11684040 · 2023-06-27 ·

A therapeutic toy device for an animal user. The device comprises an internal spine simulator comprising a plurality of weighted vertebra simulators, all coupled together in a manner intended to somewhat resemble the spine of a prey animal. The toy device is configured so that when the animal user plays with the toy, the act mimics the sensation of tackling an actual prey animal. This satisfies the animal's predatory instincts, and thus gives the animal a more meaningful and satisfying sensory-motor experience, thus improving well-being. The device may optionally be surrounded by a covering, which may be a removable washable covering, and optionally configured with other elements such as one or more straps, limb simulators, internal stuffing or padding, and other features. The toy device may be configured in varying weights and configurations based on the size, weight, and play-drive of an animal user.

20170360005 · 2017-12-21 ·

An animated squeaky pet toy provides an animated, chewable pet toy that emits a squeaky sound when compressed from multiple directions and pressures due to an alternating pattern of accordion and bulbous sections. An elongated compressible inner chamber provides a generally elongated body portion having an alternating pattern of at least one accordion section and at least one bulbous section. The accordion section includes multiple folds that produce air flow when pulled or compressed laterally. The bulbous section increases the diameter of the body portion, and can be compressed axially and diagonally to produce air flow. The compressible inner chamber includes a pair of ends having an aperture. A reed passes through each aperture. The reed vibrates to produce a squeaky sound when air flow passes through either aperture. An animated outer chamber encapsulates the compressible inner chamber to transfer compressive forces to the body portion of compressible inner chamber.

Tug-toy tooth brush

Embodiments are directed to a tug-toy tooth brush. In one example, the tug-toy tooth brush includes a structural frame that provides support for at least one sliding element. The structural frame includes channels that guide the sliding element while sliding within the structural frame. The sliding element is configured to slide from a first position to a second position within the structural frame. The sliding element includes bristles that extrude through the structural frame. The tug-toy tooth brush also includes at least one handle attached to a distal end of the sliding element, where the handle is configured for travel through the structural frame.
