travel for canisters from downward vertical motion to horizontal motion, then later to upward vertical motion. While traveling horizontally, kinetic energy is extracted from fast moving canisters by acquiring and storing increased hydraulic pressure, which is converted into electricity.
Wave energy conversion device
A wave energy conversion device mainly includes a pair of one-way flow guiding grates, a hydropower turbine, and a housing containing the above mentioned items. An inlet chamber and an outlet chamber are provided within the housing. The inlet chamber has a first opening, and the outlet chamber has a second opening. Both the first and the second openings are oriented generally facing a front of the device toward incoming waves. The first and second openings are also oriented such that the first and second openings face each other with an angle ranging from 30 degrees (including 30 degrees) to 180 degrees, forming a transverse V-shape in a longitudinal cross-section of the housing. A first one-way flow guiding grate is installed on the first opening, and a second one-way flow guiding grate is installed on the second opening.
