ACTUATOR PREDICTIVE SYSTEM
An actuator system includes a piston-cylinder arrangement including a piston that is movable with respect to a cylinder. A first flow path is in fluid communication with the piston-cylinder arrangement and a second flow path is in fluid communication with the piston-cylinder arrangement. A control system is operable to fluidly connect the first flow path to a source of high-pressure fluid and to connect the second flow path to a drain to move the piston in a first direction. A pressure sensor is fluidly connected to the first flow path and is operable to measure sufficient pressure data during the movement of the piston to generate a pressure versus time curve. The control system is operable to compare the generated pressure versus time curve to a known standard pressure versus time curve stored in the control system to determine the condition of the piston-cylinder arrangement.
Spool valve device and spool valve
A spool valve device includes: a housing with channels; a spool moving to change channel connection statuses; an electric actuator including an electric motor and linear-motion conversion mechanism, the motor rotating an output shaft by torque corresponding to a drive current supplied to the motor, the mechanism converting rotational output shaft movement into straight movement and applying thrust corresponding to the torque to the spool to change position; a biasing member applying biasing force to the spool against the actuator thrust; an angle detector detecting an motor output shaft angular position; a driving portion driving the motor by controlling drive current flow supplied to the motor based on a position command input and the angular position detected by the angle detector; and an abnormality determining portion calculating the spool position based on the detected angular position and determine presence or absence of operation spool abnormality.
Hydraulic Circuit Equipped with a System for Controlling a Hydraulic Component
A hydraulic circuit includes a pump connected to a tank for supplying hydraulic liquid under pressure to a component via a directional control slide valve provided with a feed port connected to an inlet of the component and with a return port connected to an outlet of the component. The hydraulic circuit further includes a pressure limiter connected to the inlet of the component and the tank, and a feed control system for the hydraulic component including a pressure sensor installed upstream of the hydraulic component downstream of the feed port for supplying information about the pressure of the hydraulic liquid and a setpoint pressure. The feed control system further including an actuator for controlling the movement of the directional control slide valve, and a control unit for generating a control signal for the actuator based on information about the pressure measured at the feed port.
ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT, HYDRAULIC SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
The disclosure concerns an electronic control unit for a hydraulic system, the hydraulic system comprising a pump drivingly coupled to a motor, the pump configured to provide a supply pressure in a supply line of the hydraulic system. The electronic control unit is configured to receive a load sensing signal corresponding to a sensed load measure of the hydraulic system; determine, based on the load sensing signal and a predetermined pump margin, a target torque parameter for the motor; and adjust the motor based on the target torque parameter. The disclosure further concerns a hydraulic system and a method for controlling a hydraulic system.
VALVE BANK AND SMART CONTROL VALVE
An exemplary valve bank and/or modular control valve having a valve body, a valve member movable in a fluid flow of the valve body to control flow of fluid, and an onboard electronic controller that is operably mounted to the valve bank or valve body. The onboard controller is operably connected to at least one actuator of the valve, which is configured to control movement of the valve member in response to commands from the onboard controller. The onboard controller may provide diagnostics, feedback and/or control of the control valve, such as via inputs from one or more sensors that may be included in the valve. The modular control valve may be used with conventional non-intelligent valve banks to thereby impart smart diagnostics and/or feedback into the valve bank in a plug-and-play manner. A communications interface may be provided in the control valve to interface and communicate with an upper-level PLC controller.
Anti-surge recycle valve
An anti-surge recycle valve system for a natural gas line using a pipeline rotary control valve for controlling gas flow through the gas line and a valve controller having a surge-programmable feature including a threshold setpoint deviation limit, which is used to control first and second control valve loops. The first solenoid valve loop drives a rotary high-pressure piston actuator when the linear position sensor determines a setpoint deviation in gas flow below the threshold deviation, and the second solenoid valve loop drives the rotary high-pressure piston actuator when the linear position sensor determines a setpoint deviation in gas flow above the threshold deviation. The system provides ultra-rapid stroking speed in tandem with highly accurate and stable positioning.
