SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GUIDING A TARGET
A method of using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to guide a target includes receiving sensor data from one or more sensors of the UAV, detecting a behavior or an action of the target based on the received sensor data, and initiating a feedback to the target in response to the detected behavior or action for guiding the target while the UAV is in flight. The feedback includes at least one of an audio stimulus, a visual stimulus, an olfactory stimulus, or an attractor.
DRONE FOR HERDING HERD ANIMALS
A system (30) for herding herd animals, the system comprising: a database (33) comprising executable instructions for each of a plurality of herding gestures that are executable by a drone to control movement of a herd of animals; and at least one drone (80) having a controller comprising a processor operable to execute the instructions to control the at least one drone to perform the gestures and autonomously control the herd.
Corrective collar utilizing geolocation technology
The disclosed technology includes a pet collar that can be configured to determine its geolocational position and evaluate that position with respect to the geo-fence of a predetermined, geo-fenced “safe” zone. If the collar determines that its position is inside a safe zone but is near the geo-fence, the collar may be configured to provide a warning correction. If the collar determines that it is outside a predetermined safe zone, the collar can also be configured to provide a stronger correction to discourage the pet from continuing away from the safe zone. The collar may also be configured to guide the pet back to the safe zone such as by varying the strength and/or type of correction provided based at least in part on the distance of the collar from the geo-fence.
Dual-purpose dog training device
The utility model discloses a dual-purpose dog training device including a remote controller and a receiver. The remote controller is provided with a function switching key. A main control board is connected to at least one of a vibration motor or an ultrasonic generator or an electric shock electrode. The main control board is provided with a dog training control unit and a bark stopping control unit, respectively. The dog training control unit or the bark stopping control unit is separately connected to the vibration motor or the ultrasonic generator or the electric shock electrode, respectively. The main control board receives an instruction of the function switching key to switch a control unit for controlling the vibration motor or the ultrasonic generator or the electric shock electrode between the dog training control unit and the bark stopping control unit, so as to switch an operating mode of the receiver between a dog training mode and a bark stopping mode. The dual-purpose dog training device provided by the utility model may be used as both a dog training device and a bark stopping device. By pressing the function switching key, the receiver may be switched between two function modes of the dog training device and the bark stopping device.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING A SUBJECT IN A PREMISE
A system is described herein that comprises a communications device periodically transmitting a radio frequency signal, wherein the periodically transmitted signal includes data. The system includes a receiver detecting the periodically transmitted signal, the detecting including measuring strength of the periodically transmitted signal, the detecting including using the signal strength to provide a first estimate of the receiver’s distance from the communications device. The system includes the communications device comprising at least one location sensor for determining an additional distance indication, wherein the data includes the additional distance indication. The system includes the receiver performing a function when the first estimate meets at least one criterion and when the additional distance indication indicates a first state.
MONITORING OF PET STATUS DURING UNATTENDED DELIVERY
Systems and techniques are described for pet monitoring during unattended delivery. In some implementations, a monitoring system monitors a property includes sensors located throughout the property and generates sensor data. A monitor control unit receives a first indication that a resident of the property will be receiving a delivery during a delivery time. Based on the sensor data and during the delivery time, the monitor control unit determines that a pet, that resides at the property, has been restrained. The monitor control unit provides, to a delivery person, a second indication that the pet at the property has been restrained.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUS FOR ESTABLISHING KEEP OUT ZONES WITHIN WIRELESS CONTAINMENT REGIONS
A system comprising a first transmitter for transmitting a first signal at a first frequency and a second transmitter for transmitting a second signal at a second frequency. The system includes a collar unit comprising a filter for receiving a combined signal, wherein the combined signal comprises the first signal and the second signal, wherein the filter includes a first antenna for detecting the first signal and a second antenna for detecting the second signal. The collar unit includes at least one signal analysis component configured to analyze the first signal and the second signal. The collar unit is configured to instruct a stimulus delivery unit to deliver a stimulus to the animal when the first signal voltage falls below a first value and the second signal voltage exceeds a second value.
Methods and systems for deterring animals to approach or enter identified zones
A system and method for deterring animals, such as pets, from entering, getting onto, or being in certain defined zones/locations created by a user. The pet monitoring system includes a smart collar configured to communicate with a plurality of powered transceivers/transmitters, particularly Bluetooth transmitters and transceivers. Each of the transceivers or transmitters has a unique ID associated with it. The smart collar, a smartphone or other wireless communicating device can read and record the signal strength of each of the transmitters at various locations and use that information to create prohibited zones that can be downloaded onto the smart collar. The smart collar can also contain a stimulus emitter for providing a warning to the animal and a communication device configured to alert the owner.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ANIMALS
A method for controlling a stimulus apparatus configured to be worn by an animal, the stimulus apparatus comprising a controller interfaced with a location sensor and at least one stimulus output for providing a stimulus to the animal, the method comprising: receiving a boundary specification and monitoring the location of the stimulus apparatus with respect to the boundary defined by the boundary specification; determining an expanded boundary; identifying a transition condition including a transition zone, the transition zone comprising at least a portion of the expanded boundary; monitoring the location of the stimulus apparatus; determining that the location of the stimulus apparatus is within the transition zone; in response, reducing the size of the boundary such that the boundary includes the transition zone and excludes at least a portion of the boundary before expansion, and associated system and device.
