A stud clip assembly is provided. The stud clip assembly includes a clip having a mounting platform and a retention platform. The mounting platform includes a mounting bore that extends away from the retention platform and that defines a mounting aperture. The mounting aperture includes a threaded portion formed therein and a collar arranged at a first end thereof. The stud clip assembly further includes a fastening element configured to be threaded into the threaded portion of the mounting aperture. The collar is configured to be crimped onto the fastening element.
Nut restrainer, centering tool, and methods of use
In accordance with one or more embodiments of the invention, nut restrainers, centering tools, and methods of use are presented, particularly as applied to high strength bolted connections. Nut restrainers may have an interior profile including a circular profile section and a regular hexagonal profile section, a nut inserted into the nut restrainer may have lateral freedom of movement, and the nut restrainer may have a top plane with one or more centering protrusions. A centering tool for positioning a nut restrainer may have a non-circular head section, a cylindrical positioning section, a threaded section, and a cylindrical restrainer positioning section; a method of positioning a nut restrainer coaxial with a bolt hole using the centering tool.
SPEED FASTENER
A locking system comprising a block made of a polymer substance having an upper surface and a lower surface. In a normal condition, the block has the following structure. A bore, having a first axis, extends through the block and passes through the upper surface and the lower surface, the bore being shaped to include a taper, whereby an upper end of the bore has a larger diameter than a lower end of the bore, and the bore has an internal surface that is smooth. And, a slot, having a second axis, extends through the block and passes through the upper surface and the lower surface, the slot having a generally planar configuration with a width and a thickness, the slot being positioned such that the first axis and the second axis are co-axial, whereby the slot and the bore form a single continuous opening extending through the block.

Spring nut with release
A spring nut for attaching a threaded object to a structure can include first and second arms extending from the base, and a wedge element. The wedge element can be configured to selectively operatively urge the first and second arms apart to release the threaded object from between the first and second arms.
Water heater and cover assembly therefor
A water heater and a cover assembly for the water heater is provided. The water heater includes a mixing valve disposed in fluid communication with each of a hot water conduit and a cold water pipe, to regulate temperature of hot water received from the hot water conduit. The cold water pipe branches from a cold water conduit and extends along a longitudinal axis of the tank to connect with the mixing valve. The cover assembly is mounted on a tank of the water heater. The cover assembly includes a first cover to conceal the cold water pipe, and a second cover to conceal the mixing valve and the hot water conduit extending between the tank and the mixing valve. The second cover is removably coupled to the first cover via one or more coupling elements.
Integrally formed thread lock retention feature
A laundry appliance includes a basement housing comprising a capacitor receiver. A capacitor is disposed within the capacitor receiver to define a secured position. The capacitor receiver includes at least one retaining flange that is coupled to the basement housing via a living hinge. At least one retaining flange is outwardly biased away from a body of the capacitor when the capacitor is placed in an inserted position. At least one retaining flange includes a thread-engaging surface that operates to the secured position upon rotation of the capacitor in the inserted position.

FASTENER AND ARRANGEMENT COMPRISING A FASTENER
Arrangement with a fastener (for the fastening of a covering part to a supporting part comprising a stud, in particular a part of the body of a motor vehicle. The fastener comprises a main body with a first fastening section comprising a cavity adapted to receive the stud, the cavity longitudinally extending along a longitudinal axis, and at least one resilient locking finger having a first end, connected to the main body, and a second end, extending within the cavity, and a catching portion, adapted to engage with the stud in order to fix the fastener to the supporting part. The cavity is laterally and axially accessible, and the catching portion comprises a first and a second fin separated by a gap, wherein the first and second fins face the cavity and the fins and the gap are adapted to support a threaded shaft of a stud and/or the head of a stud.
PUSH-ON FASTENER
A push-on fastener for engagement on a cylindrical stud I disclosed. The push-on fastener comprises a body having oppositely facing first and second exterior surfaces and an outer marginal periphery. A central opening extends axially through the body between the oppositely facing exterior surfaces defining an inner periphery. A first resilient tab includes a first engagement edge and a second resilient tab includes a second engagement edge. The first engagement edge defining an inner periphery of the central opening and the second engagement edge defining a periphery that is outwardly of the inner periphery of the central opening.
