The outer wall of the cylinder barrel is provided with an oil inlet hole communicated with the rodless cavity, an oil outlet hole communicated with the rod cavity, and a reserved hole. The lower end surface of the piston is provided with a first buffer ring, and the upper surface of the cylinder base is provided with a second buffer ring mated with the first buffer ring. The bottom cylinder is applied to the simulator for oil and gas resource exploitation.

Locking systems

A locking system includes a locking element which is movable between a first, locking position and a second unlocking position and an unlocking actuator for moving the locking element (from the first position to the second position over an unlocking stroke length (Su). The system further comprises a control unit configured to command the unlocking actuator to move the locking element from the first position to a third position over an anti-icing stroke length (Sa) which is shorter than the unlocking stroke length (Su).

Landing gear stay

A variable length stay for an aircraft landing gear is disclosed having first and second sets of struts lying on different longitudinal axes that enable the stay to extend and contract by movement of the struts parallel to their axes. The stay may be locked in its extended and retracted configurations thus providing downlock and uplock functions for the landing gear. The struts of the stay may have an open and easy to inspect structure, have low friction kinematics, and do not need to telescope within each other or lie on a single common axis.

TELESCOPIC ACTUATOR WITH AUTOMATIC LOCKING

The invention relates to a telescopic actuator comprising a cylinder (1) having a closed end (2) and an open end (3) for passing a hollow rod (4) mounted to slide axially in the cylinder. The actuator includes a central support (10) that extends from the closed end of the cylinder inside the rod and that carries obstacles (15) that are movable radially between a setback position leaving the rod free to slide and a projecting position in which the obstacles are engaged in a groove (9) in the rod in order to lock the rod axially relative to the cylinder, the flanks of the obstacles and of the groove being shaped so as to prevent any setting back of the obstacles by movement of the rod, the obstacles being arranged at the ends of spring blades (14) extending longitudinally and arranged to urge the obstacles from the setback position towards the projecting position, the central support carrying controlled means (20) for flexing the blades in order to cause the obstacles to be set back towards the setback position.

POWERED SIDE PANEL SYSTEM

A powered side panel system is used in conjunction with a loading bed found on trailers and other flatbed vehicles. The system includes a side panel having a vertical member. The side panel is configured to pivot about a panel axis in communication with the trailer. A lever arm extends between the side panel and an actuator. The actuator pivots the lever arm about a lever axis. The lever arm contacts the vertical member and controls the rate of radial motion of the side panel about the panel axis. A control unit is configured to regulate the operation of the actuator device.

A parking lock device includes a parking lock wheel, a locking pawl moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position, and an operating piston displaceable along a displacement axis. A movement of the locking pawl between the locked position and the unlocked position can be effected. The parking lock device also includes a latch lever pivotable about a pivot axis, and a solenoid by means of which the latch lever can be pivoted from one position to the other position. The pivot axis runs perpendicularly to the displacement axis.

Variable compression ratio engine

Disclosed is a variable compression ratio engine. When it is desired to change a compression ratio of fuel/air mixture, a first latching pin or a second latching pin is moved to restrict or allow rotation of a first connecting rod so that the first connecting rod moves linearly with respect to a second connecting rod, thereby variably adjusting the entire length of the connecting rod assembly and changing the compression ratio.

Actuator mechanism

An actuator system comprising a rotatable lock mechanism defining a path for an actuator pin as the actuator is expanded and retracted, wherein the lock mechanism defines an entry passage through which the pin enters as the actuator extends, a guide surface along which the pin travels from the entry passage as the actuator retracts, a locking recess into which the pin is guided by the guide surface, and an exit passage into which the pin is guided as it is caused to leave the lock recess by extension of the actuator and subsequent retraction; whereby a detent surface is provided to prevent the pin returning back into the lock recess when the actuator is extended to cause the pin to leave the lock recess.

A piston body (11) of an advancing-retracting first piston (10) and a force-multiplying second piston (15) are arranged in series in a vertical direction in a housing (1). Force acting on the second piston (15) due to pressurized oil in a lock chamber (16) is multiplied and converted into multiplied upward force via engaging balls (32) of a force multiplier (30). Then, the multiplied upward force is transmitted to an output rod (12) of the first piston (10). At an intermediate part of a first air detection passage (38) for use in detection formed in the housing (1), a first detection valve (40) is provided. When the engaging balls (32) move inward in a radial direction, the first detection valve (40) is closed.
