Magnetic body-worn mounting system and method

A mounting device includes an internal member and an external member. The internal member includes first magnets disposed in an inner face of the internal member, a shock cavity formed in the inner face of the internal member, and an insert disposed in the shock cavity. The external member is removably coupled to the internal member. The external member includes second magnets disposed in an inner face of the external member. The second magnets are rotatable between a locking position and a release position. The external member also includes a shock ridge formed in the inner face of the external member. The shock ridge is received into the shock cavity and compresses the insert such that impact is dampened during coupling of the internal member to the external member.

LOCKING DEVICE AND FUNCTIONAL MODULE

A locking device and a functional module including the locking device are provided. The locking device includes a mounting frame with a latching column, and a locking assembly locking or releasing the mounting frame. The locking assembly includes a main body pivotally connected with the mounting frame, a latch rotatably connected with the main body, and a sliding cover slidably mounted on the main body and can drive the latch to rotate relative to the main body. When the latch is engaged with the latching column, the locking assembly is locked to the mounting frame. When the sliding cover is moved relative to the main body, the latch rotates relative to the main body to disengage from the latching column. The latch does not need to be rotated separately, and unlocking efficiency of the locking device is improved.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SECURING A LADDER TO A LADDER RACK
20220355742 · 2022-11-10 ·

A device for securing a ladder to a ladder rack comprises a first pole segment, a second pole segment substantially parallel to and shorter than the first pole segment, a connecting segment therebetween, and a clamping bar slidably engaged with the first pole segment and selectively slidably engaged with the second pole segment. The clamping bar comprises a trigger handle. The device may be placed around a portion of a ladder and a ladder rack. Repeatedly pivoting and releasing the trigger handle moves the clamping bar proximally-to-distally along the first pole segment such that the clamping bar slidably engages a proximal end of the second pole segment and then tightens against the ladder rack, thereby securing the ladder to the ladder rack.

Internal pelvic fixator

A system and method for internal pelvic fixation. Guide wires can be inserted through guides and opposing sides of a pelvic bone, and can indicate a depth for driving bone screws into the pelvic bone. Offset rod tools positioned about each guide can assist in determining an offset distance between an implant rod and the pelvic bone. A template rod may be coupled to the offset rod tools and used to select a length for the implant rod. Clamps can be coupled to the bone screws, the clamps having multiple axes of rotation, the angular positions of the clamps being secured by the tightening of a single nut of each clamp. Joysticks used to tighten the nuts can be coupled to a reduction holder mechanism that can decrease at least an axial distance between the clamps, and thus pelvic bones, before locking of the clamps via tightening of the nuts.

An attaching apparatus includes a first member which has an axle member. A second member has a slot having a center plane and a cylindrical channel having a longitudinal centerline. The longitudinal centerline of the cylindrical channel lies within said center plane of said slot. The second member has a grip operatively associated with a spring and moveable between a first extended position and a second compressed position. The grip can selectively secure the axle member of said first member within the cylindrical chamber.
