Installation System For A Cabin Of A Vehicle
An installation system for a cabin of a vehicle includes at least one built-in component for installation in the cabin, multiple base elements for arrangement on a structurally fixed component of the vehicle and multiple holding devices that can be connected to the at least one built-in component. The holding devices each include a clamping unit with receiving space defined by at least two clamping members, wherein the receiving space can be moved between an open and a closed state through movement of at least one of the clamping members in the direction of the other clamping member in each case and wherein the clamping unit is configured to move the at least one clamping member by pressing the clamping unit onto a base element when the receiving space is in the open state and thereby closing the receiving space including the base element.
Pelican hook
Pelican hooks and related systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, the pelican hook includes a hook that defines a hook gap, a gate for the hook gap, and a gate mechanism. The gate is configured to be opened so as to open the hook gap and is configured to be closed so as to close the hook gap. The gate mechanism includes a gate actuator for opening the gate and a lock actuator for unlocking the gate. To do this, the gate mechanism is configured such that actuating the lock actuator toward the gate actuator unlocks the gate and such that actuating the gate actuator toward the lock actuator opens the gate. In this manner, the user can operate the pelican hook with a single hand and without having to let go of the pelican hook.
LEVER-LOCK RELEASE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A lever-lock release system is configured to releasably couple two objects together, for example a parachute and a payload. The lever-lock release system may comprise a first lever and a second lever, each rotatably coupled to a rigid base. When activated, the levers cascadingly rotate to release a first object and a second object. With these systems and related methods, various failure modes may be eliminated, such as undesired premature deployment of recovery parachutes during aerial delivery.
CARABINER WITH CONTAINER GATE
A carabiner having a container or empty section with the gate or solid gate. The gate may have a cap with a threaded section such that when the gate is pulled away from the body, the cap may be screwed off to reveal the empty section of the gate. The empty section may store items for the user. The cap may be received into the nose section of the carabiner when the spring forces the gate closed. A fire starting implement may be provided on the carabiner. The gate may rotate inward or outward with respect to the carabiner body.
Clamp assembly
A clamp assembly having a clamp, a handle, and a clip. The handle is shaped so as to provide a novel and improved method and apparatus to hold shoes to a golf bag. The topline of the shoe is securely held by the clamp. The handle is attached to the clamp. And the clip is attached to the handle and can clip to a golf bag. The clip may be a carabiner clip.
PELICAN HOOK
This disclosure relates to pelican hooks and related systems.
Double-lock carabiner
A locking carabiner includes a body having a first end and a second end. A gate rotatably coupled to the second end about a gate axis, and a locking mechanism rotatably coupled to the gate about a locking mechanism axis. The locking member is configured to engage with the first end, and the gate axis is substantially parallel to, and offset from, the locking mechanism axis. Additionally, the rotation of the locking mechanism is in a substantially similar plane as the rotation of the gate.
INTERCHANGEABLE ARM QUICK RELEASE MECHANISM FOR CHEST PRESS EXERCISE MACHINE
A quick release mechanism for an exercise arm assembly enabling a user to switch exercise arms very quickly, the mechanism having: (a) an elongated body; (b) a curved aperture passing laterally across a distal end of the elongated body, cutting downwardly through the elongated body, and being angled towards the distal end of the elongated body; (c) a button assembly positioned near the distal end of the elongated body, moveable to either project into or project away from the aperture; and a biasing member that urges the extending portion of the button assembly into the locked position.
ATTACHMENT MEMBERS FOR A SLINGBAR COMPONENT OF A LIFT SYSTEM
A slingbar includes a sling attachment member. The sling attachment member includes a frame including a base having a top end and a bottom end, and a hook extending from the bottom end to a hook terminus. The hook terminus and the top end of the base define an opening. The hook, base, and opening bound an interior of the attachment member. A closure element includes an outboard gate hinged to the hook terminus and an inboard gate hinged to the base. The gates have a default state in which each gate extends laterally only part way across the opening.
Stab-connectable sister hook
Sister hook type tool assemblies comprise mating arms having C shape lower ends grip portions that terminate in jaws. The arms preferably are held between two spaced apart housings. The arms, and housings when present, are held together by a fastener at the upper end of the assembly. The arms pivot relative to one another and to the mated housings. Each housing has a pair of forks at one end which define a U shape opening. An object received in the opening is retained when the jaw ends arms overlappingly close the fork opening, due to action of spring. The V shape lower end contour of the mated arms and inclined surfaces of the fork tips cause a rigid object to open the jaws when the tool is thrusted at the object. The jaws then close under spring force, capturing the object. Optional locking means are used to keep the jaws from unintentionally opening.
