The turbocharger impeller includes the aluminum first section and the resin second section.
TURBINE
A turbine, in particular for harvesting energy in flowing air or flowing water, is easily adaptable to different application conditions and facilitating a comparably high degree of efficiency. This is achieved in that the basic shape of the turbine is cylindrical and is provided with blades which are parallel to an axis of the turbine. The blades are pivotally arranged in joints on the outer circumference of at least one turbine wheel. The blades are substantially L-shaped. The longer limb of the blade is curved preferably in a manner corresponding to the radius of the turbine casing, and the shorter limb lies within the surface line of the turbine.
Segmented concrete hull for wave energy converters and method of constructing
A wave energy converter (10) is capable of floating on a body of water (BW), moving in response to waves (W) occurring in the body of water (BW), and includes a hull (12) connected to a heave plate (14). The wave energy converter (10) is characterized in that the hull (12) is formed from reinforced concrete, a plurality of connecting tendons (16) extend between the hull (12) and the heave plate (14), and a power take off (66) is attached to each connecting tendon (16).
TURBOCHARGER IMPELLER
A turbocharger impeller includes: a cylindrical boss portion disposed around a rotary axis; a hub portion connected to the boss portion and extends in a radial direction of the rotary axis; and a blade portion protruding from the boss portion and the hub portion toward a tip end side in the direction of the rotary axis and the radial direction. At least a part of an outer peripheral part of the hub portion in the radial direction or a part of the blade portion is provided with a resin second section and the second section is bonded to an aluminum first section. The turbocharger impeller includes the aluminum first section and the resin second section.
Power generating system using current around structural body
The present invention relates to a power generating system utilizing current around a structural body. The power generating system is disposed in a flow field, wherein the streams of the flow field flow along a main fluid flow direction. The power generating system comprises a supporting device and a power generating device. The supporting device comprises a supporting body, wherein at least one of a stream-facing region, a side-stream region, and a vortex region is defined on the supporting body. The power generating device comprises at least one power generating unit and a power storage unit, wherein the power generating unit is disposed in at least one of the stream-facing region, the side-stream region, and the vortex region.
ROTARY CONNECTION FOR A ROTOR BLADE OF A WIND TURBINE
A rotary connection for a rotor blade of a wind turbine. The rotary connection is used, for example, for adjusting a rotor blade of a wind turbine. The rotary connection according contains an outer ring and an inner ring. The inner ring has a contact surface in the direction of the rotor blade and a screw fixing surface in the direction of the rotor hub. The contact surface and the screw fixing surface are arranged parallel to each other and provided with passage holes, which each have a central axis. Rolling elements are arranged in at least two running rows located under each other between the outer ring and the inner ring, wherein the rolling elements each have a rolling element diameter. According to the invention, at least the lower running row is arranged with its rolling element centre underneath the screw fixing surface.
Apparatus for generation of energy from ocean waves
An apparatus for generating energy from ocean waves, the apparatus including a first or outer section arranged to be coupled to a sea floor and a second or inner section that is at least partially received by and slidably moveable within the first section. The first section includes a float housing arranged to be located toward or at a sea surface and an armature housing extending from the float housing toward the sea floor, the float housing having one or more apertures so that a water level within the float housing is substantially similar to or follows that of the sea surface. The second section includes a float slidably received by the float housing and a stem carrying a magnetic element that extends from the float so as to be receivable by the armature housing. The arrangement is such that the float travels in substantially vertical direction within the float housing in response to movement of the sea surface thereby the armature housing being moved relative to the magnetic element to generate energy.
Noise-reduction device for wind turbine and the wind turbine applied thereof
A noise-reduction device for a wind turbine and the wind turbine applied thereof are introduced. The noise-reduction device has a body. The body has a connection portion and a spoiler. The connection portion is concavely disposed on one side of the body and corresponds in shape to the wind turbine's blade so as to be fixed to a confronting edge of the wind turbine blade. The spoiler is disposed on the opposing side of the body. As soon as the wind turbine blade is driven by wind, the spoiler stirs air and guides the air across two sides thereof. When guided by the spoiler, airflows turn into vortexes on the wind turbine blade; hence, the chance that the wind turbine will stall and generate noise is greatly reduced.
Multi-source renewable power generation system
A multi-source power generation system to generate electricity by utilizing a combination of renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and wave energy is disclosed. The power generating system comprises a frame including a float body and a cylindrical body integral to the float body is submerged below the surface of sea water. A solar power generator comprising solar panel is mounted above the float portion, which is configured to receive the solar power energy and produce electrical potential.
