SPECIALIZED CONNECTION DEVICES AND METHOD OF USE
An anchor bolt fastener assembly with specialized connection capabilities and features for attaching building components to concrete slabs, walls, ceilings, and/or structural surfaces. Compression force can be established and maintained over time using a compression washer in combination with a specialized fastener stud that is designed to exploit the compression washer benefits. Methods of using exemplary embodiments include installing the anchor bolt fastener assembly relatively flush with the surface of the concrete slurry by direct insertion in the slurry using a specialized threaded anchor bolt float. Once the slurry hardens, the anchor bolt and anchor bolt float embedded in the concrete slurry cooperate with the specialized fastener stud to secure the building component to the concrete.
Bolt and method for manufacturing the same
A bolt and a method for manufacturing the bolt are provided. The bolt includes a screw cap and a bolt bar, the bolt bar includes a positioning bar, a flexible bar and a threaded portion, the positioning bar is connected to one end of the screw cap, and the flexible bar is connected to the positioning bar and the threaded portion respectively. Wherein, an anti-shearing stand is formed on the flexible bar. The threaded portion includes standard threads and transition threads, the transition threads are formed between the flexible bar and the standard threads, and a thread height of the transition threads is smaller than a thread height of the standard threads, wherein the thread height of the standard threads keeps constant. The force distribution of the threads can be optimized, and the threads can effectively cooperate with the threads of the nut.
Side Tensioning System for Retaining Screen Media in a Vibrating-Type Screening Machine
The present invention relates to side tensioning assemblies for retaining screen media to the side plates of a vibrating-type screening machine. The side tensioning assembly includes a tensioning rail and at least one angle box mountable to a side plate. At least one bolt assembly provided for fastening the tensioning rail to the side plate and to angle box. Bolt assembly is provided with is a shoulder bolt that is secured to a terminal end of the bolt. The angle box includes an aperture sized to allow the bolt assembly passage therethrough, and a movable plate with a cutout. The cutout is sized larger than the bolt but smaller than a nut. The movable plate has a bolt-securing position and a bolt-releasing position to allow access to the aperture in the angle box such that the bolt assembly can be detached from the angle box without being disassembled.
BALL PEEN BOLT
A fastener includes a head and a shaft extending from a first end to a second end. The first end is attached to the head. The shaft includes an external thread proximal the second end and a nut having an internal thread and an internal diameter. The second end of the shaft has a first condition and a second condition. In the first condition, an external diameter of the second end corresponds to the internal diameter of the nut such that the internal thread of the nut mates with the external thread of the shaft to attach the nut to the shaft. In the second condition, the external diameter of the second end is greater than the internal diameter of the nut such that the internal thread of the nut does not mate with the external thread of the shaft and the nut, once attached to the shaft, does not detach from the shaft.
Straight shank end screw for foreign-object-debris (FOD) reduction
A fastener which includes a first portion of a shaft which defines threads, and a second portion of the shaft, which extends from the first portion of the shaft, includes a planar curved surface. A method for securing a fastener to an e-nut, which includes the step of inserting the fastener positioned within an e-nut into an opening defined by and which extends through at least two components to be secured together, wherein: a first portion of the shaft of the fastener defines threads; and a second portion of the shaft of the fastener, which extends from the first portion of the shaft, defines a curved planar surface.
Self-tightening Fastening Apparatus for Vibrating Work-parts
A self-tightening fastening apparatus for vibrating work-parts includes a male fastener, a main female fastener, a locking female fastener, an anti-rotation female fastener, and a first compression body. The main female fastener is threadedly engaged around a first threaded-shaft section of the male fastener, wherein a head of the male fastener and the main female fastener compress the vibrating work-parts together. The locking female fastener is threadedly engaged around a second threaded-shaft section of the male fastener. The first compression body is compressed in between the main female fastener and the locking female fastener. The anti-rotation female fastener is threadedly engaged around a third threaded-shaft section of the male fastener.
Liner bolt
A liner bolt (10) comprising an elongate stud (12) and a head (14) engageable with a first end (16) of the stud (12). The head (14) including an inwardly tapered first end portion (24) adjacent a first end (21) thereof. A threaded portion (18) is provided adjacent a second end (17) of the stud for receiving a nut (20). The first end (21) of the head (14) includes an inwardly tapered opening (28) having an internal thread (30) and the first end (16) of the stud (12) includes an inwardly tapered end portion (32) having an external thread (34) such that the first end (16) of the stud (12) is engageable in the opening (28) in the head (14).
SPEED FASTENER
A locking system comprising a block made of a polymer substance having an upper surface and a lower surface. In a normal condition, the block has the following structure. A bore, having a first axis, extends through the block and passes through the upper surface and the lower surface, the bore being shaped to include a taper, whereby an upper end of the bore has a larger diameter than a lower end of the bore, and the bore has an internal surface that is smooth. And, a slot, having a second axis, extends through the block and passes through the upper surface and the lower surface, the slot having a generally planar configuration with a width and a thickness, the slot being positioned such that the first axis and the second axis are co-axial, whereby the slot and the bore form a single continuous opening extending through the block.
Threaded pin
A threaded pin comprises a threaded cylindrical stem that extends between a proximal stem end and a distal stem end, and a coupling end portion that extends from the distal stem end. In the coupling end portion, at least one annular groove is formed, which is distally delimited by a distal annular ridge that defines a maximum outer diameter of the coupling end portion. The maximum outer diameter of the coupling end portion is smaller than the inner diameter of the threaded cylindrical stem in such a way that the coupling end portion may be inserted with play into a threaded hole wherein the threaded pin may be screwed, the distal annular ridge being suitable for insertion between the ridges of the female thread of the threaded hole.
