Connecting element for connecting profile elements
A connecting element for connecting at least two profile elements, wherein the connecting element is rotatable about an axis of rotation to produce a clamping force, wherein the connecting element has at least one first connecting section and at least one second connecting section, which are each designed to be received in one of the profile elements, wherein the first connecting section has at least one first clamping face, wherein the at least one first clamping face has a predetermined clamping contour, wherein the second connecting section has at least one second clamping face, wherein the first clamping face faces the second connecting section and the second clamping face faces the first connecting section, wherein the first connecting section and the second connecting section are formed such that the profile elements connected by the connecting element extend obliquely relative to each other or crosswise.
INTERNAL CONNECTOR SYSTEM FOR STRUCTURAL MEMBERS
An internal connector system of structural member includes a locking screw with a screw thread. A connector block includes a first bore hole sized and shaped to receive at least a portion of the locking screw, and the connector block is configured to engage with a bolt thread of a bolt. A lock plate has a plate thread that is configured to engage the screw thread of the locking screw. Tightening the locking screw causes the connector block to expand the lock plate.
Connectors
Embodiments of this application relate to connectors configured for coupling to a hollow structure, for joining hollow structures together, and/or for joining a hollow structure to a functional element. A connector may be configured to couple to one or more hollow structures, and may be further configured to couple to one or more functional elements. Exemplary connectors comprise a shell and a plug.
Elbow joint connector
An elbow joint connector includes an elbow portion and a locking mechanism detachably coupled to a distal end of the elbow portion. The locking mechanism including a pair of locking members translatable relative to one another along an interface transverse to a longitudinal axis of the elbow joint connector. Divergent translation of the pair of locking members relative to one another along the interface increases a portion of an outer periphery of the locking mechanism to lock the elbow portion to an adjoining member. The elbow joint connector is configured for detachable coupling to an adjoining elbow joint connector and pivotally rotatable relative thereto from a first configuration in which respective center axes of the connectors form an acute angle to a second configuration in which the respective center axes are collinear.
Apparatus for assembling tubing structures
A structural supporting bearing is comprised of a flange with a hole in the center and a cylindrical hollow tube. The cylindrical tube section is inserted through an appropriately sized hole in hollow fiberglass plastic tubing. The flange creates a stop for the cylinder against the outer wall of the tube. The length of the cylindrical tube is sized to approximately one-half the cross-section of the tube, so as to allow a similar bearing to be mounted to the other side of the tube. A plurality of other structural members is placed over the flanges as desired. The aforementioned assembly is configured to receive a suitably sized bolt through it and be secured in place with a receiving nut.
Modular junction box
Systems, methods, and articles of manufacture for modular junction boxes. Some modular junction boxes may, for example, comprise integral mating elements that are secured in position by mounting of one or more adapters, connectors, or fittings.
Connector device
A connector device for connecting to one or more pipes. The connector device having one or more arms with static and flexible portions. The connector device connects pipes or other types of tubing by inserting the arms of the connector device into the openings of the tubing. A flexibility of the flexible portions enables the connector device to accommodate varying dimensions of inside diameter of pipes or tubing and to provide a friction fit.
METHOD OF ATTACHING A BRACE MEMBER TO A MOUNTING BRACKET
A method of attaching a brace member to a mounting bracket includes providing a fitting comprising a fitting body, a first jaw, and a second jaw, the fitting body defining a top contact surface and a bottom contact surface, the second jaw disposed between the top contact surface and the bottom contact surface; abutting a top side of a peripheral edge of the brace member against the top contact surface and abutting a bottom side of the peripheral edge against the bottom contact surface; coupling the fitting to the brace member; extending a fastener through a lateral body opening of the fitting body, the lateral body opening oriented perpendicular to the first jaw and the second jaw; and attaching the fitting to the mounting bracket with the fastener.
CONNECTOR WITH SHAFT AND CYLINDRICAL BASE EXTENDING FROM FLANGE
The connector is configured to couple a first section and a second section of an e-vaping device, and the connector includes a flange with a first end and a second end, a shaft extending from the first end of the flange, an outer shelf being formed by a portion of the first end of the flange, a cylindrical base extending from the second end of the flange, and an inner shelf within the connector, the cylindrical base and the inner shelf at least partially defining a longitudinal opening, the flange defining at least one first notch, the at least one first notch at least partially along the second end of the flange.
