Compression seal groove connector
A plenum housing includes a plurality of construction panels and a plurality of compression seal groove connectors secured between the plurality of construction panels. Each of the plurality of compression seal groove connectors includes a recess having at least one interior surface with at least one compression seal groove.
Refractory tube wall lining for an incinerator
This invention relates to a refractory lining of a tube wall (2) for an incinerator including at least four refractory tiles (3) of ceramic material which are arranged next to and above one another, wherein the tiles at their rear side, which is facing the tube wall (2), are provided with a vertical insertion channel (10) for mounting the tiles upon the holders (7) of the tube wall, wherein a free space (11) is formed between the tiles (3) and the tube wall (2), which space is filled with a curable pouring compound, and wherein a spacer (20) is provided adjacent to four mutually adjoining edges (12) of the at least four refractory tiles (3). Alternative embodiments are characterized by the use of a head bolt, and/or wedge element (50) and/or a flip-element (60).
Method for manufacturing a sandwich panel
A sandwich panel includes a reinforcement member having a recess formed to extend in a longitudinal direction over a predetermined length and open laterally. The thermoplastic resin core material has a rectangular flat board-like shape, and includes a protrusion which is disposed on a peripheral side surface portion thereof and which is capable of being laterally press-fit with respect to the recess. The protrusion has opposing surfaces respectively opposing mutually opposed inner surfaces of the recess, the opposing surfaces being oriented so as to protrude from the peripheral side surface portion. At least one of the opposing surfaces is provided with a plurality of protuberances disposed at an interval in the longitudinal direction. Each of the protuberances has a predetermined height from the opposing surfaces enabling the protuberances to tightly contact the inner surfaces of the recess at the time of press-fitting.
RESILIENT MOUNTING CLIPS, PANEL MOUNT SYSTEMS INCLUDING THE SAME, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Resilient mounting clips, panel mount systems including the same, and associated methods. A resilient mounting clip includes a support structure engagement portion and a panel engagement portion with a plurality of edge extensions and a plurality of outboard panel supports. Each outboard panel support extends from a respective edge extension. Each outboard panel support is configured to move at least substantially parallel to a compression axis when the respective edge extension resiliently flexes with respect to the support structure engagement portion. A panel mount system includes at least one support structure, at least one resilient mounting clip, and at least two panels received by each mounting clip. A method of assembling a panel mount system includes positioning and securing a resilient mounting clip on a support structure and receiving each of a first panel and a second panel with the resilient mounting clip.
System and method of releasably securing a wedge in a gap
Open-topped channels/troughs are often used as a footing in which glass panels may be placed and secured substantially vertically. A tapered wedge may be forced into the gap around the panel. As gradually wider portions of the wedge are forced into the gap, the panel is gripped ever tighter. However, it is often difficult to remove panels secured in this manner. The present invention provides a wedge support which can be separated into two portions by the insertion of a tool into a tool socket. In this way, if a wedge is used with the wedge support, the wedge support may be removed with the tool thereby permitting easy removal of the wedge.
Clamps for securing solar energy panels
Clamp assemblies for mounting solar panels and accessories. Clamp assemblies can have geometric features, shaped apertures for fasteners, and measured protrusions for allowing clamp rotation, lateral adjustment, self-alignment, and angled surfaces for facilitating installation of a solar panel.
RAISED GARDEN BED
A raised garden bed system is comprised of a plurality of corner members configured for adjoining a plurality of plank members. The corner members are configured to be stackable on top of one another and to hold two adjacent ends of the planks at an angle relative to one another.
DOUBLE CONNECTOR FOR BUTT-JOINING TWO PARTS
A double connector for butt-joining two components includes two connector components which can be pushed together as far as a locked assembly position and which each have an spreadable first end portion for inserting into a hole of a component, and a second end portion for spreading the first end portion of the other connector component in each case in the assembly position and at least one locking portion for interlocking the two connector components in the assembly position.
Universal Sloped Roof Solar Panel Mounting System
A universal mounting system for supporting a plurality of photovoltaic modules on a sloped support surface, such as a sloped roof, is disclosed herein. The universal mounting system may include one or more support surface attachment devices, each support surface attachment device configured to attach one or more photovoltaic modules to a support surface; and one or more module coupling devices, each module coupling device configured to couple a plurality of photovoltaic modules to one another.
STRIP AND SLOT BONDED JOINT
Embodiments of a slot bar configured to secure one or more sheet materials are disclosed herein. The slot bar being configured to receive one or more retaining strips. The slot bar includes a base section and a first slot base extending substantially perpendicularly from the base section. The base section and first slot base define a first ledge region. The slot bar also includes a first slot wall extending from the first slot base and a first slot arm extending from the first slot wall. The first slot arm is also substantially parallel to and spatially disposed from the first slot base. The first slot base, the first slot wall, and the first slot arm define a first slot configured to receive the first retaining strip so as to secure a first sheet material between the first retaining strip and the first ledge region.
