A fastener unit and related method for securing a board to a support is provided. The fastener unit includes a spacer block, a grip element extending from the spacer block and configured to fit in and engage a groove of the board, and one or more board engagement elements. The board engagement elements can engage the groove of the board, thereby securing the spacer block in a position adjacent the groove to establish a gap between the board and another board. Related methods of use also are provided.

The invention relates to a pier (10), a pier attachment system (1), a method for building the pier (10). The pier attachment system (1) is used for attaching a surface module (2) of the pier to a lower part (6) of the pier. The pier attachment system (1) comprises an attachment bracket (3), an attachment plug (4), and a surface module (2). The attachment plug (4) is adapted to extend between an aperture (21a) in a first surface module (2a) and an aperture (21b) in a second surface module (2b). The attachment bracket (3) is adapted to fasten the attachment plug (4) to a beam (5) of the lower part (6) of the pier and thereby fasten the surface modules (2) to the lower part of the pier (6).

A method and apparatus for assembling a recyclable foldable table made up of six cardboard members that flat-pack into a box for portability and storage are disclosed. In certain embodiments, a foldable table comprises at least one leg member, at least one support member, and at least one tabletop member. In some embodiments, an assembled foldable table may comprise a first leg member, a second leg member, a first tabletop member, a second tabletop member, a left support member, and a right support member. In many embodiments, various members may comprise a plurality of slits that allow members to slot together at specified locations to form an assembled foldable table. In many embodiments, the members are composed of cardboard. By utilizing a foldable table with cardboard members, a user can receive the benefits of a sturdy table without the cost and weight of an alternative table.

The pier attachment system (1) is used for attaching a surface module (2) of the pier to a lower part (6) of the pier. The pier attachment system (1) comprises an attachment bracket (3), an attachment plug (4), and a surface module (2). The attachment plug (4) is adapted to extend between an aperture (21a) in a first surface module (2a) and an aperture (21b) in a second surface module (2b). The attachment bracket (3) is adapted to fasten the attachment plug (4) to a beam (5) of the lower part (6) of the pier and thereby fasten the surface modules (2) to the lower part of the pier (6).

The present invention relates to a modular frame for CNC machining, comprising: a first side panel and a second side panel, each side panel for with an elongated base with a notch at either end and a vertical extension from the base with a notch at the distal end of the vertical extension; a first crossbeam and a second crossbeam, each crossbeam having a notch at either end, the notches on the crossbeam oriented in an opposing direction to the notches on the side panels; and a gantry beam, the gantry beam having a notch at either end, the notches on the gantry beam oriented in an opposing direction to the notches on the side panels, wherein the side panels, crossbeams and gantry beam are user-assembled into the modular frame via alignment and engagement of the respective notches on the crossbeams and gantry beam with the notches on the side panels, and wherein user assembly of the modular frame is performed without the use of tools.

A portable table assembly for indoor and outdoor use is provided herein. The portable table assembly includes a half-wise foldable tabletop, three elongated horizontal rails, and a pair of parallel spaced end panels. The three elongated rails form slotted joints with the pair of parallel spaced end panels such that the rails traverse between and connect the pair of end panels. The tabletop rests atop the pair of end panels and two of the elongated rails to complete the portable table assembly.
