A fastener system includes a bar, a knob, a bushing, and a washer. The bar extends along an axis and includes a catch at one end and a head at the other end, where the head includes an inclined face. The knob is configured to engage with the catch to prevent relative rotation between the knob and the bar and to prevent separation of the knob and the bar along the axis. The bushing is comprised of an elastomeric material that is positioned around the bar between the catch and the head, where the bushing includes a flange facing the knob. The washer is positioned around the bar between the bushing and the head, where the washer includes an inclined face that contacts the other inclined face. The coefficient of friction between the bushing and the washer is higher than the coefficient of friction between the washer and the head.

A seating product is provided which comprises a metal frame, straps of webbing joined to the metal frame with wire hooks. Each of the wire hooks has a main portion inside a loop created in the strap of webbing and two U-shaped portions extending outside the metal frame. Each of the U-shaped portions secures the wire hook in place without the use of holes in the metal frame, thereby reducing manufacturing costs. A furniture clip system includes a first frame member forming a part of a first furniture section; a second frame member forming a part of a second furniture section; a latch tab member connected to the second frame member; and a furniture clip assembly configured to removably couple the first frame member to the second frame member. The furniture clip assembly includes a latch member rotatably coupled to the first frame member, and configured to removably engage with the latch tab member so as to attach the first frame member to the second frame member; and a handle member operatively coupled to the latch member, the handle member configured to be rotatable between an engaged position where the latch member is locked into engagement with the latch tab member and a disengaged position where the latch member is not locked into engagement with the latch tab member.

Disclosed is a device for supporting and fixing shelves of furniture items, such as bookcases, shelf units and the like. The device includes a casing of substantially cylindrical shape, inside whereof is mounted a pin that is stressed by a compression spring, the device being inserted in the edge of a shelf, with a tip of the pin normally protruding from the edge of the shelf and apt to re-enter the casing when the shelf is brought into interference with a wall of the furniture item, wherein a cam element is provided for the actuation of the pin between a position of maximum extraction and a position of minimum extraction of the tip from the casing, the pin being free to spring to re-enter the casing when the cam element is in the positions of maximum and minimum extraction of the tip.
