SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ACTUATING A LOCKING ASSEMBLY
A locking assembly includes a first motor gear configured to be rotated in a first direction. The locking assembly also includes a second motor gear configured to be rotated in a second direction. The locking assembly also includes a first lock gear configured to be rotated in the first direction in response to the first motor gear rotating in the first direction. The locking assembly also includes a second lock gear configured to be rotated in the second direction in response to the second motor gear rotating in the second direction. The locking assembly also includes a locking mechanism configured to be rotated in the first direction in response to the first lock gear rotating in the first direction, and to be rotated in the second direction in response to the second lock gear rotating in the second direction.
LOCKING MECHANISM TOOL AND SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a locking mechanism or tool adapted for connection to a remotely operated vehicle and adapted for at least one of the group consisting of connection and disconnection of two plates. The present invention also concerns a system adapted for at least one of the group consisting of connection and disconnection of two plates, where the system comprises said locking mechanism or tool.
Coined seat for metal-to-metal seating
A pressure relief valve (PRV) is provided. The PRV includes a first housing part and a second housing part. The first housing part includes first major and minor surfaces and a first deformed corner at an intersection of the first major and minor surfaces. The second housing part includes second major and minor surfaces and a second deformed corner at an intersection of the second major and minor surfaces. The first and second housing parts are disposed with the first and second minor surfaces facing oppositely at a distance to define a metering hole. The first and second deformed corners are deformed by a coining ball to cooperatively form a coined seat at the metering hole for seating and re-seating a sealing ball. The first and second deformed corners have respective radii of curvatures resulting from deformation which are larger than that of the sealing ball.
LOCKING UNIT
A locking unit for the parking lock of an automatic transmission, for locking the movement of a piston which is movable by a drive and which can be acted on with hydraulic pressure.
Actuator
The present disclosure relates to a mechanical actuator having a modified locking mechanism and fewer components. The actuator has a cylinder, a locking recess formed on an interior wall of the cylinder, and a piston assembly that moves between an extended position and a retracted position responsive to fluid pressure within the cylinder. A lock is connected to the piston assembly and moves radially between a locked position and an unlocked position responsive to the fluid pressure within the cylinder.
Hydraulic baulking sync lock
The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, a thrust reverser synchronization shaft lock system includes a rotatable shaft comprising at least one radial prong extending radially from the shaft, a hydraulic lock assembly that includes a housing, a piston head having a lock recess, a piston rod extending radially away from the shaft and configured to be urged by the piston head to move the first piston rod end out of engagement with the radial prong to selectably permit rotation of the shaft, and a bias member configured to urge the first piston rod end into engagement with the radial prong, and an electric lock assembly that includes a lock pin and an electric actuator configured to controllably extend and retract the lock pin in and out of engagement with the lock recess.
LOCK ACTUATOR, AND PARKLOCK COMPRISING SUCH A LOCK ACTUATOR
The present invention relates to a lock actuator (1), in particular for a park lock (2), which is arranged in a longitudinal axis (X-X), comprising a movable actuating element (10) which is movable into a first position (A) and a second position (B) and comprises a locking slotted guide (20), and at least one locking element (15) which is held displaceably perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (X-X), the locking slotted guide (20) having a first surface (21) and a second surface (22) at a different distance from the longitudinal axis (X-X), which are connected by a wedge surface (23) with a gradient (M1), the first surface (21) being in operative contact with the at least one locking element (15) in the first position (A) and a second surface (22) being in operative contact with the at least one locking element in the second position (B), and at least the first surface (21) and/or the second surface (22) being inclined in relation to the wedge surface (23). The present invention additionally relates to a park lock (2) with a lock actuator (1) and to a motor vehicle comprising such a park lock (2).
Device for locking a piston rod of a piston of an actuator which is pressurizable in order to disengage a parking lock and is spring-loaded in order to engage the parking lock
In a device for locking a piston rod of a piston of an actuator, an armature rod of an electromagnet is axially movable counter to a preloading spring and includes two actuating contours. Latching mechanisms are operable to mechanically fix the piston. An axial distance between base points of the actuating contours is such that the piston is mechanically fixable by only one of the latching mechanisms in each case. Interlocking elements of both latching mechanisms are accommodated in an axially fixed manner in a sleeve, are radially displaceable, and are selectively engageable with the piston.
SAFETY DEVICE
The invention related to a safety device for detachably locking the output member of a linear drive, comprising: a coupling rod coupled with the output element of the linear drive, a blocking unit, linearly movably penetrated by the coupling rod which is relatively movable with respect to the housing between a locking position blocking the stroke of the coupling rod and a release position enabling the linear movement of the coupling rod, a spring device for prestressing the blocking unit in the blocking position, a locking device for locking the blocking unit in the release position, wherein the locking device has locking rolling elements accommodated in the housing and a support sleeve which is linearly movably penetrated by the coupling rod, an electromagnet device that holds the support sleeve in the support position against the recoil force of at least one trigger spring or device.
