Snap ring and bearing assembly including a snap ring
A snap ring for guiding rolling elements between an inner ring and an outer ring of a bearing assembly includes an annular body having an axially facing side surface and a radially extending flange. The body is circular and has a circumferential gap between a first end of the body and a second end of the body and a recess in the side surface near the gap. The recess is configured such that a tool is introducible into the recess from outside the bearing assembly in order to remove the snap ring from the bearing assembly.
Snap ring retention
A retention ring is configured to retain components within a transmission assembly. The retention ring has an annular main body defining an opening through a center thereof. The annular main body defines an outer curved surface and an inner curved surface, the annular main body having a distal face disposed in a distal plane and a proximal face disposed in a proximal plane. A first set of retention features extend from the inner curved surface, and a second set of retention features from the outer curved surface. One of the sets of retention features is configured to engage a backing plate or an outer member, and at least one of the sets of retention features is entirely disposed between the proximal plane and the distal plane. A transmission assembly includes the retention ring and an adjacent external snap ring.
Snap ring retention
A retention ring is configured to retain components within a transmission assembly. The retention ring has an annular main body defining an opening through a center thereof. The annular main body defines an outer curved surface and an inner curved surface, the annular main body having a distal face disposed in a distal plane and a proximal face disposed in a proximal plane. A first set of retention features extend from the inner curved surface, and a second set of retention features from the outer curved surface. One of the sets of retention features is configured to engage a backing plate or an outer member, and at least one of the sets of retention features is entirely disposed between the proximal plane and the distal plane. A transmission assembly includes the retention ring and an adjacent external snap ring.
Rotary fastening device
A rotary fastening device includes a rotating axial member and an inertia member. The rotating axial member includes a base body, an input end, an output end and an engaging portion. The input end is disposed at one end of the base body and selectively connected to a wrench. The output end is disposed at the other end of the base body. The engaging portion is disposed on the base body. The inertia member is detachably connected to the rotating axial member, and includes a gravity portion and an engaging hole. The gravity portion is extended toward the output end of the rotating axial member so as to form an annular space. The engaging hole is communicated to the annular space.
ARRANGEMENT FOR A SHIFTING BRAKE DEVICE
An arrangement for a shifting brake device. The arrangement includes a housing, a reaction plate and a snap ring. The housing and the reaction plate are mechanically connected to each other and the snap ring is arranged in a groove of the housing for locking the reaction plate to the housing such that displacement of the reaction plate relative to the housing in an axial direction is prevented. The groove is arranged on an outside surface of the housing.
Elements and a locking device for an assembled product
A set including a first element with a cylindrical shaped part, a second element having a cylindrical shaped groove with a circular opening in an outer surface of the second element, and a mechanical locking device. The mechanical locking device includes a tongue groove, a displacement groove and a flexible tongue in the displacement groove, and is configured to lock the cylindrical shaped part to the cylindrical shaped groove. The flexible tongue is configured to cooperate with the tongue groove for locking the cylindrical shaped part to the cylindrical shaped groove. The flexible tongue is configured to be reshaped and displaced in the displacement groove during locking, and spring back to a locked position. The flexible tongue is configured to exert a spring force on the tongue groove in the locked position.
Locking mechanism for a plug connector housing
A locking mechanism for first and second housing parts of a housing of a plug connector, includes a push button, which extends in the axial longitudinal direction through an opening of the first housing part into the interior of the housing. The push button is movably arranged, relative to the housing, between predetermined first and second axial positions, which correspond with the first and second positions of the housing parts. The push button and an interior locking element are configured such that the push button is in pressure contact to the locking element and interacts with the locking element such that, in the case of movement of the push button from the first to the second positions a radial pressure contact between the two housing parts is provided such that a gap between the first and second housing parts is minimized.

A quick release mechanism for a wheel includes a hub and a clip, which interact with a wheel or roller that may or may not be part of the invention per se. The hub is disposable on a drive shaft such that it will rotate with the drive shaft. An optional hub cap is disposable on the wheel and has an opening that is complimentary to the geometry of the hub to allow engagement thereof such that the hub the hub cap rotate together. The clip is disposable on the hub in a closed or an open position so that the hub cap cannot or can be removed from the hub.
