Method of filling feeding pans as well as a feeding system
A feeding system for freely moving poultry or other small animals including a feeding pan with an outer distribution cone. An overlying horizontal transport channel for feed is provided above the distribution cone having a passage for regular feeding, and the feed passes through the opening at the top of the distribution cone to the inner side of the distribution cone. There is a passage for initial feeding out of the transport channel, arranged such that the feed passes out of the initial feeding passage and impinges on separate chutes externally on the distribution cone having a dividing line between the two chutes.
Controlled Pan Feeder for Distribution of Livestock Feed
The invention is a system and method for controlled distribution of livestock feed to a plurality feeders along a feed line in a livestock enclosure. In a preferred embodiment, the feed is conveyed in predetermined quantities from a receptacle through the feed line to the feeders connected to the feed line. The feeders preferably comprise a portion configured to receive a measured quantity of feed from an orifice in the feed line and allow the flow of feed through the feeder, a pan, and a damper member housed by the feeder and configured to controllably block the flow of feed through the feeder into the pan. The respective damper members of the feeders are preferably controlled by an actuation mechanism that, when actuated, simultaneously moves the damper members from the feed flow blocking position in the feeders to an open position, thereby allowing feed to flow into all respective pans of the plurality of feeders along the feed line simultaneously.
Method and apparatus for a supplemental spring loaded feeder
An apparatus and method is described for a supplemental feeder system that provides a spring loaded supplemental feeder mounted on and spaced along a feed line. The spring loaded supplemental feeder acts as control that controls one or more follower supplemental feeders that is attached to control the one or more distally space apart supplemental feeders to dispense feed. The apparatus includes a pair of left and right annular collar clamps spaced apart and a tubular collar coaxial with respect to the left and right annular collar clamps and rotationally attached to the left and right annular collars. An extension tube having an interior extension channel is communicably attached to an interior channel of the tubular collar.
FEEDING SYSTEM FOR POULTRY
The present disclosure envisages a feeding system for poultry. The system includes a plurality of first and second pan assemblies that are attached to a conveyor. The conveyor is driven by a main drive unit consisting of combination of prime mover/s and push belt drive to facilitate simultaneous movement of the pan assemblies. An IFH-station is provided for supplying ration to the pan assemblies. The difference in physical characteristic of male and female birds is considered while designing the first and second pan assemblies to deter the male and female birds to access ration from each other's pan assemblies. The system helps in proper ration quantity to male and female birds to enhance their economic value.
POULTRY FEEDER LIGHT AND LIGHT ASSEMBLY
A lighting system for a poultry feeding house includes a wire harness attachable to an existing feeding house shocker wire or feed auger pipe and a lighting fixture positioned beneath the wire harness and positionable on the feed auger pipe. The lighting fixture includes dual-color LED components using two independently controlled channels. A wire connection secured to the wire harness encapsulates wire leads to power and control the lighting fixture.
Weighing module for a nest in a poultry management system and nest
A weighing module for a nest in a poultry management system comprises a floor for receiving poultry or a nesting pad and a mounting device with which the weighing module can be attached to an animal holding installation, wherein the floor is supported by a weighing element.
MODULE FOR POULTRY FARMING CAGES
A module for poultry farming cages, to be inserted in a cage for egg-laying hens which is provided with a bottom which is inclined toward a lateral slot for the egress of eggs toward egg collection elements. The module comprises elements for preventing the egress of chicks through the slot and elements for providing feed dispensers and drinking troughs to the animals which are adapted to their respective growth phases.
POULTRY FEEDER
The feed leveler on a poultry feeder has a plurality of feet provided on an inward facing surface of the feed skirt. A feed pan has a pedestal extending up from a pan floor configured to engage with one of the plurality of feet. Each foot is positioned at a different vertical position along a longitudinal axis of the feed leveler. The pan floor has a central core, wherein a lower portion of a drop tube extends through the central core and a retainer is fastened to a bottom end of the drop tube to mount the feed pan and feed leveler on the drop tube such that the feed pan and the feed leveler can slide along a vertical axis of the drop tube so the poultry feeder engages a ground surface on which the feed pan is received in a telespcoping manner.
Variable dimension poultry feeder
A feed hopper with two chute members is provided. The chutes are movable with respect to one another and one chute has an extending lip to engage the inner surface of the other chute to prevent feed from escaping the hopper.
FEEDING DISPENSER FOR ANIMAL BREEDING WITH IMPROVED ADJUSTMENT OF THE FEED LEVEL
An automatic feeding dispenser (100) for poultry breeding is described, comprising in general a cylindrical feed supply conduit (10), an accumulation tray (20) to supply the feed to poultry and a shutter (30) having at least one cylindrical portion (35), outer sliding and rotatable with respect to the supply conduit (10). The cylindrical portion (35) of the shutter (30) and the cylindrical supply conduit (10) are coupled and free to slide between one another by means of a protuberance (231, 31) engaged in a groove (11, 211). The groove (11, 211) is shaped to provide two bearing seats at different heights, respectively an upper height and a lower height. The upper bearing seat of the two bearing seats is defined by a bump (215) that can be surmounted by the protuberance (231, 31) by elastic deformation of part of the cylindrical supply conduit (10) and/or part of the cylindrical portion (35) of the shutter (30) following an upward or downward thrust exerted on the shutter (30) with force sufficient to exceed the elastic reaction of part of the cylindrical supply conduit (10) and/or part of the cylindrical portion (35) of the shutter (30).
