Bellows accumulator fixation apparatus for suspension dampers
An accumulator for a vehicle suspension damper, which includes an outer shell with an open end that connects to an accumulator port on the damper and a distal end, opposite the open end, which includes an end wall that extends radially inward to a gas charging port. A bellows assembly, which includes an annular bellows wall extending between proximal and distal plates, is positioned inside the outer shell to define a pressurized gas chamber inside the accumulator that is arranged in fluid communication with the gas charging port. The gas charging port includes a stem that extends inwardly from the end wall of the outer shell and the distal plate of the bellows assembly has an inner diameter that is received on the stem. The inner diameter of the distal plate is coupled to the stem of the gas charging port by a fixation component.
Hydraulic accumulator in form of a bellows accumulator
A hydraulic accumulator includes an accumulator housing (1), in which a bellows (21) having a selectable number of pleats (23) forms a mobile separation element between the gas side (25) and the fluid side (13). A distancing device (33) is arranged inside the accumulator housing (1), and is fluidically connected to the inside of the bellows (21) or abuts the bellows (21), forming an additional medium chamber.

A hydraulic accumulator, comprising a base body (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g, 2h, 2i) having a first component (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f, 3g, 3h, 3i) and a second component (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f, 4g, 4h, 4i) which are connected to one another by a form fit and/or a material join, is, with the aim of specifying a hydraulic accumulator which, after fabrication without difficulty, exhibits a very reliable seal, a high level of strength, an as far as possible undamaged surface and an as far as possible rotationally symmetrical design in the joining region of the components, characterized in that at least one component (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f, 3g, 3h, 3i, 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f, 4g, 4h, 4i) is deformed by a contactless shaping method in such a way that it enters into the form fit and/or material join with the other component (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f, 3g, 3h, 3i, 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f, 4g, 4h, 4i).
