A pet waste machine configured to capture animal information and dispose of animal waste. The pet waste machine includes a flat surface configured to receive pet waste, wherein a roll of pads is disposed upon the flat surface. A supply housing for holding a fresh supply of pad rolls which is connected to the waste station. A take-up assembly, which is connected to an end of the pet waste machine, is configured to dispose soiled pads by rolling up and sealing the soiled portion of the pad. A control and drive module is connected to the pet waste machine and is configured to detect animal activity. The control and drive module is comprised of an activity sensor. A network connection is connected to the control and drive module and is capable of transmitting data obtained by the pet waste machine.

The present disclosure provides a pet toilet and a control method thereof. The pet toilet includes a circuit board, a base, and a roller rotatably arranged on the base. A weighing sensor electrically connected to the circuit board and configured to detect a weight is arranged on the base, and a distance sensor electrically connected to the circuit board and configured to measure a distance is arranged on the base or the roller. The circuit board controls the roller to rotate according to a signal fed back by the weighing sensor and a signal fed back by the distance sensor when a pet enters the roller, thus solving the problem of misjudgment easily caused the fact that only the weighing sensor is used to perform waste clearing in the prior art. The probability of misjudgment on the defecation of the pet is effectively reduced.

A self-cleaning waste disposal system is provided. The self-cleaning waste disposal system includes a housing having a receptacle disposed beneath a conveyor belt, wherein the conveyor belt receives waste from an animal within the housing. The tray includes a drain that receives the waste and fluid from a sprayer system directed towards the conveyor belt. A sensor is operably connected to an upper end of the conveyor to detect the waste. Upon detection, the upper end of the conveyer belt automatically rotates towards a rear end of the housing the sprayer system disperses fluid on to the conveyer belt. A scraping member is disposed within the tray and can remove waste from the conveyer belt as the conveyor belt rotates. This prevents waste from returning to the top of the conveyer belt.

An end cap is configured to removably couple to a sprocket adapter comprising an aperture having two slotted portions, and a set of flaps. The aperture fits around the first tube of a sprocket adapter. The two slotted portions fit around a set of fins of a sprocket adapter. The set of flaps couple to the sprocket adapter. A take-up rod is configured to couple with a sprocket adapter. A pet waste roll assembly comprises a sprocket adapter coupled to an end cap and a take-up rod.

The animal toilets presently do not have an automatic method of cleaning the toilet surface and disposing of the waste. The automatic animal toilet disclosed herein is equipped with a permeable surface toileting surface, a catchment surface/tray underlying the toileting surface to collect and channel liquids, and a drain. The toileting surface is equipped with a rinsing element, cleaning cover and cleaning head/vacuum to remove liquid and solid residue waste from the platform base. The animal toilet is also equipped with a water tank, heating element, solar panel, battery backup, waste receptacle and a solid waste removal conveyor system. The drain will be further equipped with tubing to convey the liquid to a convenient disposal location. The unit will also include a ramp, so that the animal can utilized the device safely.

Pet waste cartridge

A waste cartridge in combination with a waste machine or apparatus that maintains waste pads for a pet owner, automatically or manually by removing and sealing soiled pads and waste and then replacing the soiled pad with a clean pad on a pet bed of the machine. The apparatus senses when a pet is using a waste pad portion and when the pet is finished, the machine takes up the soiled portion of the pad and removes and seals the soiled portion of the pad roll and the waste automatically, moving the pad into a repository for later removal and disposal of the waste cartridge when the pad roll is used up and then replacing removed pad with a new waste cartridge. The waste cartridge is comprised of a pad roll and a take-up rod attached to one end of the pad by any means such as a clip, slot or adhesive on the take-up rod. A pair of end caps on opposing ends of the take-up rod that includes a gear for attachment to a removable drive module may also be included or left off if the rod or core is directly connected to the drive module.
