Phase adjustment system for geared compressor, phase adjustment jig for geared compressor, and method for adjusting phase of geared compressor
A phase adjustment system 100 for a geared compressor 1 includes a phase adjustment jig 50 that is to be detachably provided in the geared compressor 1. The geared compressor 1 includes a drive gear 4 fixed to a drive shaft and having a largest outer diameter among a plurality of gears; a driven gear having a smaller diameter than a diameter of the drive gear 4 and meshing with the drive gear 4; and a gear casing accommodating the drive gear 4 and the driven gear. The phase adjustment jig 50 includes a fifth jig gear 66 that meshes with the drive gear 4 in a state where a frame 51 is fixed to the gear casing; and a manually rotatable handle 70 that is configured to rotate the fifth jig gear 66.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY MEASURING EXHAUST AREA OF TURBINE GUIDE VANE
A system for automatically measuring an exhaust area of a turbine guide vane, including a data acquisition module configured to measure a three-dimensional point cloud coordinate of a contour of a throat; a positioning module configured to automatically adjust a relative spatial position between the data acquisition module and the turbine guide vane; and a data processing module configured to fit a three-dimensional contour of the throat according to the three-dimensional point cloud coordinate measured by the data acquisition module. A method for automatically measuring an exhaust area of a turbine guide vane using the system is also provided.
IMPELLER ATTACH MECHANISM
An impeller attach mechanism for a turbocharger including a stud extending from a central bore of a compressor impeller toward a turbine wheel, the stud having a first threaded region and a second threaded region; a shaft coupled to the turbine wheel and extending toward the compressor impeller, the shaft having a leading portion, the leading portion having a threaded interior configured to engage the second threaded region of the stud; and an insert having an internal portion and an external portion, the internal portion having a threaded external surface to engage the compressor impeller, the internal portion having a threaded internal surface to engage the first threaded region of the stud, the external portion configured to surround the leading portion of the shaft.

Balancing ring anti-rotation spacer
A rotating assembly for a gas turbine engine has a balancing ring mounted to a first rotating component having a rotating unbalance about an axis of rotation. The ring is clocked at a circumferential position about the axis to counteract the rotating unbalance. A spacer is axially abutted against the first rotating component to set an axial position of the first rotating component relative to a second rotating component. The balancing ring is locked against rotation relative to the first rotating component in its circumferential position by the dual use spacer.
GAS TURBINE ENGINE FRAME ALIGNMENT TOOL
Devices, systems, and methods for alignment of gas turbine engine components including frame components.
Turbine exhaust cylinder/ turbine exhaust manifold bolted stiffening ribs
Disclosed are a casing arrangement and a method to reduce vibrations in a gas turbine casing. The casing arrangement includes a turbine exhaust cylinder connected to a turbine exhaust manifold establishing a fluid flow path, the fluid flow path including an inner and an outer flow path. A damping blanket damps the vibrations and is coupled to a surface of the inner flow path via a constraining layer.
Pullable drawer for a turbine and turbine with such a drawer
An exemplary pullable drawer is arranged for removably protruding in a radial direction into an outer housing of a turbine, in order to make mechanical contact with an inner carrier being concentrically arranged within the outer housing. The pullable drawer has an essentially cylindrical body, which extends along a longitudinal drawer axis. A mechanical decoupling is provided, as the pullable drawer is divided along the longitudinal drawer axis into at least separate first and second parts. The first and second parts are coupled with each other by means of a releasable mechanical joint.
Annular shroud assembly
A shroud assembly including a shroud support and an annular shroud is provided. The shroud assembly includes one or more pins for securing the annular shroud to the shroud support. The pins having a block capable of translating radially to allowing the shroud to expand and contract in the radial direction. A gas turbine engine having a compressor section, a combustion section, a turbine section and a shroud assembly is also provided. The shroud assembly includes one or more pins for securing the continuous shroud to the shroud support. The pins having a block capable of translating radially to allowing the shroud to expand and contract in the radial direction. Methods for assembling a shroud assembly structure in a gas turbine engine are also provided.
ASSEMBLY FOR A TURBOMACHINE TURBINE AND ASSOCIATED TURBOMACHINE
An assembly for a turbomachine turbine includes at least one ring sector made of CMC material and a support casing including an upstream flange and a downstream flange between which each ring sector is disposed, each ring sector including a base that has a radially external face from which radially extend two lugs, the lugs of each ring sector being retained between the two flanges of the support casing by axial pins each engaged in one of the flanges of the ring support casing and in the lug of the ring sector facing said flange, the assembly further including, for each ring sector, at least one radial retaining pin screwed into the support casing and coming to radially bear against a lug of the at least one ring sector to retain it in position, and anti-rotation system for rotationally locking the radial retaining pin.
