FASTENING SYSTEM FOR SECURING COMPONENTS
20190264724 · 2019-08-29 ·

A fastening system for securing a component includes a first securing element having an engagement end and external toothing, a second securing element having elastic clamp members arranged about a common axis and having internal toothing facing the axis, and a fixing member. The clamps members assume a radial position relative to the axis that is variable due to their elasticity. The clamps are designed such that the second securing element can be pushed onto the engagement end such that the teeth of the engagement end and the clamps snap into each other. The clamps move from a first radial position to an external second radial position to engage or disengage a snapped-in state when shifting the external toothing and the first internal toothing to each other.

FASTENING SYSTEM FOR FASTENING A FIRST COMPONENT AT A VARIABLE SPACING ON A SECOND COMPONENT
20190195261 · 2019-06-27 ·

A fastening system for fastening a first component variably spaced on a second component has a main body, a slide, and an elongate locking element. The main body has a mounting surface for mounting on the first component and a locating surface, through which an elongate depression passes, for fastening to the second component. The main body has a slideway to movably support the slide along the depression and the locating surface. Facing sides of the slide and the depression each have a first tooth system. The locking element fits into the elongate depression and has a second tooth system on two mutually opposite longitudinal sides and engages between the depression first tooth system and the locking element and between the slide and the locking element in a first alignment within the depression and releases it in a second alignment. The mounting surface and locating surfaces are not parallel.

ONE PIECE SCREWS FOR, AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING, BLIND SIDE FASTENERS AND SYSTEMS WITH FREE SPIN FEATURE

Fastener embodiments of the invention comprise a freely translatable collet body, which at least partially translates within an auxiliary structure, and further comprise a captive threaded screw for rotationally engaging with the collet body to transform rotational movement into translational movement through substantial arresting of collet body rotation by way of an anti-rotation means. The screw comprises a free-spin feature that functionally, but not physically, decouples a drive tool from the collet body.

AIRCRAFT FRAMEWORK ASSEMBLY, AIRCRAFT STRUCTURAL FRAMEWORK AND AIRCRAFT WITH AN AIRCRAFT STRUCTURAL FRAMEWORK

A pole-shaped aircraft framework assembly including a first plug-and-turn connector forming a first end, a second plug-and-turn connector forming a second end, the second end opposite the first end, a first rod extending from the first plug-and-turn connector towards the second plug-and-turn connector, and a coupling component coupled to the second plug-and-turn connector for detachable coupling with the first rod. The first rod has a circumferential outer surface including alternately on a circumferential path in a cross-sectional plane of the first rod a ridged section and a plain section. The coupling component includes a tubular part having a circumferential inner surface including alternately on a circumferential path in a cross-sectional plane of the tubular part at least one ridged section and at least one plain section. One of the first rod and the coupling component is rotatable relative to the other one, engaging respective ridges of the first rod and the coupling component.

QUICK-CONNECTED THREAD MECHANISM

Disclosed is a quick-connected thread mechanism comprising an internally-threaded body (1) having internal threads and an externally-threaded body (4) used for matching with the internally-threaded body (1), the internal threads of the internally-threaded body (1) including a plurality of sets of intermittent internal threads (3) circumferentially separated by a plurality of internally-cut faces (2), a plurality of internal thread lines in each set of intermittent internal threads (3) are axially aligned. The external thread of the externally-threaded body (4) include a plurality of sets of intermittent external threads circumferentially separated by a plurality of externally-cut faces (5), and a plurality of external thread lines in each set of intermittent external threads (6) being axially aligned. When the externally-threaded body (4) is used in conjunction with the internally-threaded (1) body, the plurality of internally-cut faces (2) correspond to the plurality of sets of intermittent external threads (6) in shape and number, and the plurality of externally-cut faces (5) corresponds to the plurality of sets of intermittent internal threads (3) in shape and number. The quick-connected thread mechanism of the invention is simple in structure, convenient for manufacture, of low cost, and convenient and durable.

ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT FASTENER

An adjustable height fastener may have a fixed receiver connectable to a fixed structure and an extendible member connectable to the fixed receiver at different locations along a first axis. The extendible member may slide relative to the fixed receiver along the first axis and may selectably connect to fix the fixed receiver and the extendible member in a first location along the first axis.

Self-adjusting spacer device

Self-adjusting spacer device, including a bushing having a cavity with a longitudinal axis, a pin having a shank inserted into said cavity and a head projecting outside of said cavity, the cavity of the bushing and the pin being provided with respective threaded portions that do not extend over the entire circumference of the pin and the cavity, and the pin being rotatable relative to the bushing between (i) an adjustment position in which the threaded portion of the pin is disengaged from the threaded portion of the bushing and the pin is capable of moving axially with respect to the bushing, and (ii) a locking position in which the threaded portion of the pin engages the threaded portion of the bushing and in which the pin is locked axially with respect to the bushing.

STEP THREADS
20180335070 · 2018-11-22 ·

Intermittent screw thread geometry with a rapid step-wise lead feature when external threads are engaged with internal threads of reflective geometry. In an embodiment, thread segments are alternated with unthreaded segments of equal arc length along a helical path of a single-start thread form which results in an odd number of alternating thread/gap features along the helical path per revolution of the thread body. When such external intermittent threads engage internal intermittent threads of reflective geometry, an external thread body can be axially advanced or retracted through an internal thread body in a rapid step-wise fashion by turning the external thread body in either the clockwise or counterclockwise direction, or in both directions alternately, with respect to the internal thread body when a net axial force is applied to the external threaded body with respect to the internal thread body in the desired linear direction of travel.
