Sensor bearing housing
A sensor bearing housing assembly for use with or integrally formed with a bearing housing. The bearing housing having a base portion defining a footprint, a shaft receiving collar, and a bearing race disposed between the shaft receiving collar and the bearing housing. The sensor bearing housing assembly having a pair of lengthwise sidewalls configured to extend upward from the base portion and an endwise sidewall configured to extend upward from the base portion. The pair of lengthwise sidewalls and the endwise sidewall being joined to form a sensor volume for receiving a sensor therein generally defined within a vertical volume bounded by the footprint of the base portion. The sensor bearing housing assembly having a cutout formed in at least one of the pair of lengthwise sidewalls and the pair of endwise sidewall to permit access to a fastener extending through a mounting hole formed in the base portion.
Electric Motor and Blade Assembly for a Lawn Mower
A configuration of a direct drive lawnmower spindle assembly to protect sensitive electric motor components is provided. A spindle shaft of the spindle assembly is supported by upper and lower bearings. An upper end of the spindle shaft is mounted to a rotor of the electric motor and a lower end of the spindle shaft extends through the clearance opening. The lower bearing is supported by a lower bearing carrier that is mounted to the bottom of the spindle housing. The lower bearing can be serviced by removing the lower bearing carrier. A clearance gap between the spindle shaft and the clearance opening is sufficiently small to limit spindle shaft tipping to a degree that will not damage the motor. The invention also provides a friction coupling system for coupling a blade with the rotating spindle shaft.

Serviceable bearing assembly
A rolling assembly having a rolling bearing provided with a first ring and with a second ring capable of rotating concentrically relative to one another, and with a plurality of rolling elements disposed between the first and second rings. The assembly further includes a bearing mounting and dismounting device having a supporting shaft to which the first ring of the rolling bearing is mounted, and a sleeve slidably mounted on the supporting shaft between a remote position from the rolling bearing and a close position in which the sleeve is in axial contact with the second ring of the rolling bearing.

Method and system for dynamically adjusting bearing support stiffness and damping
A bearing support system includes a bearing disposed within a bearing housing. A bearing damper is disposed around the bearing and includes one or more knitted mesh pads. A compression ring is positioned to be movable relative to the bearing housing and to apply a compression to the bearing damper that results in a change in at least one of a length and a wall thickness of each knitted wire mesh pad and a corresponding change in the stiffness and bearing of the damper. The system supports rotation of a shaft and may include one or more sensors to measure vibrations in the shaft and a controller to control movement of the compression ring in response to the mechanical vibrations.
Rolling bearing
A rolling bearing includes an outer ring as a fixed ring, an inner ring as a rotary ring, and rolling elements disposed between the outer ring and the inner ring. The outer ring includes, on the radially opposite side of its raceway surface, a fitting surface fitted to a mating member, two annular grooves in which elastic members are fitted, and a recess adjacent to the annular grooves, and the recess has a bottom surface having an outer diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the fitting surface.

IMPROVEMENT IN THE RADIAL LOCKING OF A BLADE PIVOT WITH ADJUSTABLE ORIENTATION FOR A TURBOMACHINE FAN HUB
The invention relates to a blade pivot with adjustable orientation for a turbomachine fan hub, comprising a stud having means for retaining a fan blade root and coupling means for the transmission of a torsional torque, a rolling bearing for absorbing the centrifugal forces having an inner bushing mounted in transverse abutment against an external radial portion of the stud, a ring for radially retaining the stud relative to the rolling bearing housed in an annular groove formed in the stud, a plurality of clamping parts each mounted in transverse abutment against the retaining ring and in radial abutment against the inner bushing of the rolling bearing, and a clamping nut screwed onto an outer thread of the stud to come into conical abutment against the clamping parts such that said clamping parts ensure a clamping of the inner bushing of the rolling bearing on the stud and a clamping
