The device includes a support bracket, a chamber attached to the support bracket, and a screen filter configured to locate within the chamber when the animal deposits the waste. The chamber has an opening adapted to accommodate the animal to deposit the waste inside the chamber. The chamber is rotatable between a first position and a second position. The screen filter is movable between a third position and a fourth position. The rotation of the chamber and the movement of the screen filter can be independently managed, thus achieving a better result for animal waste handling.

A litter box liner comprises a base and at least one sidewall. Peripheral regions of the base and the at least one sidewall are coupled to one another to form an open-ended bag-like structure that defines a void for receiving litter. The base and the at least one sidewall are each of a fluid-impervious material and couplings between the peripheral regions of the base and the at least one sidewall are continuous and fluid impermeable.

An animal toilet includes: a front-rear direction, a right-left direction, and a height direction; an upper container that is to be placed with excrement treating material on a bottom portion having a plurality of holes through which urine passes, the bottom portion being a part positioned lowest inside the upper container, in a state where an absorbent body has been placed in a tray, a central position of the bottom portion of the upper container being arranged nearer to a rear side than a central position of the absorbent body, in the front-rear direction; the tray that is to be placed with the absorbent body that absorbs urine that has passed through the holes; and a lower container put below the upper container, the lower container storing the tray.

An animal litter box includes: a tray housing including a urine passage portion and an insertion opening; and a tray including an absorbent-body placement surface. The urine passage portion has holes through which urine pass downward. The insertion opening is formed in a front surface of the tray housing. On the absorbent-body placement surface, an absorbent body for absorbing urine that has passed through the holes is placed. The tray is housed in the tray housing from the insertion opening in such a way that the tray is capable of being pulled out forward. The tray is capable of being housed in the tray housing with an orientation of the tray in the front-back direction reversed. The tray includes an identification portion in a part of the tray other than the absorbent-body placement surface, and the identification portion is for identifying one side and another side in the front-back direction.

A pet waste scooper includes a handle portion, a scoop portion, and a support portion. The scoop portion has a receptacle for receiving pet waste and is at least partially defined by a bottom wall and a front wall. The support portion extends between the handle portion and the scoop portion and is configured to provide structural support to the pet waste scooper. The handle portion, the scoop portion, and the support portion are a unitary component that includes a pulp material.

The invention relates to a composition and method for controlling odor in pet litters. The composition includes a benzoic acid, a Generally Regarded as Safe acid, and a wetting liquid. This composition is capable of acting both as an antimicrobial and as an odor controlling preservative in pet litters. The benzoic acid and the liquid can be mixed together, or added to the litter materials, to combat the malodors created by the pet litter content.

An animal litter box (100) includes: a litter-box main portion (1) including an upper container (10) and a lower container (30); an output main portion (60) including an output portion (61); and a position regulator. The upper container (10) includes a plurality of holes (h) passing through the upper container in the up-down direction, and the lower container (30) includes a reception portion (32) that receives excrement that has passed through the plurality of holes (h). The position regulator regulates a relative position between the litter-box main portion (1) and the output main portion (60) in at least one of the front-back direction and the left-right direction.

A toilet for separating excreta of a cat into feces and urine includes a supporting part, a feces storage container, an inclined classifying part, and a urine storage container. The supporting part has a supporting surface and an egestion opening formed on the supporting surface. The feces storage container is disposed below the supporting surface, and has a first entrance. The inclined classifying part has a sloped surface and through holes formed on the sloped surface. The egestion opening allows the sloped surface to be exposed for guiding the feces, so as to move the feces along the sloped surface to the first entrance, and allow the feces to enter the feces storage container from the first entrance. The urine storage container is disposed below the sloped surface for receiving urine flowed from the through holes.

The present invention is a cylindrical litter box with a litter pan and a lid, which is removably attached to the litter pan. The litter pan comprises of a body having a circular base, a cylindrical side wall that is joint at its bottom end to the circular base. The cylindrical pan includes an open top that is defined by a peripheral lip. The open top end includes a double brim: an outer brim dedicated to securely support the lid, an inner brim to support a clutch and secure a bag, and a cavity separating the two brims. An especially designed bag that can be rolled open is attached from its open end to the inner brim and lines the pan. The rolled part of the bag is secured inside the cavity in between the inner and outer brims.
