A turbine includes: a rotatable impeller with a hub provided with a plurality of rotor blades; and a tubular member in which a diffuser located downstream of the impeller is formed. On an inner surface of the tubular member, a plurality of projections projecting radially inward of the tubular member are formed at positions closer to an inlet end of the tubular member than an outlet end of the tubular member. The plurality of projections are arranged in a circumferential direction of the inner surface so as to leave a space between adjacent projections.

Semiconductor body for a spark plug of a turbine engine

The invention relates to a semiconductor body revolving around a main axis (A) for a spark plug of a turbine engine, the semiconductor body comprising a baseplate and an upper portion extending from the baseplate along the main axis, the baseplate comprising a bottom surface substantially defined in a plane perpendicular to the main axis and a first conical surface intended to cooperate by form-fitting at least partially with a contact surface of an outer electrode of the spark plug. According to the invention, the upper portion comprises an interface located opposite the bottom surface along the main axis (A) and featuring a profile that is at least partially corrugated.

TURBINE ENGINE SEPARATE FLOW MIXER

The invention relates to a turbine engine separate flow mixer centered on a longitudinal axis, comprising an exhaust housing, a shroud directly connected to the exhaust housing and intended to mix the flows originating in the turbine engine, said shroud comprising a metal sheet formed by a succession of first and second longitudinal strips distributed circumferentially around the longitudinal axis of the mixer by circumferentially placing the second strips on either side of the first strips, the first and second strips being configured to form the shroud when at rest and grooves in the shroud when operating, the grooves being defined by an alternation of internal lobes and of external lobes.

Axial damper and displacement limit for turbomachine with rolling element bearings

In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a turbocharger having a rolling element bearing (REB) assembly contained within a bearing housing includes an axial damper configured to dampen and limit axial displacement of the REB assembly. The axial damper can include different embodiments, including an elastomeric axial damper, wire mesh, or oil film, for interrupting contact between the bearing assembly and a displacement limit when an axial displacement force exceeds a preload force. Further, the axial damper can include an apparatus having at least two axially compressible rings, where one of the axially compressible rings includes a displacement limit feature.

Encapsulated flow mixer stiffener ring

An exhaust mixer arrangement for a gas turbine engine comprises an exhaust cone, a lobed exhaust mixer surrounding at least a portion of the exhaust cone and a cover mounted to an outer surface of the exhaust cone. The cover and the outer surface of the exhaust cone define a dead-end cavity for receiving a stiffener ring. A plurality of circumferentially spaced-apart struts interconnect at least a number of lobes of the lobed exhaust mixer to the stiffener ring.

Leading edge profile of vanes

A vane configured to be placed with a plurality of identical vanes so as to form a vane wheel for an aeroengine, the vane wheel defining an axis, the vane having an airfoil presenting a leading edge and a trailing edge, the leading-edge curve describing the shape of the leading edge of the airfoil in a view perpendicular to the airfoil presenting at least one leading-edge undulation, said at least one leading-edge undulation extending over less than 30% of a length of the airfoil from the first end of the airfoil.

Vanes for the impeller of a ventilator, impeller, and axial ventilator, diagonal ventilator, or radial ventilator

A disclosed system includes an impeller for a ventilator. The impeller includes a hub or hub ring configured to rotate about an axis and a plurality of vanes attached to the hub or hub ring. Each vane of the impeller has a leading edge facing a pressure side of the ventilator along the axis, and a trailing edge facing a suction side of the ventilator along the axis. The leading edge of each vane has a corrugated shape characterized by a first wavelength and the trailing edge has a corrugated shape characterized by a second wavelength, with the first wavelength being longer than the second wavelength. The impeller may further include injection molded plastic, die-cast aluminum, stamped sheet metal, or laser cut sheet metal that is embossed. The impeller may further be assembled from separately manufactured pieces that are secured to one another using joining, welding, or by interlocking tabs.
