BRAKE ASSEMBLY FOR HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE PATIENT TRANSPORT APPARATUS
There is provided a patient transport apparatus. The apparatus includes a height-adjustable assembly having a longitudinal axis. The apparatus includes a brake cable. The brake cable includes an elongate portion extending along the height-adjustable assembly and includes a slack portion. The apparatus includes a brake cable housing coupled to and axially offset from the height-adjustable assembly. The slack portion of the brake cable is enclosed within a hollow interior of the brake cable housing.
Indexing and synchronizing clip
An exemplary clip assembly for adjusting a length of a cable includes a base including a tab and a first stop member, a cover rotatably coupled to the base, and a barrel assembly nesting within the base and the cover. The base and the cover define a first passage extending longitudinally through the cover and the base. The barrel assembly includes a first barrel member having a first interaction surface and a first threaded channel, and a second barrel member includes a second interaction surface and a second threaded channel. The first and second interaction surfaces form a barrel interaction surface and the first and second channels define a second passage through the barrel assembly. The first and second passages have a common longitudinal axis and rotation of the barrel interaction surface results in longitudinal translation of the cable through the second passage of the barrel assembly.
Electronic Cable Puller
An electronic cable puller for a bicycle includes a housing, a drive supported by the housing, and an adjuster connected to the housing. The drive is powerable by a power source and is configured to pull the shift cable into or allow the shift cable to be pulled out of the electronic cable puller. The adjuster is configured to adjust a length of the shift cable relative to a sheath.
TERMINAL SECURING DEVICE
[Problem] To provide a terminal securing device the size of which can be reduced. [Solution] When a key lock 7 is positioned in a second position a key 6 and the key lock 7 are arranged at overlapping positions in the lengthwise direction of a rod 3, so a portion of a space for displacing the key lock 7 from the second position to a first position can be provided at a position overlapping the key 6 in the lengthwise direction of the rod 3. Thus, an increase in the size of a holder 4 in the lengthwise direction of the rod 3 can be avoided, so the size of the terminal securing device 1 can be reduced.
Brake assembly for height-adjustable patient transport apparatus
A patient transport apparatus includes a height-adjustable assembly having a longitudinal axis, and a brake assembly comprising a brake cable. The brake cable includes an elongate portion extending along the height-adjustable assembly and a slack portion. The patient transport apparatus further includes a brake cable housing coupled to and axially offset from the height-adjustable assembly. The slack portion of the brake cable is enclosed within a hollow interior of the brake cable housing.
Cable assembly for use with a vehicle
A Bowden cable, including a cable transmitting tensile force from an operator side to an active side and a sheath guiding the cable, and a retention device arranged at an end side of the sheath limiting movement of the cable with respect to the sheath in the direction of the operator side. The retention device operative to allow movement of the cable with respect to the sheath when a tensile force acting between the cable and sheath exceeds a threshold value.
Cable adjuster
A cable adjuster is provided for a small vehicle including a bicycle. The cable adjuster includes a base portion and a control structure. The control structure includes a first member, a second member and a clutch mechanism. The first member is configured to be rotatably mounted to the base portion about a first axis. The second member is attached to the first member to rotate relative to the first member. The clutch mechanism is configured to transmit rotational force applied to the second member to the first member. The clutch mechanism is also configured to prevent from transmitting rotational force applied on the first member to the second member.
Component System Of A Vehicle
The disclosure relates to a component system of a vehicle comprising a vehicle element which is displaceable in relation to a base element and connected to a drive cable system which can be driven by a drive and comprises a first cable unit and a second cable unit which is connected to the first cable unit via a connecting unit. The connecting unit comprises a coupling box in which a spring element acting on a cable of the first cable unit is disposed.
Bicycle control device
A control device for a human powered vehicle includes a base member configured to clamp a handlebar. The base member defines a clamping axis in a mounted state where the base member clamps the handlebar. The control device includes an operating member configured to be arranged by sliding movement on the base member between a rest position and an operated position in a circumferential direction of the base member. The operating member has a connecting portion to which a control cable is connected. The operating member is removably arranged on the base member, and the operating member is positioned on the base member with a tension of the control cable. The control device includes an inner member configured to be accommodated in the base member and to be arranged around the handlebar such that the operating member is at least partly arranged between the base member and the inner member.
