Apparatus and methods for cutting an object
The present embodiments are directed to apparatus and methods for cutting an object. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises a cutting device and an actuation device operatively coupled to the cutting device. A guide structure may be coupled at least partially between the cutting device and the actuation device. A supporting framework may provide a guiding path for linear advancement or retraction of the guide structure, and in turn linear advancement or retraction the cutting device, upon actuation of the actuation device.

TREE CUTTING APPARATUS WITH INTEGRAL HERBICIDE SPRAYING APPARATUS
Taught herein is an improvement over existing mechanisms for cutting down trees. According to one embodiment the instant invention is a tree cutter that is mountable on a skid loader or similar piece of heavy equipment. The tree cutter includes an integral liquid sprayer system that can be activated by the operator of the vehicle to which it is attached. In some embodiments the liquid that is dispensed is a herbicide that can be applied to the tree that has just been felled in order to make certain that it will not produce shoots that can potentially grow to replace the tree that had just been cut. It is therefore a general object of the present invention to provide an improved dual action tree cutting apparatus that also provides for application of a herbicide by the operator without stopping the rotation of the cutting blade or exiting the vehicle.

WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle includes a ground propulsion apparatus, a chassis, and a vehicle body. The vehicle body includes a first body part with an operator cab and a second body part. The first body part and the second body part are disposed on opposite sides of a fore-aft longitudinal center line of the work vehicle. The second body part has a front exterior surface, an inner side exterior surface, and a vertically extending chamfered exterior surface slanted in an outward-forward direction from the inner side exterior surface towards the front exterior surface to define a vertically extending chamfered corner. The chamfered exterior surface is disposed at least in an area extending from a height position corresponding to a seat index point of the operator cab to a height position corresponding to a design eye point of the operator cab.
Positioning system
A positioning system for attachment to a vehicle for operation of a power tool by a ground-based operator sitting in the vehicle provides a telescoping mast attached to the vehicle, a pivot bracket connecting an upper arm to the upper portion of the telescoping mast, mounting means for mounting the power tool on the upper arm; and power means for operating the power tool from the operator's position in the vehicle.
Automatic levelling of a feller head
The present invention concerns a method for the lateral levelling equipment of a timber working head at a forestry machine with a hydraulic system for the driving and regulation of the functions of the forestry machine, which forestry machine comprises a chassis with a driver's cabin and an arm to which a timber working head is fixed jointed and in a manner that allows rotation, the working head comprising levelling equipment and a regulator for the control and regulation of the lateral angle of the working head relative to the vertical direction, an arrangement for the execution of the method, and a forestry machine for the use of the arrangement during the execution of the method.
