Connecting structure, connecting method and article containing such connecting structure
The present invention discloses a connecting structure, a connecting method and an article containing the connecting structure. The connecting structure includes a fastener, a first connecting member adjacent to the trailing end of the fastener and a second connecting member away from the trailing end of the fastener. The second connecting member is provided with a threaded connecting hole, which in the axial direction thereof is provided with thread matching with the form of thread of the fastener and having a central angle of at least 180 degrees. The first connecting member is provided with a connecting hole, and the fastener connects the two connecting members through the threaded connecting hole and the connecting hole. The connecting method achieves quick connecting with the connecting hole of the first connecting member by preloading the fastener to the threaded connecting hole, without being affected by the assembly space. The connecting structure and the connecting method can be used in a variety of articles. The thickness of the threaded connecting hole is equal to the pitch of the fastener. The form of thread of the threaded connecting hole is fitted with the thread of the fastener by only one turn, which during processing can be made directly in the form of stamping, resulting in a simple processing and improving the processing efficiency.
Frame Assembly Including A Mount For Interconnecting A Plate Thereto
A mount is provided for mounting a plate to a frame assembly. The mount includes a generally cylindrical head extendable through an aperture the plate and having an upper surface, a lower face, an outer peripheral surface, and an alignment structure receivable in a slot of the frame member of the frame assembly. The cylindrical head includes a bolt-receiving bore extending through the cylindrical head along a bore axis at an acute angle to the upper face that is adapted to receive a bolt therethrough. A flange extends radially extending from the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical head. The flange has a diameter greater than the diameter of at least a portion of the aperture through the plate. Tightening of the bolt captures the plate between the flange and the frame member.

MODULAR FURNITURE ASSEMBLY WITH LOCKING MECHANISM AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
A modular furniture assembly a first strut assembly, a second strut assembly, and a connector. The first strut assembly includes a first strut, a first strut end fitting, and a first locking member. The second strut assembly includes a second strut, a second strut end fitting, and a second locking member. The connector includes a first receptacle and a second receptacle. The first receptacle is configured to accommodate protruding portions of the first strut end fitting. The second receptacle is configured to accommodate protruding portions of the second strut end fitting. The first locking member is configured to interface with the first strut end fitting and couple with the connector to secure the first strut to the connector. The second locking member is configured to interface with the second strut end fitting and couple with the connector to secure the second strut to the connector.
Box carcass assembly method
A method of making a cabinet carcass using a pair of connectable box carcass framework members for the fabrication of non-panel constructed furniture carcasses. It simplifies the construction of a furniture carcass and uses but a minimum of tools and skill to produce a dimensionally square, precisely sized, box that accepts an abundance of aesthetic and functional options. The assembly is based on a pair of mechanical fastener connectable vertical and horizontal members that have connectable zipper channels, linear rabbets for the retention of side panels, screw busses, and open channels with series of spaced orifices therein for the passage of mechanical connectors.
