SPECIES SPECIFIC FEEDER
Animal feeders are disclosed that include a barrier limiting access to feed inside the feeder, doors controlled by an actuator and a control system configured to feed certain species to the exclusion of others by the recognition of those species. Cameras and, in some cases, other detectors are used to detect and identify animals by species. Doors may be configured to be open by default and remain open for the feeding of desired animals with the doors closing to prevent feeding upon the approach of an animal targeted for exclusion.
Anti-Cockroach Bowls and Devices
A cockroach resistant container to prevent ambient cockroach intrusion.
SMART PET FEEDER
The present disclosure discloses a smart pet feeder, motor drives the rotating mechanism to rotate, and the rotating mechanism quantitatively pushes the pet food in the support into a sliding chute, and the pet food falls into the food bowl through the sliding chute, which effectively achieves smart quantitative feeding of pets in either an automatic manner or a manual manner.
PET FEEDERS
This invention general relates to animal feeders, an animal feeding monitor and a method of training an animal to use a feeder. An animal feeder may have a housing comprising an aperture for a food bowl (8) and having a door for covering the aperture, the feeder comprising a door mechanism to control movement of the door over the aperture, wherein the feeder comprises a sensor to detect when an animal has moved away from the aperture, and the feeder is configured to be operable in a training mode wherein the door mechanism is operable to control the door to cover a portion of the aperture in response to a said detection and to respond to one or more later said detections by controlling the door to cover a portion of the aperture larger than the preceding said portion.
Surfaces coated with high viscosity index petroleum based gel and methods for use as a barrier to crawling insects
Means and methods for preventing crawling insects from infesting a site where food, water, or garbage is located. In particular, this relates to creating a non-poisonous barrier in the path of the insects by coating a surface with a layer of high viscosity index petroleum based gel (HVIP-gel). One embodiment is an insect deterrent cup that is comprised of an inverted (upside down) cup whose inner surface is coated with a layer of PetrolGel. The insect deterrent cup is positioned between the food site and the crawling insects, blocking their path. This prevents crawling insects from accessing the food, water, or garbage.
Pet feeding bowl assembly
A pet feeding bowl assembly for inhibiting insects from accessing animal feed includes disk that is positionable on a support surface. A bowl is coupled to and extends upwardly from the disk and animal feed can be positioned in the bowl. The bowl is centrally positioned on the disk such that the disk defines a moat surrounding the bowl. In this way the moat inhibit insects from accessing the bowl when the moat is filled with a fluid. A spout is integrated into the bowl and the spout is directed toward the moat defined by the bowl and the disk. In this way the fluid can be poured into the spout for filling the moat.
Automatic pet feeder with intelligent push-pull and anti-cockroach functions
The present invention discloses an intelligent push-pull anti-cockroach automatic pet feeder, including a feeder main body, wherein the feeder main body includes a base, a driving device is arranged in the base, a base cover is arranged on the base, a grain barrel is arranged above the base cover, a grain barrel cover is arranged above the grain barrel, a grain conveying trough is formed in the base cover, a grain conveying push block is slidingly arranged in the grain conveying trough, a grain toggling sheet is arranged above the grain conveying push block, a grain outlet is formed at a front side of the base corresponding to the grain conveying trough, a grain leakage-preventing blocking sheet is arranged at a front end of the grain conveying push block, an anti-cockroach sealing strip is arranged at a front end of the grain conveying push block, the top of the driving device and the grain conveying push block are connected to each other, a feeding basin is arranged on the front side of the base corresponding to the lower part of the grain outlet, and during packaging, the grain barrel is placed above the feeding basin and the base is placed in the grain barrel. The intelligent push-pull anti-cockroach automatic pet feeder has a simple structure and can realize anti-insect and moisture-proof functions.
System and Method for an Animal Puzzle Bowl for Mental Stimulation of Senior Animals
An animal puzzle bowl is disclosed having a plurality of sockets and a lid with a coupling joint configured to couple with those sockets in a plurality of orientations. The lid may include elements such as a lip or grip for an animal to interact with to allow for opening of the lid so the animal may reach the contents of the bowl. The lids may also include holes so the animal may be encouraged to interact with the bowl by the sight or smell of food or other items of interest. The bowl base can include more than one bowl to allow for a combination of lids to be used. By varying the combination and orientation of the lids an animal must problem solve to reach a desired item in the bowl each time, thus mentally stimulating the animal.
Automated Pet Bowl Apparatus
A pet bowl system and apparatus equipped with an immobilized base, bowls, and automated lid is described. The system employs a series of mounts to ensure that the base remains in a fixed position. The system is configured for use indoors or outdoors by conventional domesticated animals. A proximity-triggered automatic lid is present atop the base which is configured to prevent the introduction of contaminants to the contents of the bowls, as well as to prevent use of the system by unwanted animals and pests. An RFID reader is preferably disposed within the base which is configured to communicate with an RFID tag placed on the collar of the pet. The lid opens upon approach of the pet, and is closed upon departure of the pet from the system.
