HYDRAULIC SYSTEM ARCHITECTURES AND BIDIRECTIONAL PROPORTIONAL VALVES USABLE IN THE SYSTEM ARCHITECTURES
The present disclosure relates to systems that use a single proportional valve to control raising and lowering of a load. The present disclosure also relates to proportional valves that provide proportional flow control in first and second opposite flow directions through the proportional valve.
Hydraulic System
A hydraulic system for a working vehicle, the hydraulic system includes a hydraulically actuated device; a hydraulic pump assembly for supplying a variable output of hydraulic fluid to the hydraulically actuated device; and a proportional control valve, wherein the hydraulic system is arranged such that hydraulic fluid exiting the hydraulically actuated device flows through a restriction of the proportional control valve; and wherein the hydraulic system is configured to control a flow of hydraulic fluid supplied to the hydraulically actuated device by varying the output of hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic pump assembly, and to control a flow of hydraulic fluid exiting the hydraulically actuated device via adjusting a restriction area of the proportional control valve.
Control of hydraulic actuating cylinders in roll stands
A hydraulic control loop controls a hydraulic adjusting cylinder. The cylinder has a cylindrical housing and a displaceable piston therein. The piston divides the housing interior into a first and a second hydraulic chamber. A first hydraulic valve supplies the first hydraulic chamber with hydraulic fluid. A hydraulic pressure of the first hydraulic chamber is adjustable by controlling the first hydraulic valve. A second hydraulic valve supplies the second hydraulic chamber with hydraulic fluid. A hydraulic pressure of the second hydraulic chamber is adjustable by controlling the second hydraulic valve. A control device controls the two hydraulic valves. In a position control state, the second hydraulic valve is controlled by a position control signal dependent on the working position of the piston and the first hydraulic valve is controlled by an adjusted position control signal, that is generated on the basis of the position control signal.
Work Machine
There is provided a work machine which can improve accuracy of control of an actuator when a pressure difference between a hydraulic pump and the actuator is large and the demanded flow rate of the actuator is small. An auxiliary flow rate controller is configured such that an opening area of a main valve changes between a maximum opening area and zero according to the opening area of a pilot variable restrictor when the opening area of the pilot variable restrictor is equal to or more than a predetermined opening area and that the opening area of the main valve is zero irrespective of the opening area of the pilot variable restrictor when the opening area of the pilot variable restrictor is less than the predetermined opening area.
WORK MACHINE
Provided is a work machine including: first and second work actuator control valves; a work command adjuster that changes a work command to be input to the second work actuator control valve in accordance with a work adjustment command; and a controller including an adjustment command part that inputs the work adjustment command to the work command adjuster. The adjustment command part performs an asynchronization control in a single work operation state and a synchronization control in a combination operation state including a turning deceleration operation and a work operation. For the synchronization control, the adjustment command part generates the work adjustment command to render a minimum work operation amount to open the first work actuator control valve equal to a minimum work operation amount to close the second work actuator control valve and inputs it to the work command adjuster.
CLOSED CENTER HOIST VALVE WITH SNUBBING
A valve for controlling a hydraulic cylinder on a work machine may include a raising position configured for placing a pump in fluid communication with a cap end of the hydraulic cylinder. The valve may also include closed center position configured for closing off fluid communication to the cap end line and the rod end line. The valve may also include a lowering position configured for placing the pump in fluid communication with the rod end of the hydraulic cylinder. The valve may also include a snubbing position configured for placing the cap end in restricted flow fluid communication with the tank and for placing the rod end in restricted flow fluid communication with the tank.
Slit valve pneumatic control
Disclosed are a slit valve apparatus and a method for controlling a slit valve. The slit valve apparatus includes a slit valve assembly and a servo-control system in communication with the slit valve assembly. The slit valve assembly includes at least one gate able to transition between an open position and a closed position, at least one pneumatic actuator, at least one proportional pneumatic valve including a plurality of controllers, and a continuous position sensor. The servo-control system includes a centralized controller that generates a control signal and adjusts the movement of the at least one gate based on the position trajectory for the gate, a linear position measurement of the gate from the continuous position sensor, and fluid pressure/flow measurements from the plurality of controllers.
Valve device, system and method
A valve device including an outlet port, a first valve unit with a first valve element for setting a first throttle opening for influencing a first airflow of pressurised air which is to be output at the outlet port or is to be released via the outlet port, a first throttle control loop for the closed-loop control of the first throttle opening according to a first setpoint, a pressure control loop for the closed-loop pressure control of an outlet pressure present at the outlet port to a pressure setpoint amid the use of a first throttle control loop as a subordinate control loop, wherein on closed-loop pressure control the pressure control loop specifies a first throttle setpoint to the first throttle control loop as the first setpoint, wherein the valve device is further configured to provide a throttle setting function and, within the throttle setting function, to limit the first throttle opening to a first limitation value and/or within the throttle setting function to specify a first direct setpoint which does not come from the closed-loop pressure control, to the first throttle control loop as the first setpoint.
Adjustable ride control system
An adjustable ride control circuit and method that includes a head valve that controls flow between a boom cylinder head intake and an accumulator, and a rod float valve that controls flow between a boom cylinder rod intake and tank, where the rod float valve is electronically adjustable and proportionally controls flow restriction. A controller controls ride control activation, and adjustment of the head and rod float valves. When ride control is activated, the head valve allows flow between the head intake and the accumulator, and the controller automatically adjusts the rod float valve. When ride control is deactivated, the head valve blocks flow between the head intake and the accumulator, and the rod float valve blocks flow between the rod intake and tank. An enable valve can control positioning of the head valve. A flow selector can select manual or automatic adjustment of the rod float valve.
