Animal feed dispenser
An animal feed dispenser, in particular for horses, comprising a downwardly open, substantially vertically oriented tube with at least one filling opening for animal feed that is arranged in the upper portion of the tube. At least two elastic cables which project through in the interior transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis of the tube are arranged above one another, wherein a clearance remains above each cable and in each case allows only the reception of an individual portion unit of the animal feed, and wherein each cable is connected to an end of an associated pulling element which is guided outwardly substantially normal to the respective elastic cable via an opening in the tube wall, wherein a biting element is fastened to the end of the pulling element that is situated outside the tube.
Fun pet feeder
A fun pet feeder, comprising a shell, a cavity for housing food provided in an upper part of the shell, a food sliding area in a lower part of the shell, a leaky channel capable of being opened and closed between the cavity and the food sliding area, a elastic part in the cavity, a feedstuff outlet provided in a lower part of the cavity, with a lower end of the elastic part resting in the feedstuff outlet, and feedstuff outlet dents provided on the lower end of the elastic part; when the elastic part remains in an initial position, the feedstuff outlet dents are above the feedstuff outlet, the food cannot reach the food sliding area and when the elastic part is pressed and goes downward, the feedstuff outlet dents enter the feedstuff outlet and the feedstuff enters the food sliding area.
SWINE ACTIVATED FEEDER WITH ACTUATION SENSOR
A sensor assembly on a swine-activated self-feeder allows monitoring or tracking of individual animal feeding activity, thereby allowing corrective action to be taken in instances of under-feeding or over-feeding by an animal. The sensor assembly includes a sensor on the feed dispenser and, with a printed circuit board to generate a signal corresponding to activation of the dispenser by an animal. The signal can be sent to a computer or website which generates reports on the individual animal's feeding activity.
SPIRALING FRUSTOCONICAL DISPENSER
A device for sequentially dispensing individual objects includes a housing having a first housing portion which is conically-shaped. The first housing portion has a first end proximate a supply of objects and a second end proximate a location where the objects are to be dispensed. There is a spiral race, disposed on an interior surface of the first housing portion and extending from the first end to the second end of the first housing portion, along which the objects to be dispensed travel.
PET FEEDING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SUPPLYING AND OPENING CAPSULES
A pet feeding device (10) and method for supplying and opening filled containers (12) are presented, wherein a lid of a container being opened and/or folded back in a direction opposite to the opening direction is biased in a direction opposite to the opening direction.
Instrumented device for characterising the capacity of a mouse to orientate itself
A device is provided for studying the ability of at least one mouse to find its bearings in a maze, the device including a plurality of houses distributed around a central agora and in which at least one stimulator allows the at least one mouse to carry out certain activities and/or satisfy certain primary needs. Each house further includes at least one sensor for measuring the activity of the mouse in the house, and more particularly its use of the at least one stimulator. Finally, a sensor makes it possible to detect and measure the movements of each mouse in the device. Quantitative parameters originating from these measurements thus make it possible to highlight the quality of the geographical memory of the at least one mouse.
VERTICALLY-ORIENTED FOOD MAZE FOR ANIMALS
A vertically-oriented interactive treat dispensing device for animals provides for storage of treats in a top portion, which then dispenses a treat through an input buffer into a middle portion with a set of adjoining ramps. The treat is initially retained at a resting point at a top of each ramp before it is advanced down the ramps upon physical interaction between the treat and the animal via an interaction opening adjacent the resting point. Once the treat advances down the lowest ramp, it exits the device and can be retrieved by the animal. Additional features may include electronic dispensing of treats from the top portion, incorporation of the device into a play or animal house structure, the use of an interaction lever for advancing the treats, an access arm for accessing the interior housing, and specially-designed disc-shaped treats to roll easily through the device.
AUTOMATIC DOG BACK SCRATCHER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING SAME
An automatic dog back scratcher system that scratches a dog, comprising a frame assembly; a housing covering the frame assembly; a movable arm assembly supported by the frame assembly and including a movable finger assembly; a treat dispenser assembly; a camera; a motion sensor; a controller configured to sense motion of an object via the motion sensor, determine the object in motion is a dog via the camera, dispense a treat via the treat dispenser assembly to attract the dog to a location adjacent to the automatic dog back scratcher system, and operate the movable arm assembly to move the arm adjacent to the dog and scratch the dog with the movable finger assembly.
Feeding toy for feeding pets through pet's autonomous pressing
A feeding toy for feeding pets through pet's autonomous pressing, comprising a main body and a food storage bin, wherein a bottom plate is arranged on a bottom of the main body, a feeding trough and a food outlet are arranged on the main body, a sliding channel is arranged on the bottom plate, an upper end of the sliding channel is configured to be a food blocking wall, a food leakage port is arranged on a side of the food storage bin, an adjusting baffle is arranged at an upper end of the food leakage port, a food tray is arranged at a lower end of the food storage bin; when the food storage bin is not pressed down, an outer edge of the food tray is lower than a lower end of the food leakage port, and the food leakage port and the food blocking wall fit together.
SMART INTEGRATED SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AND FEEDING PETS
A method for monitoring and feeding pets includes identifying pre-defined feeding time for a pet of one or more pets and playing audio for a specific pet based on the identified feeding time. The method also includes of receiving a data signal indicating real-time coordinates of the pet to determine a real-time distance of the pet from a pet feeder. The method also includes determining an amount of pet food to be fed to the pet and calculating an amount of pet food to be dispensed to the pet based on the determined amount of pet food and/or a current amount of pet food in a pet feeding container. Additionally, the method also includes of controlling a motor to move flaps of the pet feeder to dispense the calculated amount of pet food into the pet feeding container.
